Recently had an experience like no other. Unfortunately not a pleasant one. After confirming…read morearrangements and a delivery date for a very VIP event I was notified the day of that the flowers had not been delivered (after the event had already started) frantic I called Valley Flora only to reach voicemail and had to leave a message. I than had no choice but to call another local florist who was able to turn around an order of the same requested arrangements and delivery them within 40 minutes. Within this time Valley Flora returned my phone call and I asked why they weren't delivered. Apparently they had the date down as Sunday. I told them I had to call another florist and I no longer needed their order. So today I am completely taken back as I receive a bill for the arrangements. I call and leave a message. I get a return phone call from Polly who tries to justify the bill because they had delivered the flowers anyway even though I said I no longer needed them. I recap the conversations as to when the delivery was to be made, the email in which I reference the date and reluctantly she tells me she will give a credit but proceeds to tell me if I have a need in the future not to call them in which I said believe me I don't plan too. Completely unprofessional and would never talk to someone like that who is trying to bring me business especially if I was at fault. I should of been more cautious considering the fact that I had to resend emails with pictures of the type of florals requested because they couldn't locate previously sent emails even though they had already responded to me. Hard to even give one star.

I paid Polly $3,000 to do the flowers for my wedding a few weeks ago and overall the flowers were…read morebeautiful but not what I asked. There are some large issues that I wanted to point out. 1. In the two meetings I had with Polly she was very attentive and took lots of notes. I told her I wanted a very soft, french romantic wedding with white, blush and dusty gray/green flowers. I really wanted to make sure I didnt have a *pink* wedding and I mentioned that many times in both of our meetings. The only pink I wanted was blush, almost white pink. I also gave her pictures of flowers and the colors I wanted. I was very disappointed to see not just a lot of pink, but FUCHSIA flowers everywhere. She might have been listening to me but whoever ended up arranging the flowers obviously did what they wanted. I ended up having a girly PINK wedding. ugh. 2. Church flowers: The florist did a "dump and run" - drop everything at the site and leave as fast as they could. The beautiful raw silk wrapped around my and the bridesmaids bouquet stems were soaked from sitting in overly full vases. The small Mary's bouquet was nowhere to be found so we had to use an orange and red bouquet left over from the wedding before us. The two large urns were not in the right place (literally a foot from us next to the altar) so my husband and I had to strain to see the Priest or any readers. 3. Reception flowers: My caterer was apparently left with having to do a lot of the work for the florist. Another "dump and run". More FUCHSIA flowers everywhere. The hair flower I requested turned out to be two long stemmed roses - seriously how am I supposed to put that in my hair? Overall, pretty work but extremely poor service.

After giving her a few details, including what types of flowers we wanted, she called me back the same day with a proposal for each of the arrangements, given what I mentioned and what she's created before, as well as a final cost, which was definitely reasonable and turned out to be less than what all the other florists were asking for when we called. She also made different recommendations for the arrangements based on our price range, assuring us that a slightly less expensive option would still be beautiful. We wanted calla lilies, which, after calling multiple other florists, were potentially out of season, but because the family requested them, Nina helped us find some for the arrangements. We had multiple last minute requests too, from adding boutonnières to getting hundreds of extra stems of flowers, to having everything delivered a day earlier, and Nina was extremely accommodating and made all of them happen! After we placed the initial order, Nina finished everything within 5 days, even with these new requests. Thank you so much Nina for all your help, the flowers turned out absolutely beautiful, beyond what I could imagine!! They really brightened up the space. I called Nina based on the 1st review here on Yelp for her, and it was definitely the right choice! I highly recommend her as well for all your floral needs, especially in the Vallejo area!

My mom really wanted simple flowers for the occasion -- mostly white but with a little fall color. The flowers we got were just that, and absolutely stunning. So, so beautiful. I'm not super well versed in flower identifying, but there were definitely gorgeous lilies and peonies involved. My dear sweet neighbor at home in Texas (my Texas grandma) called me to ask me which florist was handling my grandmother's flowers; she wanted to contribute an arrangement that matched. Sally and Susan took great care of her order, which was the perfect addition to a beautiful display. After my grandma's service, my mom and I delivered the flower arrangements to 2 places: the home that my grandma was living in when she passed, and the home that my grandpa currently resides in.
