My boyfriend worked for this business for 7 consecutive days leading up to Valentine's Day, driving long distances (up to 8 hours per day) delivering orders. He was in constant communication with the owner, receiving detailed instructions throughout the day. He paid for gas upfront out of pocket and was told he would be compensated for his time and expenses. On payday, he was only reimbursed $300 -- which covered his gas -- and did not receive payment for the many hours he worked. He worked until 10pm on Valentine's Day itself, meaning we weren't even able to have dinner together, because he was committed to fulfilling deliveries for this company. After dedicating an entire week -- including the holiday -- the lack of fair compensation was extremely disappointing. If you are considering working for this business, I strongly recommend getting payment terms clearly agreed upon in writing beforehand. Pay for more than gas, pay for work and people's time. If i could rate this 0 stars I would. I called and ordered flowers for my Grandparents anniversary. He is unable to do so himself so I placed an order for him on his behalf. I've attached a screenshot of what we ordered and what we received. To say I am appalled is an understatement. Not only are the flowers we received NOTHING like what I ordered, they came with a "Happy 21st Birthday" card and not the anniversary card I put on there. My stepdaughter ordered a beautiful arrangement for me from their website for Mother's Day. The store called to let her know that they would need to substitute since they didn't have the available flowers. They substituted 10 drooping tulips in a vase and delivered it a day early and so close to the front door that I knocked it over when I tried to open the door to get it. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! My friend (in another state) ordered flowers for me for my birthday. Since it was a milestone birthday, she went all out, spending almost $80 for a bouquet she ordered from Avas Flowers online. Apparently, a shop called Flower Fantasy in Palm Harbor, Florida took the long distance order. The instructions for the order included pink, white or lavender roses and definitely no yellow or orange ones. My friend was also very explicit to mention she wanted either the raffia bow in the photo or a fabric ribbon. The arrangement was to be approximately 14"-16" tall, in a clear glass vase. What arrived was completely different! It was approximately 6" tall in a short wide glass cup/vase with a yellow rose or two mixed in and cheap yellow and pink curling ribbon one would use to make ribbon tendrils all over the top of the flowers! (I had to move aside all the ribbon to see the flowers.) There were tendrils covering the entire top of the arrangement. (Just like a curly ribbon bow from the card section in a store.) The flowers were not fresh and had already started wilting around the edges and subsequently all the mums lost their petals the next day! I took a picture and sent it to my friend whom was very upset and angry! (She had even paid extra to have the arrangement 'professionally arranged' by a master florist.) She complained, filing a report online on Avas' site. They sent another bouquet the next day. This time, Flower Fantasy added four or so small roses in yellow and red along with maybe three pink or blush-colored roses, a small lilly or orchid and a few mums, only this time it was in a beige fifty cent Walmart cup with the same cheap curly ribbon, this time in pink!! Unbelievable! I called and spoke to the owner/manager of Flower Fantasy and tried to explain why we were so disappointed. She just kept telling me she only had $36 to make both arrangements and that she hadn't even made any money on them. Not true, because I saw the invoice when the second arrangement was delivered. Not only did they screw up the order, they delivered the flowers to the person I sent them to, then went back to the address and asked for the flowers back only to return a few minutes later to tell the person that they were her flowers and that there was a mixup. On top of that they charge my card online, and then they did not process The payment correctly which caused my bank to think it was multiple fraudulent charges. Stay away! Placed order for flowers to be delivered on Valentines Day. They called my wife to make sure she was going to be home to accept delivery and never arrived or called back. I called around 5pm thinking they figure out the probelm and maybe get some flowers delivered within a hour or two. I called back at 8pm and they were still clueless on the situation and that they were going to make it right by not charging me. All of the reviews are ABSOLUTELY true, and you should really STAY AWAY. The customer service is terrible. I purchased flowers for my mother for her birthday because she loves flowers. Instead of calling about how much she loved the flowers, my mother called me quite upset. Not only did they deliver the flowers to the wrong home (the neighbors had to take them to my mother), the florist sent a completely different arrangement of flowers, and the vast majority of the flowers were dying (just not fresh). I was then upset because I paid $80 for the arrangement. I called to complain, and the owner was extremely combative, rude, and refused to even let me tell her the situation. She defended herself and even the delivery driver -- everyone except me, the customer. She eventually offered a $20 discount on my next purchase. As a general sentiment, this is equivalent to no relief, as why would I purchase (and still spend an additional $60) on more flowers when the florist could not get it right the first time and offered such infuriating customer service? Good thing my mother doesn't play that. She drove herself and the flowers to the location in order to voice her complaints on her own birthday because the owner insisted that she would have to bring the flowers to her by 5 p.m. (it was 3:15 p.m. when we had this conversation, and my mother was already headed out to a birthday lunch with her friends). She gave my mother problems as well, but eventually gave her a new arrangement when my mother demanded that she reimburse me. Which should have been the original offer. Just unbelievable.
