She advised that I check out their website for some ideas and to my surprise -- there were beautiful arrangements displayed for just about every occasion. I picked a specific one and prior to ordering, I confirmed which flowers were in season (or not). The nice florist shared that she would put together what I wanted and get as close to it as possible given what she had in the shop. I told her I wanted the arrangement exaggerated and loud. CONSUMERS BEWARE- I bought a $500.00 funeral arrangement and it started wilting in just 1 1/2 days…read more The mourning family took the arrangement home to hopefully brighten up and bring warmth into their home , but instead the flowers were TOTALLY dead in under 3 complete days (see photo attached) while All THE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS they brought home lasted considerably longer , as they should ! Quite obvious they made my arrangement with OLDER and POORER QUALITY FLOWERS !!! What I do recognize that mistakes can happen , but when they do any ethical company apologies and makes compensation or corrects the problem ! If you bought an appliance and it doesn't work they refund the money !!! In this case THEY DIDN'T CARE AT ALL AS THEY HAD MY MONEY !!! For me , the worse part was that when I sent pictures of the flowers received I got no follow up. Like I did not exist. Well, this particular Thrifty florist no longer exists to me. If you think of ordering from Thrifty, don't. You won't know what you are getting and if there is a problem don't expect response.

I had a very disappointing experience with Thrifty Flowers. I ordered a sunflower arrangement from…read moreout of state for a friend whose dog had passed, but the website didn't allow special notes, and I received no confirmation when the order was sent. The arrangement that arrived was full of lilies which are deadly for pets, despite the sensitive situation. When I called, I was transferred multiple times (even to a driver) and told sunflowers were "out of season," so they substituted the arrangement without informing me. They promised a replacement and a refund review, but by Monday nothing had been done. The staff I spoke with were dismissive and unhelpful, saying they "don't work weekends" and could only "avoid" lilies but not guarantee anything. They said there was no way corporate would provide any concession or discount. In the end, I had to repay delivery fees, and the replacement arrangement was small and poor quality. Overall, the lack of communication, rude service, and unsafe substitution make me unable to recommend this florist--especially for sensitive occasions.
