We love getting our Christmas trees here. The trees are always beautiful, fragrant and last forever. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. Most of all their staff will put it into a stand, balance it with wood and make sure it looks beautiful, tie it up safely in or on your vehicle, and it makes it so easy to carry it in and just stand it up. We had not been to this place in way too long. We went when my firstborn was about 20 months old, in 2006. We loved it then, not sure if its the same owners, but three more kids and 14 years later, it was as fun as we remembered. The kids are all old enough to appreciate a real tree more now, and they all enjoyed the activities on the property--maze, fun props for pictures, giant hay mound...and best of all, its FREE to go! The only thing you pay for, is your tree. They had free beverages, snacks & treats. And, the tree we chose is beautiful. A 7' Fraser (so soft, you really can hug it!) cost before tax was around $130. Well worth it. My family had a great time! Most places that also offer food and activities charge to get in. We have four children, so even a low entry fee of $15 ends up being $90 just to enter!! So, to me, the cost of a much better quality tree than Costco or Home Depot offer, was completely worth it. They have a wonderful selection, the nicest and most helpful staff, and you and your family will have an experience beyond just choosing a tree. read more

First, it must said that this is NOT a tree farm. They have pre-cut trees staged around the same field that they have their "pumpkin farm." Don't expect to be able to cull your own trees here (or pumpkins for that matter), if that's what you're looking for go to texaschristmastrees.com. Secondly, be prepared to cash in your retirement for what you can buy at Home Depot for $40 or less. I'm talking hundred(s) for the same tree. Don't be fooled by their 'free' attractions. You are most definitely paying for these attractions, homoeconomicus' worst nightmare, if you're choosing to pay 500% more for a tree from this farm. By all means go and enjoy the attractions! They do a really great job. It's beautiful and really fun for little kiddos. And if you're there for Halloween pumpkins, you could do worse, buy them if you feel guilty about indulging in the seasonal festivities without recompense. But by all accounts the only reason to purchase a Christmas tree here is because you have so much money you can literally just throw it away, and/or because you intend keeping the tag on so you can show everyone how much your self worth is measured by materialistic things. So disappointed! We are disputing the charge on our card! They over charged us by 4ft on our tree. I knew it looked short at the lot....they assured me it was right. We drove 45 min with 4 kids to pay $450 for a 7ft tree! They never pick up their phone, voicemail is full and haven't responded to 4 emails! Here is proof of our tags on the tree. The 11ft tree is their tag and the 7ft one is the one from their wholesale tree place. Outright fraud! We don't have room for many of our ornaments. Skip this place!! Go anywhere else! read more

First of all, this is not a place to go buy a 30 dollar tree and toss it in your truck. For that, go to Lowe's or Home Depot. This is more of an experience. Almost like a Christmas theme park where you can do awesome Christmas photo shoots, and get a super premium tree at the end too if you are so inclined. For what they are, this place is great! Yes, most of the trees are crazy expensive, but they are also huge and beautiful and I'm sure there is a niche market for them especially in a wealthy area like FloMo. The parking is way easier and less crazy than their annual pumpkin patch is. They had rows and rows of trees, some of which are beyond massive. The workers we encountered were super nice, and we took beautiful Christmas pictures here at sunset. There is even a big playground in the middle which my nieces and nephews loved. They also have a giant inflatable christmas slide! If you are looking to purchase a tree, you might find a normal sized one or smaller for a significant markup, $75-$200. For closer to $500 and beyond you have your massive, gorgeous monster sized trees that I'm sure will make you the talk of your Christmas social circles if you have money and are into that. read more

This place is a copy cat of the original tree lot located next door (to the west on FM 1171 at the corner of Flower mound road). We left here empty-handed. The trees were beautiful but very expensive. They promote themselves as a kid friendly experience but they're really just a tree lot with a haystack, bounce house, and swing set essentially. They had a port a potty available but it hadn't been serviced in days and looked like something you would see at a 3-day music festival....on the third day. Taking my 2 year old in there was not an option. If you are looking for a precut tree, have $200+ to drop on a tree, and aren't looking for a Xmas experience-this may work for you. read more

The trees themselves are of very nice quality and it was a pleasant buying experience. However, I give only two stars because a the prices are INSANE. no matter how "fresh" the trees may be, nothing justifies a $300 price tag for a 6 foot Noble. The sales person gave the impression that the prices were high in Texas (as I'm new to the area) because the trees were shipped in from the West coast. Yet after leaving I saw many other venues who were selling trees at a far more reasonable rate. I shared the feedback with the owner directly: she was very open to the feedback and touted the quality of her trees ...but again, I will never purchase from here again given the ridiculous pricing. Also, they wanted to charge $50 delivery per tree (we live 5 miles down the road), they never called to tell us when our flocked tree was ready to pick up and they apparently don't believe in answering their phones either. read more

My husband and I have had a tradition of taking our children to a Christmas tree farm every year while growing up. Now we are taking our Grandchildren. We thought we would try this "Christmas tree farm" as Flower Mound is close to our city. This was definitely not a Christmas Tree Farm. Trees were placed in pots and extremely expensive. The cheapest we could find was 129.00 but most were higher than that. Trees were beautiful and had a great play area for the children but this is NOT a Christmas Tree Farm. The website said this is a tree farm. So we drove quite a distance to visit this tree farm. There is no tree farm, just a lot with Christmas trees - VERY VERY expensive trees. The website explain the benefits over big box stores, but at this "farm", the quality of the tress is average (maybe), but with a HUGE price tag. It was muddy and unpleasant. Last year after spending nearly 30 minutes finding the perfect tree, we paid the exorbitant price and waited for them to put it on my car. After nearly waiting 30 minutes I asked what was going on and apparently they put the tree on the wrong car. They initially wouldn't refund me but i was so pissed they ended up doing so. This year we went back (why, I have no idea ) and picked another highly over-priced pre cut tree out and I tipped the dudes 20 bucks to do a "good job" tying the tree down on top of our car. No dice... it was literally falling off a mile down the road. We got it home going 5-10 miles an hour and I put it up but much to our dismay the tree itself was dead on arrival . I paid 190 bucks for a lousy dead Christmas tree. The only good news was it was so dead after a couple of weeks that it actually shed no pine needles so clean up was a breeze. I would venture to guess given the other bad reviews plus the fact that Home Depot now delivers trees for free this places days are numbered. It's too bad too, there is stuff to do for kids and it's fun to get out as a family but if you can't deliver the end product you're in trouble . read more
