My friend and I came here yesterday. I would say car pool because each car full of people is 20 bucks, so if you all come in your own car you will be paying for it. Its a nice place. Good amount of parking, bad signage though. Everyone was going the wrong way through the "one way exit only lane" which caused a little chaos. The insta-gram-able photo areas are great. We took a few awesome shots! There are ample pumpkins for purchase or just to take photos with. It was pretty busy on a saturday, that is to be expected. I'm reading all the negative reviews and am assuming all of them visited on a weekend. I went with two friends on a Wednesday around 1pm and thought it was not crowded- very easy to get photographs of us with pumpkins and hay bales in the background without people in the background interfering. And even if they did, they walked away quickly out of camera shot. I gotta clarify though, strictly speaking, this place isn't by definition a "pumpkin patch" because there weren't any vines or pumpkins sprouting from the ground. I'd describe it more as a field with lots of pumpkins scattered around. But admission is only $10 per car on weekdays ($20 on weekends), so just pack your car with people, swing by, and enjoy the photo opportunities and free hay bale rides if that's your thing! My kiddos love this place and the joy it brings them makes my wife very happy, which this then makes me happy. Good affordable family fun. We don't buy pumpkins typically because they are premium priced pumpkins but we pay to get in and do the activities. We've been several years and it gets very crowded. It's reservation only, at $20 per car. I had booked a previous date and it was raining day of. I tried to call them to check if they were open, but no one answered the phone. I called five times that day. There was no information for open/closed on their website. A friend went to Facebook and and found there was an update there, the place was shut. Why update Facebook and not your website? I guess they presume that everyone is still using Facebook. Rescheduled for another day. However, it turned out to be very windy (obviously not their fault). The location is on a field, on a hill side, on the corner of a street. The parking lot is covered in sand. The whole floor for all the attractions is thick, red sand and rocks, with narrow and crowded walkways. The areas to walk through are cramped, especially when everyone has wagons, strollers, family groups etc. The wind blew the sand everywhere. There were no trees for protection. It was almost impossible to see, the wind blew sand into everything, and we stayed only an hour. The children in our party were very disappointed. The playground was a load of old equipment, crammed into small spaces with a ton of sand being blown around. There were no opportunities to take photos due to the wind and the excessive sand. I felt they at least might have been able to put up some shelters in some spaces? Again, obviously the wind cannot be helped but I felt that they should not have opened (as they will know and be able to see the conditions at the site) but they still did so it felt like a money grab after the previous closure. The pumpkins were just put on a bit of grass. I could have done the same in my yard with pumpkins from Walmart. It did not feel like a 'farm' experience at all. A good portion of the pumpkins had sides caved in from being soft (maybe from the rain the week before). They provided wagons for the pumpkins but had a terrible weighing system. You had to lift your extremely heavy pumpkins up a step and then up again onto a waist high table. Good luck if you're elderly, disabled or you picked a larger pumpkin. Staff refused to help and we had to ask them several times to place the scale on the floor (which they did so it was less of a struggle). Pumpkins were $2 per pound so extremely expensive. Only one food vendor which had huge lines, below par expensive food (a 8-10oz lemonade with a ton of ice and no discernible lemon flavor was $4). No forks either, so you're eating with your hands, or lids, so the watery lemonade had a ton of sand from the playground area blown into it. We were told that other vendors had left already, which isn't really helpful to the customers if they keep the patch open and had suggested several good options with their advertising. The whole experience felt like a badly organized and ultimately disappointing money grab. The weather couldn't be helped but the way they handled it could have been, either by closing or better preparations and better reactions. While I appreciate that any business is there to make money, pumpkin patches tend me have customers who want a Fall experience (pictures, cute times with the kids, food options, activities) and this fell short on those aspects so I wouldn't recommend it at all. read more

There are photo opportunities everywhere, especially during the week when it's less crowded. Just a fabulous pumpkin mecca. On a beautiful sunny day in October, which normally one might think it would be in the low 60s, turned out to be in the mid 80s..... only in Texas. My daughter and I went to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. This is the second year we have gone and last year was well, actual Fall weather. Cloudy, a bit nippy and in the 60s. This is a good place to take young children. Bounce houses galore, hay bale mazes, face painting, hay rides, barrel rides and of course pumpkins. Great photo opportunitites at all turns. All sorts of colorful cuts outs all over the place from Sesame Street, to Star Wars, to Yo Gabba Gabba to The Peanuts. The smell of fresh kettle corn permeates everything and you can't beat the food from Texas Roadhouse or a good funnel cake or corny dog. It only cost $5.00 to park and all rides and face paintings are free. The pumpkins got a little pricier this year so we opted for the small $3.00 varieties. But all in all, it's about my daughter having a good time, and me spending some great quality time with her. And taking lots of pictures of her. read more

We really enjoy this pumpkin patch. You only pay a fee entrance which is $5 during the week or $10 on weekends. You get FREE hay rides, FREE jump houses which they have plenty to select from, FREE hay maze, they have tons of wooden cut out characters your kids can take pictures with again FREE, a gigantic chair your whole family can sit on to take a picture on and tons and tons of pumpkins to purchase. They have food booths and an animal area with ponies, turtle, goats and pigs. A play ground for the kids to plant on and so much more. Absolutely nobody was wearing masks. Definitely not up to the COVID restrictions. There were no drinks or food so if you do go make sure to take your own. We ended up leaving empty handed with no pumpkin, the line to check out was over 30 people. We were so disappointed. As we were leaving a pot hole in the parking lot cracked my front bumper. We asked for a manager and she told us because we were on "public" property they could not do anything for us. We were so disappointed. We will never come back to this pumpkin patch. It's a pumpkin patch made for kids and full of things for them to do. The best things about it? It's FREE! All you pay is parking, which is $5 during the week, and $10 weekends. But considering you can be there all day... is a great deal. They have picnic table and food for sale, which makes it possible to enjoy the whole day. You can even rent a wagon! Yay! The reason I gave it 4 stars is because they only have porta potties and an open out house for changing babies. Pumpkin Patch on a weekend....NEVER a good idea!!! Although it was crowded, we got in easy and got a pretty close parking spot. Once we got to where everything is, it was chaos. There could definitely be a better set up where the food is and eliminate the entry in the middle of the patch chaos. Obviously you want to go to a pumpkin patch way before this time of the year to get a good pumpkin that wasnt used as a bench and squished. We did take a hayride with the kids which was short but enjoyable. We sat at the picnic tables close to the food area and it was too crowded over there and there were big tents over it so that was nice. We didnt eat anything out there just had a couple bottles of water and sweet tea. I liked seeing someone walking about picking up trash. There was a big area for kids to have a birthday party at with a playground. To enjoy this place might go early in October during the week days. Bring a wagon or they have some there for you to use for free. There are a lot of picture opportunities to take advantage of and a small place where they had a couple goats and maybe something else but I didnt make it to close to that area. This place had free rides and everything else you could want from a pumpkin patch. Parking wasn't an issue and only five dollars during the week. I believe it's a bit more on the weekends but again the rides are free which makes the visit that much better. Plenty of activities to include a huge maze for the kids. The tractor ride took you around the whole ranch and you get to see a lot of other characters around there. It was almost a hour trip to get there and I'll tell you, compared to places around my area... the flower mound pumpkin patch was definitely worth taking our kiddo to. The only thing I noticed that did need work on was the older kids in the maze. There was little effort to get some older kids to stay off of standing on top on the hay stacks. When it's the parents policing other people's kids, is when you know they're either lacking staff or aren't doing much about it. It wasn't too bad, however when we're talking about hay stacks potentially falling on top of your child... well you get the point. Overall, we had fun. No customer service AT ALL. Attempted numerous times to contact someone. Even gotten responses but instead of giving me back my money for the event I DID NOT ATTEND... I'm getting the run around. The day of the event back in OCTOBER on that date (have phone records to prove) they told me "sure you probably won't see the money though until Monday since it's saturday" I said okay and I gave my sister in le back her half of the money... now I'm going into December and STILL have yet to see any money back in my account. I have messages on Facebook with who knows who, saying they "didn't check their messages but will do it..." and still nothing. For someone that wants business in the future you'd think they'd be careful with how they handle business. Clearly they are careless. Just sad that as first time parents, we wanted to take our kids to all the spots we've seen, this one on tik tok, and now I have to not only NOT experience it, but leave bad reviews and tell my followers not to do the same either. I saw some bad reviews for this place, but I went on a Tuesday morning and I thought it was great. Probably way too busy on weekends. This place is perfect for toddlers - mine loved it at 1.5 and 3 years old. Tons of pumpkins, dozens of wooden cutouts of different characters to take photos with, a big kid hay maze that looked awesome and a smaller hay maze for kids under 4. There were several playground areas with many different play houses for kids of all sizes, a small train that went all the way around the property and 4 different hayride trailers. There were no lines for anything while we were there. It was $10/carload and every experience was included - pumpkins were for sale based on size. There were a couple of concessions that were not open I assume because it was a Tuesday, but i had brought snacks. There were about 10 portapotties near the parking lot. read more

Well run pumpkin patch. Loads of employees and very well organized to keep things running smoothly. We came on a Saturday and it was absolutely packed and bursting at the seams but everything was well marked and segregated by age so the little kids aren't mixed with the older ones. Keep in mind this is really for smaller kids. I have a 10 year old and most of it was geared for little ones. Only complaint is there needed more shopping. While the kids are playing, it would be great if there was a farmer's market stand to get fresh baked goods, local honey and that kind of stuff. Otherwise there is almost zero to do over the age of 12. read more

Parking on weekends is $10 but totally worth it since all the activities are free. There are plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your own food or vendors if you want to buy. We did partake in the funnel cake because how could you not. The kiddos enjoyed the bounce houses many many times. Luckily the lines weren't bad. The place had a lot of people but everything was well spread out and didn't feel crowded or overwhelming and we were able to easily keep an eye on the kids. There is a pretty great maze for the kiddos and the hay ride is fun too. There are pumpkins galore and plenty of places for photo ops. First time visiting The Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch this year with my 1 year old and 3 year old. For a $5 parking fee, there were a lot of activities included. We did the hay ride, the younger kids maze, the bounce house, walked around the wooden cut-outs, and walked around the pumpkin patch. Additionally we had lunch ($7 for a hot dog, nachos, and bottle of water) and bought a pumpkin ($12 for a large pumpkin). I went on Wednesday, October 29 around 11:00 am. There was plenty of parking and, despite an elementary school being there for a field trip, it wasn't very crowded. Besides a lot of the activities being included, there was plenty of tables to eat at, the staff were polite, and I love the wagons that were available. The four stars is because the selection of pumpkins wasn't that great. Most were really expensive or odd shaped. It may have been because I waited until two days before Halloween though. Around 1:00 pm, they started to deflate some of the bouncers, so my son never got to go down the slide one. I agree that there was a bee problem, especially around the trash cans. My Family and friends had an amazing time here! Although... the maze wasnt completed they were still setting it up, there was no train and no hay ride. So I felt a bit ripped off at paying $20 for parking for each of my two vehicles so $40. Also it says on the website that all vendors take card well thats not true because the kettle corn vendor was only taking cash and I didn't have any on me. So two attractions were missing but we still enjoyed ourselves taking pictures with the many wonderful props. We sat down on the benches the kids played on the playground and we had some water we brought with us and then we picked out our pumpkins. I don't understand why the pumpkin patch isnt more forthright about the pricing some signs would be nice the large ones in the rows in the grass are $1 a pound if you wanted to know the smaller ones are about 15 lbs minimum to the large ones which were about 40 pounds. I don't mind the price because I want to support a local business rather than paying a huge grocery chain $4 for the same pumpkin size. I also understand they have to pay for upkeep for the pumpkin patch which I am grateful for! Everything was good except when we were checking out the lady that rang up my pumpkins was extremely rude. I said Hello, how are you today? She said nothing except "Put it up here" So I sat my pumpkin on the scale. She says, "39". "39 lbs, $39. Which is fine and we proceed to weigh the rest of my 6 pumpkins which totaled $136 the whole time being snarky impatient and short with us. Like purchasing pumpkins was some sort of large inconvenience for her. I spend $176 total at your business and you cannot even show common courtesy and be decently sociable...? At the end she was like you sure have alot of pumpkins and I say yes we are having a pumpkin carving party. Which she just says, "oh okay." I don't expect my butt to be kissed or heck even a full conversation but to be so brash to a well paying customer is just horrible business! I mean if you don't want to be there then don't be!! I paid for my pumpkins and went to sit down with the family while the kids played a bit longer before leaving. All in all the kids had a wonderful time, I however left feeling unappreciated for spending my hard earned money. I will find a different pumpkin patch to go to. $10 a car on the weekends and pretty much everything else is free except food: Hay Ride Train Ride Play areas to include bounce houses and playground Face Paint Cut outs of children's favorite characters Tips: Arrive right when it opens, it fills up quick, you'll need 2 hrs at most. At noon you're unable to walk around comfortably. Buy your pumpkins (if you plan to) right away, they go fast and don't look like they get restocked that same day, get the best one(s), throw them in your car and go back to enjoying the fun. While water is only $1.00 and food is moderately cheap you can bring your own food and there are a lot of picnic tables to eat at. If you don't want to bring your food they have food stands like Fletcher's Corn Dogs, a place that does burgers and hot dogs and a BBQ place. Don't dress nicely for the occasion and wear sneakers. You will do a lot of walking and it's super dusty, you're going to leave pretty dirty. read more

It was too crowded with a pandemic happening. I would HATE to be here when it is open to capacity. The bees were horrible. When we got there we had 3 attacking us and that was far away from everything. When we finally made the way too long walk to the actual grounds it was like someone had released a whole bevy of bees. We were unable to get any pictures because of the plethora of bees. We tried to go to characitures and there was still more bees. There were less than 20 pumpkins in the pumkin patch. Even if it was the last day. No discounts for this being the last day either. The "food" options consisted of corndogs ($6-$8), funnel cake ($7?) and $4 lemonade. I've been bringing my son here for the last 5 yrs. It's super cute and has tons of wooden character cut outs, hayride, playground, bounce houses, merry-go-round, wooden play houses, a gigantic pumpkin chair, face painting, sno-cones, food vendors, craft table. They used to have a small train made out of barrels but they stopped doing that several years ago. There are tons of picture opportunities and all around good family fun. All the activities are free but parking costs $5 (maybe more on weekends). The last several years I did not have as much fun and here's why: rude staff, rude people, overcrowded, older kids in the smaller kids bounce house and kids being too rough in the play areas. BEES all over the table sitting/trash areas. I'm deathly afraid of bees and don't need stung. The pumpkins are pricey but we only buy the small mini sized ones for my son so that's not a problem for me. Not sure if it's worth me making the drive out there to not have fun. read more

I love this Place! I do recommend going when its not too crowded. Do go to the bathroom before you come as they have porta potties. My son loves the hayride and the pumpkin maze.
