I was in need of a last-minute nail appointment and was looking for something nearby. This salon…read morehad great reviews, so I downloaded the app and was able to book an appointment without any issues. When I arrived, however, I immediately felt a little uncomfortable. I wasn't greeted very warmly, but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt since I was running a few minutes late and didn't know what may have happened before I arrived. The salon itself is very clean and brightly lit. After choosing my polish, I was directed to my chair. One thing to note is that the pedicure chairs are elevated, requiring you to step up into them, and they are not massage chairs. The basins also don't have jets, and the seating area feels a bit close together. My nail tech did a good job on my service, and I was happy with the final result. However, she did remind me that I should arrive on time next time because I was late, which, while understandable, didn't make me feel especially welcomed as a first-time customer. What stood out most was the overall customer experience. I noticed a drink menu and waited for someone to take my order, but no one ever did. Throughout my appointment, I was only spoken to by the receptionist and my nail tech. Meanwhile, many other clients seemed to have a warm, familiar rapport with some of the staff, which made me feel a bit like an outsider. To be clear, I have no complaints about the quality of the work--it looks great. My disappointment was more with the customer service and overall atmosphere. Based on my experience, I didn't feel particularly welcomed, and that's an important part of any self-care appointment for me. One final note: this salon is appointment-only, so don't expect to walk in and be accommodated. Overall, the nails were good, but the customer experience left something to be desired.

Nice new spot in Elmwood Village on Elmwood next to the Lexington Co-op. Went in for a pedicure…read morewith Julliette. Booked online - they seem to book quite far out so I recommend planning ahead. Or maybe you'll get lucky with a last minute opening! The space is open, bright and clean. Staff are very friendly. My pedicure was very relaxing and I was glad there wasn't too much talking haha...I'm the type of person that likes to relax and be mostly silent during my self care time The only things I could think of to make it an even better experience were more comfortable pedicure chairs (see photo) and offering a beverage upon arrival (water, tea, etc). Those are small things that other spots do to make things a bit more special. I would return!
