I can't think of another time that I was so impressed with a florist. The ordering process was a cinch and was delivered same day (within hours!) The recipient sent a photo of the bouquet and it was stunning! Apparently smelled fantastic too! The GF and I hit the one year mark a little over a month ago, and I knew it was my duty as a good BF to send her flowers at work. What lady doesn't like flowers at work? I called The Flowering Jade because well... they were near by. I asked them for Fire & Ice roses, because my GF is much cooler than plain blah red roses. The owner said that he may have to order them from outside the country, because the grower that he used to buy from stopped growing them. He said something about the heads being too small. He said he'd call me back with a price. The next day I got a voice mail from him saying that the local grower did have Fire & Ice roses, so he could deliver them no problem. I called back a placed my order. The flowers were delivered first thing in the morning. Awesome! Then I walked over to my GF's side of the building to have a look. The flowers were tiny. Each flower was less than an inch long. I started to get a little upset, but then I noticed something. There was a lot more than just 12 roses here. I started counting roses. 2 hands and 2 feet later I came up with 18. There were 18 roses. I only ordered and paid for 12, but I have a feeling the people at Flowering Jade must have understood the small size and tossed in half a dozen more. This is the second time I've used them, and I will continue to use them. They provide GREAT service. read more

I am so impressed with Flowering Jade! I live in Texas and I called earlier today to ask for a custom bouquet to be made. I didn't know how busy they'd be since it's 2 days before Valentine's Day so I was flexible with getting something done as long as it was within a decent time. (They said around 4 hours and had it done in 3.) I just let them know that I wanted something springy with pastel colors for my mothers birthday and only wanted to spend $50 dollars. My mother called to order flowers and had recently lost her voice. She asked if the lady on the other end could hear her and the employee replied with a condescending, "yeah I'm waiting for you to tell me something." My mom then asked if they did homecoming corsages and boutonnières, to which the lady replied, "is it today?!" I have seen other reviews speaking of the hostility of their customer service, and my advice is to simply try any one of the other flower shops in the area. Ordered a flowering basket for a memorial. Did my order over the phone so that I could double check on what particular arrangement would be sent. I ordered a "Euro Garden". The description was thus: Green plants and blooming together in a natural basket. I upgraded the arrangement so that it would be larger and more full. Much to my disappointment, when I arrived at the memorial I just couldn't believe my eyes. Not only were there NO blooms, it was tiny and short. Ridiculously tiny. I am not adverse to spending $$$ on flowers. But, I expect to get what I paid for. Frankly, I was embarrassed. I wrote to the florist and received a reply. Clearly, he did not read and/or understand my comments. He was sorry I was disappointed. But, did he offer to make it right? Nope. A reputable florist would have sent a replacement. My fiance and I searched high and low for a good local florist for our wedding. We didn't have a TON of needs as we were making a lot of DIY stuff for center pieces etc but we did have a few really important needs: the mom corsages, the boutonnieres, and some stemmed flowers for a special part of our ceremony. After stopping in to many flower shops with poor displays and customer service we were pleased to find this little hole in the wall gem! We were probably not the ideal customer as we had NO idea what were looking for. They had ALL kinds of flowers out for us to look at and see samples of and the guy that helped us time and time again was so patient with us and offered great advice and expertise. We came back a few times before we finally placed our order and we never felt pressured or frustrated. They made our flower experience so pleasant! They even used some of our own twine to cover the ends of the boutonnieres so that they'd match the girls homemade fabric bouquets. The day of the wedding the flowers were ready on time and they were GORGEOUS! they did not disappoint! We will be using them for all our flower needs from here on out and we are excited to be supporting this local business! read more

I called them back & they tried to tell me that since I ordered flowers last year (I've never ordered flowers in my life) that they wanted to confirm my CC# & to ask if I wanted to order flowers????
