If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a farewell spray from Flowers by Coley for my niece's funeral and confirmed before paying that they could deliver by 7:00 AM for an 8:00 AM service. I was traveling from out of state, and this was my only chance to honor her with flowers. By 9:30 AM, nothing had been delivered. When I called, the person who answered casually told me, "We don't open until 8." That alone was shocking, because I had already confirmed the 7 AM delivery window with them -- otherwise I never would have placed the order. And even if they did open at 8, it was already 9:30 when I called. Then came the first lie: I was told the flowers were "on the way." I asked them to cancel the order because the service was nearly over. I also requested a manager call me with an explanation. What I received was even worse: I was told the order "never printed" for the designer and was completely overlooked. So how exactly was the driver "on the way" with an arrangement that was never made? This wasn't a birthday bouquet or a casual delivery. It was a farewell spray for my niece's funeral. They knew I was coming from out of state. Had I not been physically present at the service, I would have never known they failed to deliver anything at all. They ruined my only opportunity to send her off with the flowers she deserved. Between the excuses, the contradictions, and the complete lack of accountability, this company has shown me they are not trustworthy, especially for sensitive, time‑critical occasions. I ordered an arrangement for delivery and it was supposed to be a Deluxe Coral Kiss arrangement. The colors in the photo were bright and cheerful, which was perfect for the occasion. I understand that substitutes sometimes need to be made but instead of the large and colorful arrangement I ordered, the recipient received a small boring arrangement of a handful of roses and a few lillies. It was monochromatic, tiny, and absolutely nothing like what I ordered. I've reached out twice to try to remedy the issue but have not received a reply. Flowers by Coley was amazing!! I ordered directly off of their website and they had the most beautiful arrangement with a succulent which was exactly what I was looking for. Turns out they actually make the arrangement as pictured with slight variations of color I would assume based on availability or season. Some of the flowers were put in partially open, which is exactly how I would expect so they can bloom and look beautiful in the hands of the customer! When I called to check delivery (which was day after order), the were extremely friendly and kind to me. Assured me delivery at a certain time and stayed true to it. The delivery driver tried very hard to get into an apartment complex (which I know is very hard to do). Even went and talked with the apartment leasing office, who was very rude to her. She called me back and we worked it out together and everything turned out great! The price was great if you consider the lovely arrangement, quick delivery and excellent customer service! I submitted an order on Friday for Sunday delivery to a church, with very clear notes requesting delivery before 12 PM. I also paid extra for a custom banner to be included with the arrangement. When I received the confirmation, I noticed there was nowhere to enter the banner details, so I called the shop on Saturday to provide the text and to confirm delivery details. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR IMPORTANT EVENTS!! This is the first bad review I have ever done. I used Flowers By Coley for the first time for my mothers funeral that was held at a nearby church. I ordered over the phone and prepaid. There were multiple arrangements with a total cost over $1,000.00. The flowers were for guest tables along with flowers for inside the church ceremony/Mass. I was assured that the flowers would arrive before 9am for the 10am Funeral Mass. I became nervous at 9:20 when they had not arrived and at 9:30 had to leave arriving guests to make a phone call to the flower shop. They assured me they were on the way. At 9:45 we had to place a guest's gift of flowers in the church by my moms ashes and guests had all arrived with no flowers on the tables. I made another call to the flower shop. At 9:55 the flowers were hastily delivered and I had to help with bringing them to where they needed to be instead of preparing for ceremony which began a moment later. It made a stressful and emotional day that much harder. No one from the flower shop reached out about the flowers not arriving timely and a week later I made a phone call to let them know how disappointed I was. They assured me they would have the owner call me back. There was no returned call. I stopped by the flower shop a month after that hoping I would be able to talk to someone. The manager at the Tustin location said she was sorry that happened. She said she would be talking to the owner that night but there was nothing she as the manager had authority to do to make it right. It is now another month later and I am doing what I didn't want to do and am writing a bad review. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially small businesses, but this owner obviously does not care about nor have pride in customer service. My company ordered 2 bouquets from this florist for Admin Day. The person ordering even called and a requested an early delivery. One bouquet showed up at 2:30, did not tell anyone they were there, just left them on a table and walked out. The first bouquet was very pretty and put together as I would expect a professional floral arrangement to look. The second delivery was made at 4:30pm, after I (the receiver) had already gone home for the day. The second bouquet was obviously thrown together last minute with leftovers from the day. Half wilted carnations, small sterling roses, half dead stock, random greens. Stock was used and they are very strong smelling, offensive to the people around me who have smell sensitivities. There is also some sort of sticky substance sprayed on the leftover bouquet. I would absolutely never use this florist again, especially because when the person who ordered them called yesterday and asked what happened, all the girl said was "sorry, they went out when they were done". Why on earth you would make 2 separate trips to the same office 2 hours apart with 2 completely different looking bouquets (one professional looking and 1 like a child put it together). This is a late review from Valentine's Day. I ordered a Ranunculus bouquet for my girlfriend about a week or two ahead of time to be delivered on Valentine's Day. At about 11am on Valentine's Day I received a call from them saying that they didn't get their delivery in. Apparently it was supposed to come in on Friday and never showed up, and then they expected it on Saturday and it never showed up. They offered some alternatives that they could do. Since it hadn't gone out yet and our plans were changing, I asked them to change the delivery address (about 10 minutes away from the original, closer to their location). The associate was super nice and said they could do it and they were sorry. Life happens though, I get it. They ended up being delivered to the original address by a very confused driver, but looked beautiful! She was super happy with them when we finally got back, but just wish they had let me know sooner that the flowers hadn't come in as that certain flower was the only reason I ordered from them. It's completely different look! Busy season can help to tell how consistent one's work is. You just don't throw anything together to just fulfill the order. This is for the owner or manager of Flowers by Coley, I am sending this as it seems there is really not any documentation of my calls to you. I called to order flowers for a colleague in our office on 10-12-21 approximately around 5pm. I had told the gal that this was the 1st time we have done business with you. I was charged a total of $115.24 The flowers were delivered on 10-13 at around 1 pm. The delivery guy handed me the arrangement and one of the orchids almost fell out of the box as it was leaning way over. I looked in the wooden box that the arrangement was in and it looked like the "designer" threw everything together in 2 minutes. I was very disappointed and took pictures. One of the succulents was broken off and the piece was laying in the box. The whole arrangement smelled like dirt. One of the succulents was tied to a stick and just stuck in the box. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The moss was just thrown in and was very sparse. That is why the orchid fell over. I immediately called and spoke with some gal. She apologized and said she would send an UPGRADED ARRANGEMENT the next day and pick up the one that was delivered. next day, I called at 4:30 as we had not received the promised UPGRADED arrangement. I spoke to Karen and she said it was delivered at 3:45. I told her I did not get the delivery and the one that was to be picked up was still here. She sent me a pic of where she delivered and it was certainly not our office. She really tried to figure this out. She called the delivery person and she said she left it somewhere on the 1st floor at a hospital. There is a surgery center in our building but it is not us!!! So I went down there and there it was on their counter with clearly a address card on it that said suite 235. Why in the world would someone leave it at a totally wrong suite when it clearly says suite 235???? I retrieved it and couldn't believe what was delivered for an UPGRADED ARRANGEMENT. One small orchid with 1 succulent. I am sorry but this has been a very negative experience. I know it is very difficult to get staff/employees right now but the ones you have should be able to do the job the right way for making the clients happy.
