Recently received the 'Spring is in the Air arrangement' a few weeks ago as a gift. The arrangement looked much different than the photo and description online. The roses were a dark red as opposed to hot pink. There was also white gerbera vs. light pink. Honestly the bouquet looked totally disjointed - spring flowers and winter/valentines flowers. I ended up having to separate the florals into two vases when I got home as they were so overcrowded into the one vase (see before and after photos). The florals would not have thrived if I kept them in the one vase they were delivered in. It feels like this arrangement was a rush job - bright orange tissue paper. A blue bow. Doesn't scream spring. I don't know if I'd recommend / purchase flowers from here based on the gift I received. read more

I placed an order online and requested next day delivery. That morning, while texting with my friend, the recipient, I learned she was going out of town for the long weekend. Panicked, I quickly called Flowers by Richard to see if I could change the delivery date. The woman who answered quickly checked my order and said the flowers were on the delivery truck but that she would reschedule the delivery date for Monday and have a fresh arrangement made that day. He was unable to get into the building to deliver the flowers so not only did he call, leave a voicemail and text the recipient to try and get an answer to the door but then, upon not receiving a response, went out of the way to have the flowers held by a nearby restaurant for the recipient to retrieve. I found Richard on Yelp a couple of weeks before my son and his (now) wife were married here in the city. I did everything over the phone which was super efficient for someone planning a quick wedding! I sent photos, and while the flowers weren't the exact color we wanted, he did add some sprigs of flowers that did have the colors we wanted. They turned out beautifully especially for doing everything over the phone and through email! He even gave us some extra flowers for our cake table at no charge.
