In the midst of planning a holiday party at one of the largest hospitals in America, I was hoping to rely on this company. They agreed to fulfill a teleflora order directly so that I could omit the handling fee. After 4 days of trying to get an invoice, I gave up. Either they couldn't get a hold of the bookkeeper, lost the order, of mixed up my name with someone else. I was about 6 weeks out from my October 2013 wedding day and still hadn't found a florist who could fit me into their busy schedule or who was willing to work with my $2-3K floral budget. Acadian Bakery (where we ordered our wedding cake) recommended Georgia, so my mother and I drove over to visit her shop after cake tasting one afternoon. Georgia welcomed us (without an appointment, I might add) and quickly sat us down to talk about the various types of flowers she could get for the season and the look we wanted. She was familiar with our wedding venue (Brennan's) and had several ideas for the space and colors. She was also very accommodating to our budget, which I have come to learn is about half of the average floral budget for Houston weddings. Georgia suggested we reuse the bridesmaids' bouquets around the reception space to save money, which I thought was a very creative way to cut costs. Georgia told us if we did this, we would be able to afford a floral archway for the ceremony, which pleased me very much. After about an hour of chatting, we paid about a $250 deposit, which I thought was very cheap compared to other venues who requested we put down half, and we were on our way. I believe final payment was due within a week or two of the wedding date, when Georgia called to confirm everything we had previously discussed. On the day of the wedding, the flowers arrived promptly and within the time we discussed. Georgia even provided 60 glass votive holders to place around the floral centerpieces, and she only asked that we provide the candles for them. After the wedding was over, we had the option of packing up the flowers and taking them home with us (save for the archway, of course) but Georgia let us know that if we allowed her workers to come pick up the leftover flowers, they would be donated to a nearby hospital, so we opted for that instead. In all, Georgia was so easy to work with, and very professional. I appreciated that I was supporting a small mom-and-pop shop, and I will definitely hire her in the future. read more

Hmmm.. I really wasn't impressed with this place. I wanted them to make an arrangement that cost around $80 since this is what I typically do when ordering flowers. The flowers were beautiful, but it didn't look as full as I expected for the money and they died pretty fast. The gentleman who took my order over the phone had excellent customer service skills. He was very patient and helpful. It was only a few weeks before my wedding and I still hadn't found a florist. My husband and I had went to several florists in the area and we were not pleased by the locations that we stopped at. He found this place on line and we called to see if they were available to provide flowers for our upcoming wedding. We were asked to come by and meet with them. We met with Georgia that day and she asked us a few questions about what we were wanting and how much we wanted to spend. Georgia was very pleasant! We had found our florist!!! I had chosen a few bouquets from her many books of pictures. Georgia actually sent me home with some beautiful stargazer lilies for free. On the day of the wedding I was so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the flowers were. My bouquet lasted 2 weeks, and for roses, that's unheard of. I've received three arrangements from here. While the flowers are very artistically arranged and have beautiful colors and design, they never last more than 24 hours. The flowers will start wilting and the petals will start falling off by the next day after delivery. They are ready to be trashed by day three. read more
