STAY AWAY Upon hiring FU a year prior to my wedding, I was very optimistic about this company.FU indicated that they can work with any budget and seemed to have a lot of ideas. I was given a proposal that was over my stated budget however I knew there were items I wanted eliminated so I figured out that it would work.After hiring FU I attempted to meet with Dalyn at the venue so that she could see what we were working with and go from there.We finally picked a date to meet and Dalyn did not show up no call email text etc Bettina was there,who is very nice,but not the visionary.She was just there to take pictures to relay to Dalyn.In the months that proceeded,I tried to get a hold of Dalyn so we could get ideas going as the months were going by,I had NEW ideas and changes to the original proposal.As I wanted things removed from the proposal, FU NEVER sent me an updated proposal with my changes. Dalyn kept telling me to just send inspiration photos. Dayln finally met with me at the venue in November (2 months before the wedding) and seemed to have good ideas, so I felt a little more comfortable again. After Dalyns visit to the venue it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach her. Emails were ignored for weeks on end. I wanted to nail down a design and the cost for the new ideas we had discussed at the venue tour. I was getting very stressed as my wedding was approaching in January and we still had nothing nailed down in regards to flower designs. In December, about 1 month and 9 days prior to my wedding I tried to reach Dalyn again by phone and email telling her I needed to nail down what we were doing, as her contract indicates that the final proposal needs to be complete and paid for 1 month prior to the event. Dalyn told me to disregard the date on the contract and that we had time. I did not feel like we had time. There are so many things to do prior to a wedding and still trying to nail down florals was the last thing I wanted. Dalyn emailed me telling me that she would call me on specific days at certain times and never did. I had to constantly email her asking if she had gotten my emails or voicemails. FINALLY on new years eve she had time to meet with me (less than a month from wedding). Originally she wanted to charge me $250 for a sample arrangement but said she would see what she could do. Upon arrival she had an arrangement that I loved with colors I loved. Great I thought. These were cheaper flowers than the original proposal and we decided on less flowers. She promised me the updated proposal on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, and it wasn't until 6 days later i emailed her questioning the status. she emailed me saying she had a virus and would get it to me. once i got the new proposal with less flowers and cheaper flowers, the proposal was $1,000.00 OVER the previous already over budget proposal. I told them that the budget was way over what we discussed and they said that they would not be able to reduce the cost. I finally, 1 week before my wedding, eliminated all of the bridal bouquets and cocktail hr florals so that it would fit my budget since the florist who said they could fit any budget, obviously couldn't or wouldn't. On top of all else, these final changes were all occurring while i was out of the country on my bachelorette party. Of course she wanted me to pay the balance while out of the country and make deliveries to her office all 3 DAYS before my wedding. this company is unprofessional and a NIGHTMARE read more
