Customer service by the owner was great. She was helping me find a few items that would blend well for an upcoming bridal shower. After listening to her ideas, it was obvious that I did a horrible job choosing and grouping the right table gifts. The fresh cut long stem Ecuadorian roses are at a reasonable $5.00 each. As a finish up my holiday shopping this week, it occurs to me how much I've come to rely on my favorite flower shop. I know who the flower lovers in my life are and I like to treat them to gorgeous blooms. I'm a multiple-times-a-year client for over 15 years and stayed with them after they moved to a new location a few years ago. I love to go into the shop because the owner curates some original stuff that I either buy for myself or have her build an arrangement around (see what I chose last Easter...the cutest!) . She helps me with special situations (like my mother in law has a birthday close to Christmas and she loves flowers, but I need an arrangement that has no red and green theme! I hate when December birthdays get all tied up with Christmas...not fair!) My local deliveries are always handled expertly, and they manifest all the names and addresses I've ever sent flower to. Impressive. The sister of a friend told him last night that she has stage four cancer, spreading too much for doctors to operate. Horrible news, any week, but particularly this week, Thanksgiving. I checked Yelp! and saw that Forget Me Not was nearby and highly ranked. After calling and explaining the situation, and asking them to use their discretion for a floral arrangement, I asked if I could pick the flowers up about ten minutes later. My friend's eyes teared when I gave the arrangement to him. He said that his sister loves flowers, and will definitely get a smile from the arrangement that Forget Me Not did for her. So many lilies, waiting to open. They'll smell wonderful. The ladies at Forget Me Not were wonderful, and did a great job. The photograph does not do justice to the arrangement! I wanted to share my experience about this flower shop. I wanted to get my wife a birthday flower arrangement from the kids. During our travels we have passed by this shop but today we stopped in! We were helped by I believe the owner. She was extremely friendly and answered all our questions about an arrangement in our price point. We ordered the flowers for pickup the next day. I needed to send flowers to someone in the Cleveland Clinic in Weston and I hate to use FTD - when they farm out their orders, only a small portion actually goes to the local florist and you wind up with an embarrassingly small arrangement. My seven-year-old niece is a dancer and since she was three, I've been getting her age and size appropriate recital bouquets after every show. New to the area, I found this shop on Yelp and I couldn't be more thrilled with Cathy and the bouquet she created for us. It's beautiful, special, and well-priced, but the love is in the details, y'all. From taking me back immediately to the freezer to make my flower selection, to letting me articulate what I want while giving suggestion, to wrapping the bouquet stems with purple ribbon (the niece's favorite color) like a bridal bouquet, then independently adding a white-glittered ribbon bow ("because all little girls love glitter!"), to adding water tubes to all the spray roses because I had to have it last eight hours without a vase, to wrapping the bouquet finally in purple tissue paper (again, her favorite), Cathy was just effortlessly generous and wonderful. I was very disappointed. I walked in for a simple get well arrangement. I wanted pink. She explained that they mostly had Christmas arrangements but did go to the back and brought out some half dead peach and lavender flowers. I waited to see what she would make anyway, because I had not really left time for a plan B. What she brought out was something I would have been humiliated to give so I walked out and went to Publix.
