Had an issue and the GM Sherry took care of it with absolute professionalism and expediency. Look forward to eating there again soon.

Service was meh. She kept walking right past us when we needed something. And the food was subpar. We will stick to bully's.

As local Sparks businesses become more corporate, you know that you're supporting someone who lives and works in the community that we love. She also owns and runs "The Ranchhouse" adjacent to P&I which she revitalized as a local destination for great musical guests. Both businesses have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's not a place where you are surrounded by random "barflies" who don't engage with others or bother you. It's friendly people, good drinks, great entertainment and even as a non-drinker, still a place to hang out with friends. It can get busy but you still won't feel "alone". Bounce between her adjacent establishments on a weekend during the shows or plant yourself in one spot and make some friends. Patrice will always make you feel like a friend she just hadn't met yet. And check out the decor! That's her too!

We only talked to him for a few minutes! There are still some really nice people in the world as Reno is having a horrible fire disaster!!! Our bartender is the best! He takes such good care of us! I would highly recommend signing up for the rewards program clover and you acquire points until you get to 100 and then you get $10 off your meal which we did today. The meal is only $6.50. How is this possible? Great people and great discounts!! One of my very favorite places to have a personal pizza & a couple of beers.

Hello Sparks, and more importantly, Jim Flanagan, the owner of Mamma Celeste's…read more I honestly don't know where to begin. We were seated at Mamma Celeste's with our children for dinner. After we had been seated for a while and had ordered our food and drinks, our waitress came over and asked whether our kids had touched a "ramekin." We had no idea what she was talking about. She pointed to a clear plastic lid sitting on the windowsill behind our bench seating and told us it contained fly poison and could make our children sick. The lid was actually on the ground. As a parent, I immediately wanted to know exactly what product and active ingredient we were dealing with so I could contact Poison Control. While our children washed their hands, the staff brought me the bottle and said they would get the manager. The manager initially would not address me, so I asked who the manager was and eventually spoke with her. I asked why pesticide was being placed in open, accessible areas on the windowsills directly behind seating where children could easily reach it. Her response was essentially that most kids just sit and eat their food. I asked whether she had children. She said yes. I asked her, as a parent, how she would feel if her children were sitting at a restaurant and staff had placed pesticide within their reach without informing the parents. At that point, our food had just arrived, but I was no longer comfortable eating it. I told her very clearly that I wanted the pesticide removed from areas accessible to children. I ended up addressing the restaurant because I felt other parents needed to know what was sitting within reach of their children. I'm disappointed with how the situation was handled by management, but ultimately, the responsibility for how pest-control products are placed in a restaurant falls on the owner Jim. I have contacted the health department because I believe this needs to be investigated. Regardless of whether anyone actually touched the product, I cannot understand why a pesticide would be placed on windowsills directly behind occupied seating where children can access it. Parents should be able to take their children to a restaurant without having to worry about whether pest-control chemicals are sitting within arm's reach. Please share this so other parents are aware. I hope the owner takes this seriously. ** I appreciate your response, Jim, but I do want to clarify one important point because your response makes it sound as though I came in expecting a free meal because I was a Hawk Fire evacuee. That is not what happened. I did not come there looking for a free meal, and I certainly did not expect one. When the issue with the pesticide exposure occurred, we had not even eaten our food. Our children had eaten their pizza, but we adults had not eaten ours. When we were refused a replacement/refund for the food we had not eaten, I said that I was a Hawk Fire evacuee and had already been extremely stressed and displaced from my home. I said, essentially, that if the business wasn't going to make things right regarding the food, then the meal could at least be considered a gesture for everything we had already been going through. That was not the reason we came in, and it was not something I demanded beforehand. My concern was the pesticide exposure and the fact that a bottle of pesticide was accessible in the circumstances I described. Saying that the product is safe when dry does not address my concern about how it was handled or the fact that my children were present. I posted the picture so other customers could make their own informed decisions. I am glad you have explained your position, but I don't want the circumstances surrounding the meal or our status as evacuees to be misrepresented. We were already going through an incredibly stressful time being displaced from our home. We simply wanted to eat a meal with our children and leave safely. We did not come looking for anything for free.

First time stopping by in quite a while. It is World Cup season, and I had hoped that Ole Bridge…read morestill had some of the magic I remember. And glad to say, that in my experience, this is still the closest we have in Reno to a "soccer bar". This has always been a great spot. Small, yes, but in that casual, intimate, easy-going way that has a lot of charm. Lots of hard-wood finishes, barstools, and TVs to catch what's on. And at time of writing, totally overflowing with futbol energy. There are a good number of bar spaces, tables, and outside seating overlooking the river, which is a BIG draw. The beer selection here is great, both on tap and in cansor bottles. But they also have a decent full-barselection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Plus, a decent smattering of N/A options. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt. Though if there are big, crowded events (such as a game being on), you may have a little slowdown. Plus, the vibes here are just fantastic. The location also cannot be beat, as it is ell placed to enjoy the riverfront and explore more of the area. Though parking may be a bit tight, depending on where you park and what day or time it is. There is also no food options here, but there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. All in all, I am glad some of the energy I remember is still here. I will have to come back during MLS or Premier League matches to see how things stand. And with a soccer team HOPEFULLY returning to Reno, I definitely hope we can get the local supporters groups to return here, as well. Definitely a libation spot not to be missed. Cheers!
