    Breakfast Burrito
    Suzanne M.

Friends told us the Lucky's had a good breakfast and we were looking for something different and quick. We walked in around 10:00. It was empty. We asked if they were serving breakfast. Yes they were. The breakfast menu was small. It had the basics. We had coffee, the Denver omelet and breakfast burrito. Both came with potatoes. Decent food and price. It's a casino bar, a bit dark. Certainly this place has to be more lively around happy hour. Felt a bit strange to have the place to ourselves but we were happy. Sophie, our server was delightful.

Luckys was recently bought out by a new establishment and has undergone some happy hour and menu changes. Happy hour is now daily 5-7pm (only drinks, no food specials) and the menu has been shortened and looks different as well. Still a nice, calm neighborhood bar to experience and enjoy.

We are always looking for the chance to try something new. Have driven by this place on Prater many times and decided to try it for dinner. We walked in about 6:30pm on a friday and it wasn't crowded yet. Most of the people were seated at the bar, probably unwinding from work and on their way home. We sat ourselves on one of the elevated tables and since the menus are already at the table, we could look it over right away. I decided to order the Lucky's Cheesesteak and my wife ordered the fish sandwich and both with tossed green salad, dressing on the side. Both came out within 10 minutes and the presentation looked very appealing. The cheesesteak was hot, flavorful and tasty. The fish sandwich was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The salads were crispy as well as cold. At the time we were there, only one server was working but she was very friendly and didn't seem to be bothered that she was handling the whole room herself. We will be back.

Can't rate. Showed up at 9:45 to play some pool and the door was locked even though all posted hours say 24/7

Pool tables are available to play per hour in lieu of per game. Great atmosphere and great food.

Good service. Very friendly bartenders and waitresses. I wish they had better pool sticks for the pool tables.

We had a baseball tournament at Golden Eagle in Reno and went to Lucky's with the baseball team and parents.

And the hiring standards?…read more I used to frequent Twin Peaks weekly for a multitude of reasons - the wings are the best from a sports bar in Reno, the ICE cold beer, Whisky selection, the great service, and - of course - the atmosphere, but have minimized going to maybe once a month. TP Reno started off great. A great sports bar experience found in any of their locations, nationwide. Now? The food quality is a roller coaster. Gone are the theme days/weekends outside of the way overdone cowboy/rodeo Fridays. Gone are the hiring standards - yes, corporate has standards set. If it were not for some (definitely not all) of the great servers/bar tenders - Danica, Willow, Lucci, Brooke and a couple of others - along with the ice cold beer, and all the TVs, TP Reno would be just another average sports bar... The owners need to step it back up, or this will be just another failed restaurant due to poor leadership.

Those girls must wear, if you call it, underwear or lingerie. Shane is the manager, a really nice, down-to-earth kind of guy. He runs a tight ship and knows his business like the back of his hand. The food is pretty good, affordable, and tasty. If a big game or sports event is scheduled to be televised, you won't be able to get near the place. So be prepared. Otherwise, the place is huge with plenty of seats. The food is always consistent, with many items from scratch. My suggestion is to give it a try. Whether by yourself or with a bunch of friends over some beers. Oh, by the way, it's got a huge bar surrounded by T.V.'s to kick back and watch your favorite event. Give it a try. You just might like the place.
