World Series 7 - Not busy at all. Ordered a 10 piece wing; They were SO Good and had the perfect crunch. I was offered two sauces and a side of fries, tots, sweet potato fries or onion rings. Also, ordered The Gilroy Pizza. Everything was DELICIOUS! The service was AH-MAY-ZING! Happy hour = 50% drinks off between 4pm-7pm. I had been wanting to try Lucky's since I loved here. There staffing is so inconsistent that you can never tell when they're going to have food or not. Showed up at 8 o'clock & the kitchen was closed. Not the first time it happened, it's happened on multiple occasions. But the bartenders are super nice and chill. If you don't care about food drink prices are decent and 2 happy hours!!! read more

I was pretty bummed that the Gyro was off the menu - but the Nashville Chicken Sammies was GREAT - cut in half with a side of the curly fries was enough for both of us. Friends told us the Lucky's had a good breakfast and we were looking for something different and quick. We walked in around 10:00. It was empty. We asked if they were serving breakfast. Yes they were. The breakfast menu was small. It had the basics. We had coffee, the Denver omelet and breakfast burrito. Both came with potatoes. Decent food and price. It's a casino bar, a bit dark. This place is always empty when you come in. I've tried it a few times before deciding to leave a review. Bartenders are not personalble, which may be the reason why there are no guest here. If you like to game, you'll more than likely be the only person gaming here. No matter how much money you lose, if you are not using a gaming card you will be charged for all of your drinks & meals even if it's an appetizer. Bartenders are not paying attention to the only 1 or 2 gaming patrons. I had high hopes for this place considering they are owned by PTs in Las Vegas. Save your time & money. Luckys was recently bought out by a new establishment and has undergone some happy hour and menu changes. Happy hour is now daily 5-7pm (only drinks, no food specials) and the menu has been shortened and looks different as well. Still a nice, calm neighborhood bar to experience and enjoy. read more

Very frustrating when online hours aren't accurate. I come in late for some food after driving 30 min out of my way and they tell me they just closed the kitchen. It would be nice to have the business hours actually accurate for when bar/food is actually closed. We are always looking for the chance to try something new. Have driven by this place on Prater many times and decided to try it for dinner. We walked in about 6:30pm on a friday and it wasn't crowded yet. Most of the people were seated at the bar, probably unwinding from work and on their way home. We sat ourselves on one of the elevated tables and since the menus are already at the table, we could look it over right away. I decided to order the Lucky's Cheesesteak and my wife ordered the fish sandwich and both with tossed green salad, dressing on the side. Both came out within 10 minutes and the presentation looked very appealing. The cheesesteak was hot, flavorful and tasty. The fish sandwich was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The salads were crispy as well as cold. At the time we were there, only one server was working but she was very friendly and didn't seem to be bothered that she was handling the whole room herself. Appreciate our panic when we learned Spiros had closed. It may not have been much to look at but the food was outstanding and they burned the proper cheese for their Saganaki. Welcome new owners to the old Spiros sports bar. For now the menu is the same, new menus due at the end of March '21. Same fantastic Greek selections that are currently in the top three for the Reno area. Staff is terrific and the crowd is small, for now. I did read online they identify as woman-led and are LGBTQ friendly. I intend to contact the new owners and learn more. More to come on this, for sure. In the meantime, we will be making more trips up here in fear of potential menu changes. 03/21 read more

Are you joking. This experience was such a joke. General manager comes up to us after 30 minutes of no service and says "You cant have more than 1 drink at the table". Really. Are we kids?? Explain this then. Explain the customer who has 2+ beers and we have none. Unbelievable. And to take 20 minutes to bring us our check. Priscilla is the general manager and Lily is the bartender who continued to give us a snarky look. Grabbed drinks with friends at Lucky's this past Saturday. Service from Sophie was exceptional. Drinks were wet; we only had beer. Playing pool was not an enjoyable part of our visit. Your pool equipment needs updating. Broken pool cues, & tables that aren't in working order shouldn't be the experience for your guests. Clean bar, good crowd, fun atmosphere. read more

No star at all. We always went there for 3 years. It closed and re opened. There food before was out of the world and had specialty Greek dishes and a great happy hour. Excellent mozzarella. We went in looked the same got a menu very limited items and the great dishes were gone as well as having no happy hour on food. So we took a wing at it and ordered the 13$ nachos to start. They had one big party it took 30. Minutes to get them. Omg horror when it came to our table I've eaten out a lot and never seen anything like this. Maybe 15 colored chips the worst cheez wiz, ya guys cheez wiz like at a carnival, tiny amount of sour crème and of chili. Boz is THE MAN. Only reason we come back. As locals is hard to find a place to return and the night bartenders (Danny, Camille, and Boz) make it so nice and friendly! Highly recommend coming here as a local or if your visiting. read more

This is a solid spot for breakfast for us. They serve other meals but for for us breakfast is it. My husband and my son like classic eggs over easy, a meat side and potatoes and this delivers a solid plate with either ham or bacon at a simple price. The omelettes and scramble are simply solid too. I typically get eggs, avocado & bacon or ham. The servers are nice. This is no frills as it is a sports bar but when you don't want to do a breakfast place with a typical breakfast place wait this is a good spot. I was surprisingly impressed when my son brought me here about a year ago to try their gyro. There seems to be a lack of good Mediterranean food in our area. So I decided to give luckys a try. Omgosh. I was in heaven. Feed me a gyro every day and I'd be a happy girl. I called and was told they don't take orders over the phone however you can come in and order a to go up until 3 AM. But don't quote me on that. So I decided to drive over and order to go. I specifically requested no onion on the gyro. My only caveat was it had several onions when I returned home. I proceeded to remove the onion off of the sandwich. The order also came with a Mediterranean side salad. When I returned home, I dove directly to the salad, and oh my gosh it was on point. The cucumbers were fresh and crunchy. The tomatoes were sweet and delicious. The lightly sprinkled feta cheese was totally on point. My only caveat was I probably should have asked for the dressing on the side but otherwise it was fabulous. Once I completed consuming the salad I began to nosh on the gyro. I will my gosh it was totally amazing. The best gyro on the planet!! OK that might be a little too descriptive but to me it was fantastic. To complete my order was a regular size cup of iced tea with three slender slices of lemon. The bartender had asked me if I wanted sweetener and of course I said no thanks. The bar is trendy a company several wall-mounted TVs which is mostly sports usually every time I've been there. They also have several pool tables and if I'm not mistaken on Saturday open mic karaoke with a live DJ. And although I do not drink, they had a nice selection of draft beers I believe there are local breweries who participate in their bar products. It always seems friendly and a fun to bring several of your friends for a night out. read more

Decent bar, the interior is welcoming and spacious. They could use friendlier more attentive staff and maybe cleaner glasses. I came in with a couple friends from out of town, maybe that was the problem...in any event I think I'll try across the street at Flowing Tide to see if I get a warmer welcome. I tip well too and am friendly so if I have to search for decent customer service elsewhere, there is an issue, although perhaps it's this new generation and the fact that smiling at your customers may be a bit over the top as far as expectations for hospitality industry people in these times. read more

This is the old Spiro's bar and grill -- what an upgrade. The new owners have come in and done a fantastic job. Great food, TV's for sports everywhere and a really nice, open layout. Definitely going to be spending a lot of time down here during football season. One of the better sports bars in the area. read more
