Its hard to see the park from Mona Lisa Rd. It is located near the Magee intersection and on the West side of Mona Lisa Rd. The parking lot is huge for a park of this size. There are two restrooms and a water fountain. There is one very large soccer field and at least one ball diamond maybe two. Plenty of room to fly kites, run your dogs, etc. The playground is really small but very new, only 2-3 yrs old. There are no swings, but plenty of slides, a mini climbing wall and other climbing things to get up to the slides for the kids. And there is an exercise area. Two sets of overhead "monkey" bars for adults, three pull-up bars, two sit-up benches and three balance beams.

After a few laps around the dog park, we walked the trail around the park. This was nice aside from the rattlesnake near the path -- yikes! Luckily it was early morning enough that I don't think it would have really done any harm but definitely keep an eye out if you go. The park is cute too with a large children's play area. There's something for everyone and even in the hot summer months there was a good crowd here.

There really are multiple perspectives to look at when I was writing this review…read more From a human perspective, this park is easily accessible and spacious. A quick walk from the parking lot and you and your best friend can make or meet a buddy. The paths are well maintained, there is plenty of shade, and there are many places to sit. From a canine perspective there are always water bowls handy (just in case your owner forgot yours), balls that can be used for a game of catch, and plenty of open space to run. Doggy bags are also available to clean up after your pet and the park is usually buzzing with dogs and their owners. This park is a great place to bring your canine friend and many times there are sports going on so that you can catch a peek of a game. Overall great park, well maintained, and a great place to spend some quality time with your buddy.

I'm a pretty obsessive dog mom of my 10 month old puppy Buford (short of taking him everywhere I…read morego). My husband and I have had a really good experience taking him to Dogs of Tucson. He has been going for about 6 months. We are members of the dog park (reflecting a majority of our experience). We also have used the daycare service. I truly appreciate the fact that Buford has a place that he can go play where everyone has been temperament tested. Plus, they take steps to separate dogs who just don't get along. Buford always has a lot of fun. He gets to run and wrestle and play (with boundaries that are enforced, which helps in his ever evolving quest to be the goodest boy). The place is constantly being cleaned, which is also amazing. All of my interactions with the staff have been positive. And Buford likes everyone. I've had a really good experience taking our pup there and would highly recommend it.
