I'm a fan of Level Four, but I don't feel qualified to say they're the best in the business, though they are certainly the best I've encountered in my limited experience. Level Four has actual metrics they use to make their recommendation whereas their competition (specifically: Cranial Technologies, Inc) seems to make their recommendations based on feelings and assumptions. Though my assessment may not be valid, Level Four seems to have a much more accurate and quantitative system of evaluation which provides ratios and percentages and uses fancy math to describe the symmetry of a child's head while the other place took a neat 3D picture and pointed to parts of his skull saying things like; "that looks a little uneven there" and "that probably won't correct as he gets older." Level Four's pricing is almost half of what the other place charges for what appears to be a nearly identical product, but I feel like Level Four does a better job evaluating and they were not pushy at all. At Cranial Technologies, Inc, I felt a little pressured to proceed with treatment though they were very nice. Level Four's office was not as fancy as Cranial Technologies, but it was clean and the office staff was friendly - we felt very comfortable and the man that evaluated my boy was super gentle, very genuine and likable. In the end, Level Four said that my son does not need to use a band - his symmetry is not perfect, but it is extremely good, nothing abnormal and will improve as he develops.

It is off University Blvd. This location is right off of the 205B exit on I-26. On the first day, I had an assessment. Megan, the person I worked with, put me through many different tests and asked me how dizzy or off balanced these tests made me feel. She also was checking my heart rate a lot. She asked me many questions about my symptoms, and asked what the doctors have been saying. She seemed to genuinely want to help me. We scheduled 5 future appointments that first day. It's nice to be able to plan in advance. They are open Monday-Friday. So no weekend appointments. Every appointment, Megan would give me homework to do. This would consist of different exercises. Some were like workouts at the gym, others were more like just turning your head side to side while you stand like you're on a balance beam (but you're not) - this was hard for me. They have this big machine there that's pretty cool. You stand in it and it tests your balance. They go through a few different tests, some where the ground you stand on moves, others where the walls move, etc. At the end, the results tell you how off balanced you are, which way you lean, and how you compare to others. Overall, this was a good experience. It's a lot like physical therapy but for people who are off balanced. I loved my physical therapist. She was so nice and caring. I would highly recommend this place.

Finding a family doctor can be so frustrating, but I am so glad I found this office. They are part…read moreof MUSC, which is great. I like that they are a part of it because I don't need to worry about updating my information with each individual office or location I go to- they already have it! I get all of my tests, xrays, etc done through an MUSC location. Their online portal is really helpful and easy to use. The doctors at this site are awesome- they truly care about you and will do any and everything to get to the bottom of your issue. The front office staff are all so friendly and helpful from making the appointment, to checking in/out and with any billing questions you have later on. They always get me in as soon as possible, I never have to wait to be seen. No issue is too small to be seen.
