Dr McCord is a multi generational podiatry specialist who is a physician first who also has his specialty in podiatry. However, if you have problem feet, Dr Woodle is a great place to get some help. I thought I had plantar warts on my feet, turns out they were basically a callous problem. I also have a toenail that is very malformed (pincer) and it's just kind of UGLY. Dr Woodle was gentle, friendly, and funny! I got a ton of great info and he shaved down the calloused area a bit to relieve the pressure. I got to bring in an assortment of my shoes, too...and we discussed how shoes affect life. And how life affects feet. I highly recommend this Dr for your feet. Do they need some love? How is YOUR life going? Love your feet! Go see Dr Woodle. Well they did an xray and seems foot not broken…read more I am the 3rd person I now know who has been here and will not be returning. Too start, assistant was sick without a mask on. This is not acceptable in a Doctors office. Next, xray and no other thing, just leave an wait and see if ankle gets better. No mention of PT or if not better in xyz weeks, maybe an MRI or something. No just come back if you are still in pain. Not sure why, oh yes so I can be billed for that next referral to the MRI or something. I really hate that waste of time. I cannot just take more time to come in and here, yea we cannot help without more information so go here and then come back again. I will just be calling my primary and figuring it out. Just not pleased with this clinic unfortunately.

In long 6 months ago, my lovely bride had a massive stroke. She's lucky to be here, but her mobility is still heavily impaired. She spent a month in IPR, which is available at only 5 places in the state. Coincidentally enough, there's a brand-new one a mile from our house, and she made a bunch of progress there. After that, they referred her for home health PT, OT, and speech therapy. She went from 15 sessions a week to about 4, and her progress slowed down. We found out about Swedish's program and signed her up. It took a couple months to get in, but she's off and running now. They help her a lot! She gets stretched some days in PT, some days she does strength and balance exercises. In OT, she does coordination exercises and works on getting control back over her left arm. They push her to the point of exhaustion and frustration regularly, but she keeps coming back for more. It's easier now than it was before the incident to frustrate and tire her, anyway, and she needs tens of thousands of reps to get her arm and leg back to being more functional. She has worked with different therapists depending on when they have appointments available. Everybody is smart and professional and motivating. Nobody can match the positivity and encouragement of the PTs and OTs she had in IPR, but those places will tend to draw in good talent. We do have a copay here, and home health was fully covered. It's worth the cost. Scheduling has to be done manually over the phone. Half of the desk staff is awesome, positive, and proactive. The other half is a mixed bag--y'know, the kind of people who think they're surrounded by idiots and never get enough credit. But on their good days, even they can be super helpful and even kinda pleasant. I'm glad we got in here, even if I'm not glad we needed it.

Not only do they help with pain short term, in my case they diagnosed what was causing my chronic back pain and have taught me the tools to manage myself. At the age of 27 I used to be in pain every day, it was terrible, and now at 37 I hadn't seen them in 3 years and am feeling great. Recently saw Ed for some knee pain and haven't been bothered by it since going in 6 weeks ago. Awesome, as always!
