Weird I've been getting my har cut for many years and perhaps I've had one bad experience. But today breaks that . My stylist asked me how high I wanted my fade and I told her "as high as possible" but she argued and said she couldn't fade it that way. Then her equipment broke and she had to borrow someone else's. Then she was bumping / hacking at my head. Finally I noticed the lines on the sides. One sloped down and the other was curved. I asked her to stop so she called over the manager who held up a comb over the hair line and said "see it's straight" to which I retorted " yes it's straight.., the COMB is straight . Maybe I should as being punked and Ashton Kusher shrunk but that was plain weird !!!! read more

i'm very picky when it comes to cutting my hair. had the same barber for 13 years and had to change shops and was very nervous going in but Ricky did amazing the last time i was here and i was influenced to come back again and he was phenomenal again! not only is he professional the environment in the shop is very friendly and that always makes coming to a new place that much better! if you haven't come here yet your missing out seriously they know what they're doing and will get you right! I would give this place no stars if it were an option. I took my 8yr old son there to get a fade and was told that every working barber could cut his type of hair. A heavy-set stylist with glasses, her name "Samantha," saw my son and told the receptionist that she doesn't cut "ethnic hair." I was baffled and offended because there were ethnic pictures on the wall, and told that every working barber that day could cut his type of hair. Without even looking at my son's hair, I felt she discriminated against him. I'm very disappointed in the treatment and unprofessionalism of this place and Samantha. I came into Floyd's sort of nervous about cutting it all off, but Ms. Courtney, who was my stylist, made my entire trip there absolutely fantastic. I scheduled for everything I could. To be honest I just really wouldn't recommend this location. It's extremely disappointing to be sat down and asked what you want and then to just get something completely different. I was very specific about what I wanted, a 2 on my sides, and maybe just an inch off the top but mostly keep the length, and I basically left with a completely different hairstyle that's much shorter than what I had asked for. I'm about to go on an important trip and now i'm feeling unconfident because the barber couldn't just take a second longer to listen care a little more. read more

My new go to. I walked in after having my first ever genuinely bad hair cut next door. They fixed my beard trim. Took their time. Made sure everything was even and taken care of. Shaved my face and neck and back of my neck. When it was time to leave they apologized for my poor experience next door and took exceptionally good care of me. Definitely my least favorite Floyd's location. Seems some of the barbers/stylists are phoning it in and don't really care. The basic level of friendliness was lacking. The massage wasn't offered, there was no check in to see if I was satisfied with my haircut, and the haircut itself was bad (uneven side burns and uneven length of hair all around!). Instead, she simply took off the bib without checking and said "ok, thanks for coming in." All in under 15 minutes. I won't be returning to this location. read more

This Barbershop has gone way down hill. I finally found a hairdresser that I liked at this location, and have been coming regularly for the past year. So many stylists quit this establishment that it is obvious that it is mismanaged. There is regularly a 2+ day wait to get a reservation with my preferred stylist. Today when I showed up for my 11:30 appointment I was somewhat greeted by a grumpy rude older lady and made aware that they seated the wrong person for my appointment and I could come back at 4. No thanks. What happened to the young happy receptionist, great music, and hopping work environment? I get that mistakes happen, but there are way more negatives than that going on at this barbershop! read more

Fairly new to the area and I went in and asked if they were comfortable/capable in cutting my African-American son's hair. The two ladies said yes. I explained that I did not want someone who did not have experience and was assured the barber was comfortable. My son (16) went back, showed the style and was assured the barber, Lydia, could do the style. It took over an hour for her to complete the style and when finished, she takes out her phone and started photographing him. He was never given a mirror to see the back and when turned around he was so upset, but is so loving and respectful that he said it was ok, paid and left. I get pictures and not only was the style not what was pictured, but my son has plugs in the back of his hair, the is no even fade, one side is lower than the other, the front is not edged up, the back is cut lower than picture shown, and his side burns were basically cut completely off minus the area where his mask was...of which she did not move to cut his hair. I called back to the shop and spoke with a manger by the name of Tina. I was not rude in any way in stating my concern but became anger when instead of taking responsibility for the barber's mishaps, Tina tells me that my son was accepting of the haircut and should have had someone there for guidance. What guidance does he need when a picture of the style was shown. Then she lied and said my son was asked if he could be photographed and agreed. I was offered to bring my son back in....uhhh NO, or receive a refund. I told her I would take the full refund and asked about time they closed. She said she would do the refund to the card charged within 24 hrs and it would take 7-10 business days. In 2020?!?! I asked since when does it take that long to do a refund...and why, if you are there now, would it take her 24hrs to get to? She repeated that and then went back into my son having guidance in the shop. I was really angry now because this young man has been getting his haircut for almost two decades and always takes a picture in. I have not accompanied him for years, but what does that have to do with this barber leaving plugs, not edging up, and not doing the style she said she could do. It would have been fine it they would have apologized, refunded and let it be that, but how do you get arrogant, and loud because your barber messed up someone's hair. Yes, by this time I spoke over her and told her that her barber needed guidance, not my son! I don't know how well they do hair, but their customer service and remorse for their mess up was 0! For this reason they will never get a recommendation or another penny from us! I had to take my son to another barber to fix what this lady, Tina did to my son's head. He now has to pay to also fix his facial hair because she cut the side burns down and left a horizontal line where the side burns was connected to the lower facial hair. read more

Well I had a 9:30 appointment and when I got there at 9:20 the door was locked and there was a sign on the door that said new hours 10-8 on Wednesday. Hmm weird how'd I make a 9:30 appointment then. Figured they never updated on website, things happen I understand. But when I got there at 10 they said they've been open since 9. Umm what the what?!? It was locked at 9:20 how where we supposed to get in then. She says oh I'm sorry I must have still been opening up when you came by. If you open at 9 how are you still opening up at 9:20. I saw you at the front desk when I came by to get in. You could of told me you'd be a few more minutes? Definitely the best barbershop I've been to for a while. They respected the safety of their customers by cleaning the seats and making sure to use hand sanitizer and disinfectant on all their tools. Lydia gave me a super clean skin fade and threw in a warm towel and a massage with it and I only paid 30$. Money well spent. Will be back as a regular! read more

Your millennial a*s wasn't even born the last time a Rock n Roll song was written or recorded, so get over yourself. Floyd's is Supercuts with a tattoo. Now that is established, it's my own damn fault for setting foot in this shop but I just moved from LA and need a haircut and haven't met anyone groovey yet, so I had to make do. My guy, Justin was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to, however, those qualities don't cut hair. I showed a photo of my own hair in which he didn't bother to look at, and I showed him the letter with specific instructions from stylist in LA. He completely disregarded all. If you care about your hair, by all means go to Floyd's at your own risk. Absolutely ruined my hair. This place may be good for men's or kids hair but if you gab me long hair that's layered, stay away. I showed the hairstylist the cut I wanted and she went as far away from it as she could. I wanted to end up with shoulder length trim and she cut it to below my chin! I told her I have to be able to pull it up for work and she said ok but continued to chop it off. I eventually told her to stop so I could save what was left. I booked my appointment early in the morning for today to get a Floyd's cut. I drove 25mins to get there(my problem not theirs) I arrived 10mins early. When I finally was seen I was told she couldn't cut my hair because what I asked for she couldn't do in 30mins and to come back another day. I wasn't told my hairstyle which I always get would take longer than 30mins until now. I've gotten my hair cut here before with the same style nothing changed but this experience was the worst. How am I supposed to know my haircut will take 45mins not 30mins which is what I was told. I won't be back because of the lack of customer service I experienced. read more
