Dove's has serviced both of our family vehicles in the last several months--we depend on these cars daily and Jesse went above and beyond to make sure both were back on the road safely, promptly and most importantly repaired correctly. I am knowledgeable about cars and handy with a wrench, but don't have the time or tools needed for many jobs. After encountering dishonesty and incompetence at several other shops--especially the dealerships--I was elated to find someone like Jesse to work on our cars. It is evident that he comes to work, not solely because he has to, but because he has a passion for his work and cares about his customers. Our hearts are broken over the tremendous loss of Elvin. Calvin stepped up to the plate and hasn't missed a beat. A few examples of their exemplary services - Our daughters car broke down leaking fluid all over the Carlisle Pike and Calvin came in clutch with the rollback and towed her car immediately to their shop. What we were expecting to hear was that the transmission was done, but after careful review it was actually a connecting piece that rusted out. Within 2 business days her car was fixed and back on the road. Our other daughters car kept throwing the service engine soon light. Calvin completed his research and quickly determined the root cause. The fix was completed the next business day and the car runs beautifully. With my nonexistent mechanical…read morebackground (thank you, Google and YouTube), I diagnosed the issue as bad wheel sensors, which would have cost me around $500 to replace. Before I could even start, the clutch went out. Using my "expert investigative skills," I assumed it was the master or slave cylinder. After a sleepless night trying to figure it out, I decided it was time to leave the repairs to an expert. My son's wrestling coach recommended Wiltech, which is only about 15 minutes from my house. I called a few other shops first, but they all said they couldn't even look at the Jeep for 4-5 days. Wiltech, however, told me to tow it in the same day. I wasn't expecting them to get to it immediately, but later that Monday they called to let me know that both of my diagnoses were wrong (heartbreaking, LOL). They also told me they could have it done by midweek, or at the latest by the end of the week. By Friday, everything was completed and ready to go. The customer service was excellent, the price was more than fair, they kept me informed, and they finished the repairs exactly when they said they would. They offered to pull my car in and put my spare on and were so kind. I paid $15 for their service, which was a small price to pay that I didn't have to wait for AAA to show up. They were kind and recommended I get rear tire checked also since I also scuffed it up when I blew the other tire. If you are ever near there shop, watch the curb if you are making a turn from Market Street to Lisburn, hit the curb flattened my tire and thank goodness Snavely and Son Automotive were nearby and helped.
