new to the area I blew a tire on 83 last night I had a great guy helped me get a dummy tire in and yelp said tires here all these great reviews must be family and friends because I came here and waited 20 mins then a guy came in said I can drop off my car, for a tire??? he then says they don't stock them in shop like they have in Yelp. after explaining I can't just leave my car in a single person I don't really know anyone and when asked well can you tell me where I can go he's like I don't know this area either haha maybe tires plus pep boys... smh I'd say the most honest reviews was the ones saying the kid sheugging his shoulders just saying I don't know is right! unless you can drop off your car for a whole day or days this wouldn't be the place for you and from what I saw they stock nothing in shop.... Randy and his crew are honest mechanics. I have been going to Randy's for over a decade, and after my warranty with my car dealership ran out, I returned to his shop. As a single woman and mom, it is a relief to have a trusted mechanic. He kept my 15 year old over 150,000+ Saturn going until I could afford a new car. He tells you what your car needs when it needs it, gives you advice if you have questions or concerns, and he tries his very best to schedule you in a timely manner-even though his shop is always busy. Tammy, at his front desk is also very friendly and will make you feel very welcome if you have to wait or just need to call the office. I had two flat tires on my snowblower in the middle of a snow storm. This was the only open shop in town and they took the time to immediately fix the tires. I had forgotten my wallet so I made an appointment to have my oil changed in my Honda Civic and they agreed to accept payment for both after the oil change. I was shocked when I picked up my car to lear that an oil change with convnetional oil was nearly $50 including taxes. Even worse, most of the oil ended up in my driveway in a matter of days. I parked the car until warmer weather and when I went to discover the source of the leak, it quickly became obvious that the threads in the oil pan were loose/stripped and that the oil was flowing out at that location. It was impossible to fully tighten the plug. It seems impossible to me that a qualified technician would miss something this obvious. The entire crew reflects Randy's character. When your vehicle in service they check all the things that we don't take time to check. They doesn't fix things that don't need fixed. Everyone takes time to listen to your issues and make suggestions how they may help. I know I could get an oil change in less time and for less money but here I don't have to worry about what condition my vehicle will be in when it is completed. For example, will the drain plug be reinstalled correctly, will it be the correct oil, will my car be soiled from the mechanic, will the car receive body damage during the maintenance.
