Ok its been 3 weeks since my service and I'm now a customer for life. My friend's lashes looked incredible and she recommended Dominique so I immediately made an appointment. I was excited but didn't expect mine to turn out that well since I have pretty short, straight, and light colored lashes to start with. I've had lash lift & tint by someone else in the past and it didn't impress me at all, there wasn't much difference and it went away after a few times getting them wet. I was neutral about how it would turn out but the price was very reasonable so I thought why not try. Well Im so glad I did! The salon was very clean, all staff were kind and professional. I've been here I think 3 times now For a regular lash lift which I get pretty frequently lots of different places depending on my schedule and where I'm at. This last visit has been very disappointing as my lashes on my right but ESPECIALLY my left eye got singed. I let my lashes grow out of my previous lift a full 8 weeks and had all new long growth from a serum I've used and oils I use on my lashes. It f*cking sucks to not have someone tell you either that they burned your lashes. I have hard l shapes lashes spread throughout my eyes; it's absolutely unbelievable. My lift was with Dominique who I think is the owner? I think personally you leave it on for way too long. I've had many lifts where my lashes were permed sufficiently in 5 to 6 minutes per application. It's honestly something that continually bothers me because my mascara takes me longer than it should with a lift and by the time this grows out itll be time for a lift again. read more

Got my eyelash lift done here! Their COVID procedures made me feel safe and the place is super clean. Before the procedure began, the technician explained the size of the curler she was using and what shape she expects my eyelashes to look like afterwards. I've been to Eye Do Lashes 3 or 4 times now for lash lifts/perms. The first few times were great; they went above and beyond to make sure my lashes were as curled as I wanted, so I kept going even though I moved to the WeHo. But this last time I went was different. My technician was clearly very busy (she did my eyelashes while also acting as the reception), and the end results show it. About a third of my lashes on each eye aren't curled, there're a few lashes on each eye with severe bends in them, and there is a small clump on my right eye that are all crooked and tangled and one even goes sideways. I'd hate to stop going there based off of one bad experience when I've had multiple other good experiences, especially since it's one of the least expensive places in town, but this was not so good. read more

Just got my lashes done here and I'm very impressed and happy with how my lashes turned out. They listened and will ask what desired look you want to achieve & you will be happy with the results :) I'm asian so my lashes are super straight and short and I asked to have them a bit more fuller and longer with some curl (a more natural every day look). My sister and I both went to get our lashes permed about 3 weeks ago. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time. Its a bit freaky keeping your eyes shut for about 40 minutes but after a while I was napping. Also the product she puts on your lashes smells like strong hair removal cream but its definitely worth it. Once my lashes were done I was pretty happy about how they looked, but I told myself I wouldn't pay to get them done again... Totally changed my mind later because they stay curled forever. I wash my face a lot during the day and they are still up there! I put mascara once and they looked sooo nice. If you are someone that wears makeup daily, you will most definitely notice how amazing they look with just a bit of mascara. No need to use an eyelash curler either. Don't expect your lashes to be as amazing as the before and afters images that are posted here because everyones lashes are different. My sister had a bunch of missing lashes prior to the lash perm, so hers didn't look so lifted, but once she put mascara on, they looked amazing. I've been a regular client of Eye Do Lashes since late Dec 2010 and I WILL NOT QUIT YOU! Previous to EDL I was a regular at the MAC counter for falsies, tried mink lashes that cost an arm + leg (and were awful), tried a couple other lash studios (and ruined my lashes, honestly), but was never happy. I finally tried EDL for NYE 2011 and was so thrilled at how full, beautiful, luxurious and still natural looking my lashes were (I didn't expect how amazingly full they were going to be based on my last experiences)! I always receive compliments on my lashes - even when it's due for a fill! Since then, I rarely have used mascara (and would even discourage this!) and don't really need eye makeup for the daily. My lashes speak for themselves. I mean... I did meet my current husband January 6 2011 (a week after my first set)... coincidence?? ;) EDL has consistently been a pampering, privileged service that I have and will continue to prioritize into my schedule. I have commuted years from Ventura County (Moorpark), and now from Orange County to make sure I continue this service with only the best. My lashes are always healthy and gorgeous. I have never left unhappy + have been very pleased w/all three of the lovely lash technicians: Bennett, Seta and Rose. They are all extremely professional and A+mazing. SETA has been by lash technician for several years now. I trust her completely with my eyes/lashes and she's become a wonderful friend as well. Seta has always been honest with me w/what my lashes may or may not need (lashes do cycle, and sometimes a little less lashes may be necessary to have them last longer; etc). I would much rather have a trusted, honest technician - than not. Seta has kept my lashes healthy and full for YEARS of lashes - that's a lot to say - as some services destroy your natural lashes. Not only are my lashes beautiful: full, natural, healthy + glorious; the service is incomparable (always professional, polite, accommodating, honest, relaxing, etc) - but the price is amazing. I have been to Beverly Hills (as well as other locations) and their prices are not only at least double, but their lashes are so disappointing. Back to the relaxing part - probably the first year I would do my lashes, I would sleep through the whole session. EDL makes the setting so comfortable and relaxing, you can't help but snooze! I have had my eye lashes done at other places, in the past, where I would be cringing with pain and praying for the process to be over. The whole experience at EDL is second to none. I am a lifetime client + highly encourage any of my friends/family to EDL with the highest referral. I do also want to note they have an amazing hairstylist: Dominique that also works there - highly recommend her for anything hair (her work is so beautiful + fresh!) and lash curls/perms. Check out her work!! You will seriously not regret it. I really feel like EDL is a secret gem in Los Angeles and am so lucky to have discovered her. Also a tip: because EDL is top of the line - I encourage you to plan ahead + make an appointment in advance as they are extremely busy (as any great establishment would be). Her time slots get filled up pretty quickly so I would recommend making your appointment a week ahead of time. The lash lift is $60 and the appointment lasts about an hour. My lash lift usually lasts me around 5 weeks before they're flat again. They look really good and lifted the first couple of weeks, after that they gradually start to go back down. Nice people but both Seta and her mom don't appear to be very experienced at lash extensions. Each time I went there, I had a very bad experience. The first two times the lashes fell off within a week or so and this last time, my lashes were glued on so heavily, I literally couldn't open or close my eyes without them hurting. Like my eyes actually hurt. I've been other places and have never experienced this. Sucks because I was hopeful about this place but won't be going back. read more
