The FLWR Shop is a true East Nashville gem. We stopped in for my birthday and the staff was so incredibly welcoming. They walked me through all of my options: I could build a bouquet, they could build me a bouquet, or I could purchase one of their many potted plants. When I chose to build my own, he explained each stem and its price. The owner cares a lot about flowers, it was evident in speaking with the workers. They try to buy local, but obviously during the winter the stock becomes limited and they will source from elsewhere. Each flower has a story and I appreciated hearing its journey. If you're really into flowers, ask about the cacti! They are truly fascinating and their stock is fantastic. This is your one stop for flowers, don't even try to go elsewhere. I received some simply gorgeous flowers for my birthday from FLWR. I have some previous experience working in the world of floral and event design and am familiar with flowers and arrangements. Usually, what you get from the 1-800 flower place you can order online is less than ideal, overpriced, and underwhelming. This is not what you get when you order an arrangement from FLWR. I received gorgeous white dahlias, deep violet anemones, grey brunia berries, and an assortment of lush greens. I loved the shape and style of the arrangement and how impeccably beautiful the blooms were. You can tell it was arranged with skill and by someone who has a passion for flowers. As a father, I wanted the best for my one and only daughter's wedding, and I received it with FLWR Shop! Helping my daughter plan her wedding in Nashville while I am living in Arizona had its challenges. When a close friend in the music industry (it's Nashville, I think everyone there is in the industry) received the invitation to my daughter's wedding, she actually called me and asked if I had chosen who was going to do the flowers. I did the initial call and talked to Alex (I found out later she and her husband Quinn own the FLWR Shop, absolutely great people!) and we had a high-level discussion about what my daughter wanted. After I talked with Alex, I knew they were perfect for the job and I told my daughter about them and she contacted Alex to discuss the details for the big day. Alex is a true professional. Once my daughter provided details of what she wanted to do, Alex provided excellent insight in order to help my daughters vision become reality. Alex provided the all the right information and options in order for my daughter to make the right decisions and finalize all the details for exactly what she wanted. The day of the wedding, everything was flawless and beautiful. Each one of the flowers, bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres were all perfect. The flowers I received were half dead at best. Very unfortunate as it would have been a beautiful arrangement had it been fresh, which I'm sure is what was ordered. Fresh flowers are my absolute favorite gift to receive, and I was extremely disappointed in this arrangement. A great experience. I'm in California and was having flowers delivered to my daughter (who gave birth to her first child) at a midtown Nashville hospital. The reviews on Yelp indicated that this was my type of business. I called them out if the blue at 9AM their time and by 2PM my daughter had a gorgeous arrangement that impressed all who saw it. I was trying to blindly send a housewarming plant in a city I don't know anything about. I didn't want the "same old same old" as big floral chains. I spoke with a gentleman that suggested a ZZ plant, after hearing I needed something cat friendly. I greatly appreciated his breadth of knowledge and the time he took to make sure to describe the planter and explain how it would look. You could tell he has style! This shop is just gorgeous! I popped in after seeing some of their flowers on display at Hey Rooster a couple months back. We had a small budget to work with, as we were just picking up a couple impromptu bouquets for my daughter to deliver to a coupe friends. They were very friendly and still gave us excellent treatment including a beautiful small bouquet and gift wrap job despite our probably much smaller than normal budget walking in. I really, REALLY wanted to love this shop because I'm a huge fan of their Instagram posts. I decided to try them and send flowers to my daughter and gave my budget of $75 for the flowers only (they assured me that would be enough bc I asked since I wanted them to be pretty and was willing to pay more). I paid that and for delivery so I think my total was around $100. When I got home to see what had been delivered I was disappointed as they were pretty basic, and not stylish like the IG designs I had seen, but my daughter was happy so that is what mattered to me. The biggest bummer was that they were well cared for but died within 2 days. Hopefully this was just a fluke because I think I would still give them another shot before I give up and move onto another company. read more

I came in the shop and was greeted by a woman who asked me what I was looking for and what my budget was. I told her my budget and she proceeded to put a bouquet together. When I go to pay she says "oh it looks like WE went a little over budget." First of all, there is no WE. She made the arrangement, she knew what she was doing (or so I would hope, she's the florist after all...)
