But to charge trusting patrons for quality theater at an iconic theatre and then force them to watch a juvenile production of Elf was not fun to experience. The singing was bad. Only 2 actresses were standout. It was a tough watch. Many people in front of us left after intermission. A tough watch. A tough price. It has shaken my trust of local theatre and I'd be extremely weary of another Egyptian Theatre production before visiting again.

Being tall, I made sure to sit on the end of the row. But I will say, I thought the seating to be more comfortable than I anticipated. I didn't drink, but got a soda which was $3. I didn't think that was awful given I was in a theatre AND I was in Park City. The only downside was the pre-show which began with them asking for money. I assume this is because most folks are locals and they are a non-profit. All wonderful things, but it felt super salesly and honestly, I didn't come for a sales pitch I just wanted to hear some great live music, which fortunately I did.

Stadium like seating and impeccably crafted to be the showcase for the new ATMOS system, this place is the bomb. Sundance is still getting the hang of running big crowds through here, but they'll get it together considering they got the occupancy permit the day before the festival. Right now, it is only open during Sundance so if you don't have tickets, you'll have to wait for next year, but Larry sure they will not let this outstanding venue lie fallow for long. My 4 year old has been dancing with Elite for over a year and she loves it. Elite is a great studio…read morethat really cares about the girls. The teachers are great and we especially love Elisa. She has the patience of a saint teaching tap and ballet to 3-4 year olds. My favorite part of the year are the two performances and watching the little ones glow with pride when they are dancing on stage. I went in and spoke with the owner and knew right away this was the studio for us. The owner and her teachers are amazing, they don't tolerate "mean girls" and my girls have always felt loved when they are dancing. The studio offers jazz, hip hop, ballet, tumbling, Company teams etc so my girls have been able to try everything. My oldest tried a year at Tanner Dance with a friend and the whole time complained and wanted to go back to Elite. My girls have learned flexibility, amazing technique, self esteem and the art of performing. We love all the teachers. Jill has been with my girls from the beginning, she is a fabulous teacher. Shannon has also been fantastic. It's in a great location, you can drop off your kids and run to the grocery store, wash your car or pop into Caputo's! The owner and staff have always been available to address any questions I have and go the extra mile to ensure my daughter is the best dancer she can be. I'm looking forward to another six years at Elite!
