Known locally as the Little Goat, this cute little coffee shop is located in the CVS shopping center, at the opposite end. There was previously a larger Flying Goat location...hence the Little. There are a few outdoor seats, no indoor seats currently. Dogs are allowed inside and my pup LOVES their freshly baked dog biscuits, made with peanut butter, molasses, and a few other human-grade ingredients. The dog biscuits are what brought us in. While there I grabbed a latte for myself. Good but a tad bitter for me. Next time I might opt for a sweeter Bangkok beverage. And I need to try their delicious-looking savory scone! The new, larger Flying Goat reopened TODAY in its new location 3 blocks south: across from the Plaza at the corner of Center and Matheson. Excited to check that out soon.

I was excited to check out a new coffee spot while I was in town. Unfortunately, I couldn't get passed the poor customer service/attitude I received from the barista when I asked a question. I'll give them 3 stars for offering compostable, and organic high quality products. Coffee was just okay. I too was expecting friendly smiling faces as mentioned a by another customer. However, the cashier and other staff member were friendly. I won't visit them again :(

4.5 solid "new" coffee shop in Healdsburg the Aztec mocha I ordered was tasty w/ spiced chocolate definitely different for a morning "coffee". Cute shop with whole bean coffee and pastries for sale

I recommend Flying Goat (not JUST) because they have this cool mechanism I've NEVER seen, but EVERY baked goods/pastry shop should HAVE!!! It's like a mini turbine or windmill propeller thing to keep flies away from the delectable baked goods. ALL OTHER SHOPS take notice - it really sucks as a customer to see or smell the pastries your place offers (and for the really good ones - you probably baked them in house, so that's man power, valuable time and effort) only to get to the counter to order and see flies and nats terrorizing the food (and my eyes for that matter)!!! It's the absolute worst! So CHEERS, gold star, high five, hand clap to Flying Goat for this genius move. Again, that alone deserves a visit here. But they have exceptionally unique coffee flavor profiles (Ethiopia Nano Genji - peach, candied ginger, champagne!), an extensive hot & cold menu of beverages, pour-overs, nitro, lattes, mochas with Valrhona chocolate...! And their cold "grab & go" cold beverages are unique and have brands I've never heard before. And for people juicing or wanting a healthy juice option, they have these cans by the "Juice Shop" that have those superfood ingredients the body thrives on. Give Flying Goat a try or make it a regular part of your daily or weekly routine!

Cute coffee shop off the historic town square. Friendly Barista's and clean shop. Coffee and small selection of pastries perfect for on the go.

There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would come back!

That's probably the highest compliment I can give. I ordered the Wagyu sandwich, and every component knew exactly why it was there. Nothing fought for attention, yet every ingredient made the others taste better. The beef was deeply satisfying with a rich, meaty bite, while the pickled peppers were the spark that made the whole sandwich come alive. One bite somehow managed to satisfy my teeth, my tongue, my throat, and even my nose. It's rare to find a sandwich that engages all of your senses at once. Whoever built this sandwich has an exceptional understanding of flavor, texture, and restraint. Nothing felt excessive, and nothing felt missing. Then there's the bread. Too often, bread is just the thing that holds the filling together. Here, it deserves equal billing. Moist, fragrant with wheat, with beautifully toasted edges that added just enough crunch without becoming hard. By the final bite, the filling was already gone, but I still found myself slowing down because I didn't want the bread to end. When a sandwich makes you savor the last bite of bread on its own, you know someone in that kitchen truly cares.

Cookie was as big as my hand! Crispy edge, soft inside. 10/10 for that cookie. The chicken salad was really good. Large chunks of chicken, mayo, some spices -not sure what. Consistency was perfect. Loved the pumpkin seeds for a little crunch. Definitely the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. And nice on the bread. Lettuce could have been there or not, didn't add anything for me. Simple, effective. The turkey pesto was kind of basic, but the addition of the dill and the very fresh bread did do something for me. I think I'll be adding dill to my pesto sandos now? Anyway, solid sandwiches. Wouldn't say it blew me away and they are a bit small for a $20 sandwich, but here we are. Would come back for the baked goods and fresh breads.

We knew immediately this was going to be a special night. We went all in with the chef's prix fixe menu, and it delivered from the very first bite. Warm, homemade dinner rolls -- fragrant with thyme, garlic, and chili flakes, served alongside pillowy whipped butter -- set the tone perfectly. We loved them so much we asked for a second basket without a moment's hesitation. The Sonoma County Organic Salad that followed was nothing short of a revelation: crisp Little Gem lettuce, Pioneer Micro Herbs and edible flowers, beautifully shaved vegetables, whipped fromage blanc, and a Green Goddess dressing that tied it all together with effortless elegance. Perfection is the only word for it. For our entrées, the Petrale Sole Meunière was a masterclass in refined, soulful cooking -- the Costeaux sourdough croutons, potato fondant, haricot verts, and caper beurre noisette working in perfect harmony. And the pork porchetta with nduja? Cooked flawlessly, bold, deeply satisfying, and utterly memorable. We paired the meal with the Valette Rosé of Pinot Noir, which has instantly earned a place among the finest rosés we've ever tasted -- vibrant, nuanced, and a dream with every course.
