Very cute breakfast place with great donuts, croissants, eggs, etc. Not fancy, but a cute young mother with her daughter serving everyone with smiles. A nice way to get our visit to Healdsburg started!

Based on the donut name and that it's located in a strip mall, I had low expectations. The inside is a typical diner, unremodeled, with a donut counter. But outside is nicer. We sat outside for breakfast on a warm Friday under the shade of a red umbrella and next to a planter box of flowers. The atmosphere was very pleasant and they kindly brought a dog bowl of water out for our dog. I ordered huevos rancheros, with three tacos under scrambled eggs, chorizo, black beans, avocado, crema. It was very good and filling. Husband got the homemade corned beef has with 2 poached eggs and a slice of toast, and said it was better than he expected but not a huge portion. Our friend who doesn't eat eggs got the savory crepe filled with mushrooms, spinach, cheese and chicken pesto with a side salad and enjoyed it. The waitress was nice but it took 30 minutes for our order to arrive, no water refills, had to ask for check and to go boxes, so service wasn't great. They may have been short staffed as I only saw one waitress inside and out. Total bill was $54 plus an automatic 20% tip, though that could be adjusted. I would recommend this place if you are not in a hurry and want a good breakfast.

My daughter wanted a chocolate foot, she went there and came back with a maple foot with sprinkles, a jelly donut and a cinnamon roll. These days lots of portions seem to be getting smaller. The foot donut was bigger than what I remember, my daughter agreed. The foot still had the raised yeasty flavor with nice texture. The jelly donut was also huge and jam packed with raspberry filling. The jelly donut was almost the same size as the cinnamon roll. I used to go here in the 70's and the quality is just as good as I remember it.

    Saturday mornings are BUSY!

Do-nut be deceived. This small, diner-like spot offers much more than donuts. I'm in the Healdsburg Center (the CVS shopping center) almost daily but have never stepped foot inside this place until today. I was fulfilling a request for a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and was pointed here. It was packed on a Saturday morning! I had no idea. The croissant sandwich cost $8.70, cheaper than many other spots in town but not as cheap as I expected given the dated diner setting. They made it pretty quickly considering how busy they were. The recipient devoured it and was pleased. Now I know!

We have been long-time Flakey Cream goers so writing a negative review is rather unfortunate. Donuts are still tasty! However, I've ordered two different burritos while in town and the sausage is a bit funky. They used to use link sausage in their burritos and that was much better tasting. This go around I ordered an F1 and asked to add jalapeños which I'm sure we were charged for but they were omitted from the burrito. Annoying but whatever. Online under "Sides" they offer a side of corned beef hash. I love a good corned beef hash so I ordered that as well. What I received was a full portion and the consistency was that of canned cat food, mushy and minced. The corned beef was hardly detectable and quite frankly, unappealing. I hope this review helps to improve quality overall!

Definitely not a bagel. Just bread with cream cheese.

Been here many times for their doughnuts which are really good. Made the mistake of trying the "bagels" which skip the boiling process. They're more of a French roll than a bagel.

Beautiful donuts - by far the best blueberry cake donut I've ever had especially fit $1.10. Very friendly service. I bought 4 donuts and returned to buy 4 more donuts and look forward to eating them. Fun variety with total 3 blueberry donuts. Based on the one blueberry donut, I would definitely return here for an egg meal when I stay at a place that's not serving breakfast. So happy!!!

This is a solid diner with donut options. The corn beef hash will set you straight and on your way for the day.

Only place open early to get breakfast and coffee before 7am. Doughnuts are filled right on site, so that's a plus.

First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. One side is the hostess counter and right across from there is a waiting lounge area which I believe is also utilized for dining. Walking through, they have indoor seating to one side and the bar area to the opposite. Also dining available along the hi top bar counter. We had a big group which they had us set up on the patio. Another beautiful layout. It's like dining in a community garden slash secret garden. Our waitress who took care of us was amazing. So sweet and very friendly. Not just her but the entire staff there. Menu wise looked amazing. Also it was also a recommendation from one of the staff at a winery we were just at. Drink menu was quite huge too. Of course food was on our mind and it did not disappoint. Big group meant a lot of share plates to start off. A double of things ordered to start off. Daily crudo which was served with wonton chips. Fresh fish with all spices and marinaded. It was fresh and delicious. You gotta have oysters if it's available. Curry deviled eggs was quite tasty as well. Your classic eggs with a little twist. Mushroom egg rolls were a hit. It literally came piping hot so it was a little wait till we enjoy it and it was delicious. Came with two dipping sauce which paired very well. Salsa macha fries, similar concept as the elote corn with the coltija cheese, lime creme and cilantro. Brisket can also be added which we opted out for. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. Food was excellent as we literally had loads from the menu. Of course loads of recommendations which I know why. The food was exceptional and service was great. Restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Also they're so pet friendly. Plus, we ordered a dog patty for the pup and it was quite tasty...lol.... Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon. Not sure if menu if set or it changes seasonally. Regardless, whoever is in charge of menu, chefs kiss.

We discovered while out biking in Healdsburg, we stopped to see about going to the restaurant for dinner and the valet guy was so nice and made it sound so fantastic....he ran in and got us a menu so we could decide for ourselves. Because he was so good and the menu intriguing we decided to make a reservation for that night. Luckily they had space for us. When we returned for our reservation, we were greeted immediately and taken to our table immediately. One of the most clever things about this restaurant, and this coming from a restaurant designer, is that they have a drawer on each side of the table, that houses a variety of utensils so that as you get your different courses, you can choose what utensil you prefer! I absolutely love this! Kudos to the designers of this restaurant!!! The other thing that I loved, was they give you a welcome drink...I can't remember what it's mixed with, but it had Yuzu for sure and it was delicious! They also bring you the most fabulous loaf of bread with whipped butter. I'm pretty sure I could have made this my entire meal.... It was so good. It resembles a squaw bread but has poppy seeds on top. The dinner menu experience is an ingredient driven multi-course dinner experiences led by Chef Reed Palmer. It is a 3 course experience starting at $85.00. We started with the Ahi Tuna Crisp, I was hen had the seasonal salad..(can't remember the name unfortunately) my husband had the Local Lettuces, then we moved onto the Pacific King Salmon and the Caramelized Mary's Chicken and for dessert I had the Chocolate Cake and the Lemon Meringue. And even after all of this food, the other thing they just give you are these fabulous chocolate chip cookies their main like brownies were thick and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. Cookie was as big as my hand! Crispy edge, soft inside. 10/10 for that cookie. The chicken salad was really good. Large chunks of chicken, mayo, some spices -not sure what. Consistency was perfect. Loved the pumpkin seeds for a little crunch. Definitely the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. And nice on the bread. Lettuce could have been there or not, didn't add anything for me. Simple, effective. The turkey pesto was kind of basic, but the addition of the dill and the very fresh bread did do something for me. I think I'll be adding dill to my pesto sandos now? Anyway, solid sandwiches. Wouldn't say it blew me away and they are a bit small for a $20 sandwich, but here we are. Would come back for the baked goods and fresh breads.
