We went for a flight around the Los Angeles basin and further up north via the coast to Camarillo before we headed back to the Van Nuys Airport. Upon return, again, the front desk gal was very pleasant and asked how my first flight with them was. I appreciated the interaction. I had a good time flying and the kindness at Corsair Aviation was noticeable.

You actually get to deplane in the open air, and not in the typical enclosed and claustrophobic skybridge tunnel. Similarly, baggage claim is open air. 2. The Southwest terminal is pretty small, but they have restrooms spread out everywhere which is super convenient. 3. Dining options are limited. For take-out upon departing BUR, Lunch Box has a large menu of options. They at least have a Starbucks, BBQ, and sandwich places. 4. I like how the rental car center is walkable from the airport, and they have several moving walkways and escalator to speed up the journey. LAX will always be bigger and more glamorous, but when traveling to the LA area, BUR is far less stressful and easier to get in and out. Its also closer to Studio City/Universal Studios where we were staying.

When I first arrived at the plane, the pilot Barak was just finishing up his pre flight check and I was able to learn a few things about the aircraft. Right before take off, I was asked to read a safety script just like a flight attendant would. Once in the air Barak gave a full scenic tour of Santa Monica and LA. Even though I am from LA I learned so much. During the flight we played Sky Karaoke and sang lots of fun songs. I was even offered drinks and Raviv Air peanuts. I hope to go on many more adventures in the sky with Raviv Air. I'm probably biased because he is my boss, but I am grateful to get the opportunity to see the beautiful city from above.

13 weeks ago a new so'called security person was hired. In 13 weeks she has followed me into the…read moreladie's room 4 times along with following me around the station whilst I wait for my train. She does nothing. She is supposed to open bathroom doors & insure they are safe & fully stocked. She does not. She is to insure that passengers get on & off busses & trains safely. She's never around where there is heavy foot traffic. She walks numerous times to her car for food thus eating while she walks around on duty. She makes & receives personal calls while on duty. She plays with her hair. Additionally she allows anyone to smoke & vape at the station but me. Sadly, I witnessed a drug deal 2 weeks ago. Where was she then? It's no longer safe there in the mornings since Boaz & Guzman relocated to uptown Burbank. Lastly, she wears her own clothing leading people to ask me questions because she doesn't look like security. She needs to be replaced.
