Finally, the generator itself started failing during last winter's snow and ice storm. There was both a board failure and an engine oil leak. During that failure, Eric was able to give me assistance over the phone that allowed me to check the unit and keep it going without a service call. I then had them put in a new system when my roads became passable. It was cheaper than wasting more money on old technology. My friends and family have also used them for installation, repair and maintenance. Bottom line, we trust these people more than any other company we've dealt with.

We were not home, first time the generator was to run under actual load conditions. We arrived home with CO alarms blazing caution. We had a problem, deadly odorless gas was in our home. We vented the house, alarms calmed down and we knew the source of the problem was the generator and it remained. Today Eric came to our house and had the issue identified! Charlottesville generator analyzed the problem. The installer never changed the orifice from Natural Gas to LP. Eric was responsive and knows his stuff. He is my newly designated dealer and repair facility. Give him a call, you will not be disappointed!

The reality is this has been a horrible winter and they have had to struggle along with the rest of us. Taking responsibility and willingness to talk to your customers proves they care. My husband, AJ, first called on 1/16 when our tank was below 30% and also notified you that the monitoring system was not working. He called again on 1/20 and was told we were scheduled for delivery on Thursday the 22nd since you would be in our area. No delivery occurred. I then called on 1/23 to report that we were between 20-25% with snow and ice approaching, yet we still did not receive fuel by 1/29. On Monday 2/2 after being given the runaround/ told someone would call me back @ 8:20 & 12:40 when I attempted to get an answer. Then I called back after 4p as our tank had dropped to 10% or less. I spoke with Claudia, who stated we were scheduled for delivery on 2/5. After 4:00 PM today (2/5), I called again to confirm since no truck had arrived and was told drivers would be working until 8-9 PM and that we would receive fuel tonight. We are now (8:45p) below 5% (essentially empty). AJ has contacted your emergency line and was told someone should arrive within two hours. Thankfully driver showed up at 10p to fill tank and how ironic we were told he was around our area all day and we weren't on his ticket. Adding to our frustration, Tiger Fuel has had no problem drafting our account monthly, yet we cannot get the basic service we are paying for. This situation is unacceptable and has placed our household at risk during winter conditions. We relied on repeated assurances from your company that delivery was scheduled and coming. Please provide: 1. Why the runaround btwn different offices when customers call. 2. An explanation for the repeated missed deliveries and lack of communication. 3. Information on how this failure will be addressed moving forward to prevent recurrence. Sincerely, Mary & AJ Florian

I only discovered after incurring an $889. bill less than 2 years into ownership that this product inherently attracts ants, both through the hum and the adhesive itself in the control panel, attracts ants. A corporate person I spoke with in Wisconsin told me the company is working on a re-design. My control panel was destroyed to the tune of $600. and the battery at $150.; both attributable to the ants. (add labor and house call) Noteworthy is the fact that the base of this unit comes with "carrying holes" for the unit to be set into place at your location. There exists "fascia cap kits" made for those holes, to keep the mice, etc out; but you must ask for it from corporate and pay for it. It was also advised that I should silicone around these caps. Despite corporate telling me they'd send me the caps, at their expense, they now say they have no record of my phone call. I believe this kit should come with silicone gaskets especially designed for these fascia caps, and come installed with each unit. Needless to say, although the Never Dark folks are nice. I am not a satisfied customer of Generac's; as its painfully obvious Generac has transparency issues with its customers. Also obvious, is the fact that this problem generates sales for corporate's bottomline.
