Hugh did a wonderful job and went over and beyond while rekeying our daughter's house for her move back to NOLA. Hugh helped us by downloading the owners manual for the key code to the garage so we can change the code. I hired Flying Locksmiths because they had good reviews, but my experience with them was horrible. Flying Locksmiths did not complete their job. They were hired to reprogrammed three locks on the property, make two keys and repair one lock that was getting stuck. Instead of getting the job completed as outlined, the servicemen consumed 2 days of my time for an unacceptable and unfinished job. They only reprogramed one lock, made only one key, the lock was still getting stuck. Most importantly one of my doors was completely unlocked overnight, because the serviceman had no idea what he was doing, took the lock apart and could NOT figure out how to put it back together. He left the whole lock on my kitchen counter overnight so the door was unlocked. The second serviceman came out the next  day and wasted another two hours of my time trying to put the lock back together In the end, I had to hire another company to completely redo the work of Flying locksmith. Terrific service! Alex, the owner, answered my messages very quickly in the evenings (6-10pm). I was able to schedule a specific time to get my front door lock changed. Brian, the locksmith, was right on time. I had the new lock and tried swapping it out myself, but the old lock wasn't the current standard size. I have an antique door and possibly an antique lock. The holes had to be widened slightly to fit the new lock. The door itself turned out to be too thin for the lock I bought. Brian was able to cut the screws down to make it fit. So grateful these folks exist. I got home from work one night and my keys just wouldn't work in the lock. Maybe it was a weather thing? I don't know. I was locked out after work hours with a slowly draining phone battery. I hopped on Yelp and saw these folks were open and that it usually took under an hour to respond to messages. I sent a message and minutes later got a response from the owner. We communicated back and forth and then he sent the tech my information. Despite having also just gotten home from the work day, the tech was at my place much faster than I was expecting. The lock was so broken he had to drill it out to get us back in and then replaced it and made me new keys while I ran to the ATM to get cash. Prices were reasonable and VERY reasonable considering the service, swiftness and time. If I need a locksmith again, they've got my business. read more

One of the locks on my front door broke in the locked position. I was going out of town for weeks. Flying Locksmith was the only company I contacted that would set an appointment for a future date. I called to confirm about a week before, they were very pleasant and had all the details. The morning of the appointment, Hugh the locksmith called to say he'd be there in about 45 minutes and showed up exactly on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the lock and when he didn't have the exact part on his truck, he ran out to the supply shop and got what he needed. He rekeyed the new lock to match all my others, made me a few new sets of keys, and even fixed the other lock on the front door so now I don't have to jiggle the door every single time. Reliable and very friendly. Seemed knowledgeable and was able to suggest things I needed to do. I have very old locks that needed some attention and Hugh was able to take his time and deliver. His main concern was getting it right. Didn't feel like he was rushing through the job. I had previously called Louisiana Locksmith and was stood up and to add insult to that he wasn't honest about how it was handled so I questioned the integrity of that business. Very impressed with The Flying Locksmiths! I just went through my final walk through on a Thursday evening and was going to close on a condo the next day. After the walk through I started to look for someone to come and change the locks shortly after the closing (thinking this might be within a few days). I contacted The Flying Locksmiths through Yelp that Thursday evening. It was later in the day and I was expecting to hear back from them during normal business hours, however Alex responded within 10 minutes (I actually think it was more like 2 minutes). He said he could have someone there the next day right after the closing! It was perfect. After the closing I went straight to the condo and met Hugh, the locksmith. He called when he was about 20 minutes away and actually beat me there. He was very personable and was able to rekey the condo very quickly. I would definitely use their services again! read more

Amazing and fast service! A locksmith arrived at my house within 20 minutes of my call. The locksmith (Brian) was very pleasant and helpful. Even with my house being old/the lock being worn and stubborn, he was persistent and was able to get me back into my house quickly. Additionally, the representatives on the phone were great -- from the person who took my initial call to the easy credit card payment after the service had been completed.
