We are on a summer road trip from California knocking National Parks off our list. We stopped at Flyover Brewing, because it was the highest rated restaurant in the Scottsbluff area. Out of all the miles we have traveled on this trip (near 1700 miles at this point), this was by far the best food we've had. Our order: Appetizer - Flyover Pretzel with Beer Cheese Beer - Aztec Eagles Lager (Mexican Lager) Entre - Jalapeño Popper Pizza and Kids Mac & Cheese for the kiddo. Awesome! I don't know why it took us so long to try Flyover Brewing Company. The boys love beer and I love pizza so this was perfect for us. We tried the burrata caprese salad, olive tapenade, sausage pizza, and Korean wings. The burrata was rich and creamy and the olive tapenade was fresh and salty. They were really good together. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and just perfect. Italian sausage pizza isn't usually my first choice, but I loved that the sausage on this pizza was more of a crumble than huge chunks. The Korean wings were sweet and gingery, and had a little crisp to them also. The boys were happy with their beer selections, so I know we will be back! read more

Came into town a bit late and most everything else was closed so gave it a try. The Nitro DSB was a good beer, but be prepared as it takes a good ten minutes to get it as the bartender pours it a 1/3 at a time as it is so foamy! Best to order another beer while you wait and she remembers to add more and wait some more! Slow service. Tried the Artichoke chicken pizza. It was just ok, kind bland in flavor. Artichokes tasted old and the chicken had no flavor. The crust was nice though. Had a guy playing music at the front when I came in which was ok. Was just an "ok" experience. read more

The best Hefeweizen I've ever had! Many other excellent beers as well. Had the captain's club and Parmesan garlic wings...both very delicious. Service was great! Sydney was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. The atmosphere rivals that of Omaha's Old Market and Lincoln's Haymarket, but better. Loved this fun spot! The service was excellent!! We had a big group of family- some locals and some from out of state. Can't remember our server's name but she was excellent! I'm not a big beer drinker- so I ordered one of the house made strawberry rhubarb hard seltzers. That was probably a mistake. There was not a lot of flavor, and it just wasn't my favorite thing. We also ordered a pizza to share because they had a wood-fired oven and we all love that crispy-crunchy crust with the black bubbles right?? Unfortunately, this pizza didn't have any of that. In fact, it seemed undercooked. But everyone had a piece anyway and we just assumed that's how they make it. However, one of the locals came in later and was appalled with what our pizza looked like. He told us that is not how it is usually served. Our server did end up comping it, which she didn't have to do. She was also just really fun and we enjoyed her. The strawberry limeade seltzer may go down as the best seltzer I've had. As for the food, I had my two sons with me. Two of our meals came out an hour after ordering. My pizza was cold and so was my son's. My other sons came out 5 minutes after ours and was hot and fresh. I would love to recommend this place and would for drinks. If you plan on eating, just know it may take a while. read more

What does Scottsbluff, Nebraska deserve to get this really cool place?!?! It's a pleasant surprise in an otherwise small town stuck in 1990s. Really awesome that it's aviation-themed. This AvGeek is happy. Food was excellent! The hand-tossed pizza was on par with any pizzeria from Manhattan. Tastes great too. Beer though is VERY mediocre. Selection is quite limited. Left Hand Milk Stout beats their nitro stout in every way. And you're better off drinking Shiner from a gas station than ordering their Bock. But then again this is Scottsbluff Nebraska. read more

Third time here. Been coming back because beer is good and food is not bad for a brew pub. First time they added 4% charge for using a credit card w/o giving us a heads up when ordering. Second and third time we were ready and brought cash. Second time when cashing out we were given a total w/o an itemized receipt. Stumbled around and overtipped. Third time we tried to be smart and calculated our bill off the menu ahead of time. Holy Cow! 2.5 hours before we got out of there. Beer came quick, appetizer came quick, but everything else was terribly slow. Server was friendly, but didn't come around to check in. Looks like separate kitchen for pizza, other food and then beer. Had to get up and go find someone to cash us out. Total was different than what we calculated from the menu. Still overtipped (our fault). Whew. If we come back we're probably going to sit at the bar and have a beer, then go eat somewhere else. read more

We stopped by Flyover Brewing Company on vacation, and we're so glad we did! Even on a busy Friday night, our server, John, took the time to chat with us about the local tourist attractions and making sure we were set for our next day. Kudos to you, John! Thanks for a great dinner experience! There are a variety of wonderful beers on the list. The food is on point as well. My husband got the sriracha wings (I didn't get a pic before he ate them!), and I had the prosciutto pizza and Brussels sprouts. We split a serving of the blueberry cheese cake, which was excellent. They have a great pizza for kids, too. A few games and activities are available to keep kids busy. Whoever thought of this should get a raise! There's also some great Flyover merch for sale at the bar. We are stopping by here again on the way home from vacation. I'll be sure to get my own blueberry cheesecake this time. read more

Was in town for three days. Found this gem on night one and went back again on night three. Very nice place with a laid back feel. Pizza, salads, and wings were all outstanding. We came for the food but enjoyed the whole experience! We were looking for somewhere with delicious food where we could sit down and enjoy prompt service and a lovely atmosphere. Walking in the smell was dreamy (perks of being a brewery) and we were greeted and told we could sit anywhere so we headed for the patio as it was a beautiful day. Brian, our server, was prompt and courteous, a real professional of his industry. Everything on the menu looked good and we settled on the pretzels, bacon wrapped wings, a flight of 4 beers, and a pizza to share. If you're in Scottsbluff you've got to make a point to stop in here. New to the area, been here 3-4 times. Seems like a local staple but it's just OK for me. Might just be my preference. None of my top choices for beer. Food is pretty good. It seems like if I want pizza, it's better at Sam and Louie's. If I want a burger, it's better at Bakarack's, and so on. Clean, cool place to meet after work, I just usually find I'd prefer food, apps, drinks elsewhere in town. Please keep an amber beer on tap, or local Papa Moon ciders. read more

This was a stopping point from Rapid City, South Dakota to Denver, Colorado and it was a great decision to stop here for dinner. Their pizza and especially chicken wing (you must order this) was absolutely amazing, also their draft beers. No offense, coming from Los Angeles CA, I did not have high expectation but this was the best chicken wing I have ever had. The service was quick and extremely friendly, and I was skeptical at first because of the low review counts but it really deserves a lot more. Veer was good. Merch game is legit. Tacker signs, koozies, shirts stickers. I wanted that employee shirt though! That's the best one. Food: we ordered the only stuffed pizza. Stuffed pizzas are tricky as the top layer is tough to cook. Ours was not fully cooked as I feared. It honestly lacked salt too. In retrospect, I would have just got a different regular pizza cuz you're basically paying like 6 more dollars for an extra quasi cooked layer of dough and miniscule amount of cheese. Not worth it.
