He opened the dryer where the burner is and where the fires really start and gently vacuumed the delicate parts. He also inspected the components of the machine. This job was especially difficult since the vent is on the 3rd floor and with a long vent pipe that goes across the townhouse. Fortunately, I recently receive a postcard reminding me that this task should be done again but the name of the company had changed. I was assured that this was the same owner and company I had dealt with previously. Again, I could not have been more pleased. I was not happy with the bait and switch but went ahead anyway. A year later and I'm looking to get my dryer vent cleaned again. Give them a call and ask about price. The lady said $109. I asked if that is the case even if it is on the second floor. She said yes as long as it vents straight out under 6feet of ducting, which mine definitely is. So this just confirmed that I got scammed the first time around and what a dishonest company Life Air Care is. I'm reluctant to do business with them again.
