Fraudulent billing…read more Watch out for these fraudsters. I had Arctic over to look at a heating issue. Their tech was in my house for no more than 20 minutes. I received a bill for 1.5 hours. When I called them, their rude representative claimed their GPS said he was at my house for one hour and 27 minutes. Then she hung up on me. I then check my Ring doorbell camera and got the video evidence. I wrote the company and then got a call from a "manager" who claimed their rep didn't argue with me and they were fixing it. Watch out for these crooks. If they're willing to scam me on my first small bill, imagine what they'd do to you if you did a big project with them. CROOKS. Update: Subsequent to the original post, Jeffrey F from Arctic Mechanical wrote a reply to my post, inaccurately characterizing the events, but more importantly, listing my name and home address in his reply. This attempt to intimidate and chill my right to post about their business practices was appropriately taken down by Yelp. But this is further evidence of Arctic Mechanical's business practices and aggressive and shady front office.

After assessing the unit, he explained that the unit is dead and provided me with a few recommendations, replace what's required or the entire unit. He was very patient with me and explains the pros and cons. At the end, I decided the right thing to do is to replace the entire HVAC unit since the original unit is more than 13 years old. Our AC unit was not working and I tried to arrange for service. The operator at 7:15AM seemed to understand the issue. (I am 82 and my wife is 79 and the heat in our house was a real problem.) We were assured of service but the expected arrival of a service person kept getting later and later and the operators I spoke with later in the day did not have a clue. Luckily of us, very late in the day and probably after his business hours, Anthony Malachi stepped up to help us. He arranged for Matt Mozher to get here very late in the day to assess the situation. Matt recognized that the AC unit had frozen and that we would have to wait for it to defrost before any further action could be taken. Once again, Anthony stepped in and arranged for Steve Taylor to come the following day to service the unit. We are very grateful that we were "double-teamed" that day with both Anthony and Steve on the scene to repair the unit and get the AC running again. These three have restored my faith in Robison.

To any current or future customers: expect to wait an eternity on hold listening to bad music, receive no meaningful customer service, and be price-gouged. If that's what you're looking for in an oil supplier, then have at it--but don't say you weren't warned. I have been a customer for over 25 years, and since the company was sold, customers are now expected to absorb the cost. This is SHAMEFUL.
