Overnight, some clown decided that he needed the contents of my car more than I did. Neighbors notified me at 10 o'clock. After cleaning up the broken glass (not a fun job) I called the car dealership to inquire about replacing the glass. "Two business days," they said. It's Friday. That means Tuesday at the earliest. Thanks, but no thanks. Checked the web, found FM Mobile Auto Glass LLC near me. Called at 11:00. H was here at 12:15. Done, cleaned up and ready to leave at 1:15. Don't waste ur time with guys. After they failed to show up for my scheduled appointment, I called them, she told me someone misplaced her "paperwork", really? You don't have ur schedule on a spreadsheet? The woman I spoke to gave me a quote of $245 plus tax for the windshield, when I spoke with her a couple days later she tried to bump it to $295. Then after I got another appointment for the one they failed to show up for, she asked me if we had a garage they could do the job in. I don't have a garage and asked why they don't have a pop up tent, she told me theirs ripped and they were ordering a new one. Go to Home Depot and buy another tent!!! Such a waste of my time dealing with these clowns. read more

Just to verify my credentials, I am a factory certified automotive technician by trade. I met Jesus through one of my good friends and co-worker at the time who recommend his work to me. I was hesitant to give him a shot as he was a was a startup at the time but decided to give him a chance as my friend personally vouched for him. Before ever receiving a quote, I explained to Jesus that I was looking for an OEM windshield or equivalent (ACG/Pilkington) as I know how cheaper glass can be from working at a dealership. I told him that I would obviously pay for the difference in cost but just wanted a quality product. Fast forward when I picked up my car, I was surprised to see that it was neither product. In fact, Jesus went as far as to show me a "Pilkington" sticker to indicate that it was what I requested. I verified with a trusted auto glass technician who confirmed my suspicions. All auto glass sold in the U.S. has to be inspected and tested by the DOT, which in terms grades the quality and clarity. If you look on the glass, there should be a number which you can search online to tell you the origin of the product. In this case, it was a generic Taiwanese product that was graded far below the others. One month later, I get a rock chip which results in a crack in the windshield. (windshield cowl clips are all broken and condensation forms in upper pass. corner) The bottom line is, this was a personal referral and embarrassing that he would try to pull this scheme on an Auto Technician. I needed a window fast- it cost me $200 for driver door f150 2005 - they provided No after service follow up- no receipt of service- 2 weeks waiting - stonewalled me no answer any calls or texts- I tried give them time respond- they are not good now Paid cash same day service I won't be reimbursed from my insurance! Oddly my back windshield started cracking after not sure but could be related- ? Now I need pay for two windows! Not my luck read more

I had a very positive experience with FM Mobile Auto Glass last weekend! I contacted the company via Yelp on a Friday and received a response from Jesus quickly...maybe even within an hour. He was available to repair my chipped window the next morning at 9:00 am, and was very personable and professional. I appreciated that he was honest that glass can contract/expand with temperature and this factor could affect the repair, but he told me to let him know if the chip ended up worsening so that he could discount future service. I should also note that the rock chip repair cost only $65 with FM Mobile Auto Glass, in comparison with the $140 that Safelite wanted to charge me (and they couldn't even fit me into their schedule sooner than 1 1/2 weeks out). I would absolutely use FM Mobile Auto Glass again, and I recommend this company! read more

These guys came to our house to replace my broken windshield and everything seemed perfectly fine. They gave us a special deal with cash and quickly did the job. But not even a year after the work the sealant on the windshield failed. My car is now flooding every time it rains and is starting to build up mildew and mold. During heavy rains it will flood so much that water will start coming out of my A/C vents in the car. I contacted them about this in hopes that they would honor some kind of quality standard and was told they would contact me back within the hour. That was a week ago and they are no longer answering or returning my calls. Looks like I am going to have to use someone else to fix the damage they caused from their botched work. read more
