I had 4 older, "modern", dining chairs with horrible seats, but I really liked the design of the chairs. I found fabric that I thought would be perfect for recovering the seats. Thinking it would be a fairly simple job, one I could do myself, even though I've never done anything like this before, I began disassembling one of the seats. The original seats were molded wood supported by metal tabs on the metal seat frame. Several were bent or broken. Now I needed a new plan. I had a handyman doing a little work for me during that time. He assured me he could cut new wooden seats. He did 2 for me. I stalled. The chairs went to storage. Fast forward a year or so, to when I had a need for those chairs. I took one to Foam n Fabrics, got a reasonable quote. I contacted Foam N Fabrics about stretching and re-stapling the vinyl cover on my car's center armrest after it started to bubble and wrinkle. Keith promptly responded and asked me to bring it in for an estimate. I worked with Tony who provided 2 options which were both very inexpensive compared to buying a brand new factory armrest for over $100. I forget the guys name but he helped get the cushions out of my car, measured them and then recommended the foam. I didn't go for the thicker-firmer foam but the next level down. They told me to come back at 2pm today. Cushions were looking like new! What a difference quality foam can make! Plus they cleaned up my sofa cushions and helped me put the cushions into the car. First class service here! I'm sitting on my cushions writing this review. It feels heavenly on my bum, hips, and back!
