I think I registered for their HIIT class but ended up doing their crossfit session. There was nobody at the front desk when I got there but a gym member approached me and direct me where to go. I then noticed that there were 2 classes happening at the same time and I ended up in the crossfit session rather than HIIT, but I was OK with the challenge. The trainer explained everything we were doing and suggested modifications for those who were feeling overwhelmed. There was a screen with the exercises and reps and you could write them on little white boards if you wanted to move around. I was feeling pretty good to be able to keep up with the guys even though I haven't done crossfit for a long time. The facility is really big, they have an area with weights and equipment and a separate area for crossfit. Parking is available just outside the gym. I would be going back to try their HIIT class since the location is convenient for me.

The vibe in that class was AMAZING!! everyone working hard, yelling, being supportive of one another, music was on point- they even had lights so glad to have found this place and now can call it my stomping ground. 1-Star -- Extremely disappointing treatment after 13+ years as a member…read more I've been an LA Fitness member for over 13 years and have the higher-level membership that allows me to bring guests. I have been bringing my girlfriend with me regularly, and today was no different. We both checked in normally, including scanning her registered guest barcode. I had to briefly go back outside to my car because I had forgotten my gym bag. While I was going outside, a manager came running to the entrance and told my girlfriend that she could not stay inside because I was no longer in the club and that she needed to leave. I understand that there may be a policy requiring the primary member to accompany their guest, and if that's the rule, that's fine. My issue is the way it was handled. There was absolutely no reason for this to become a public confrontation. My girlfriend was spoken to in front of other members in a way that was extremely embarrassing and humiliating. She became so upset that she started crying. We ultimately decided to leave the gym altogether rather than continue our workout. After being a loyal member for more than 13 years, I expect basic professionalism, respect, and customer service from management. Policies can absolutely be enforced without making a member or their guest feel publicly humiliated. What makes this even more disappointing is that I have been coming to this location and using my membership for years. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. Instead, the way this was handled completely ruined our experience and caused us both to leave without working out. LA Fitness needs to do better when it comes to how its managers communicate with long-term members and their guests.

Corey came directly to our home and arrived fully equipped with a wide range of instruments for fitness torture (in the best way possible). He asked good questions prior to the workout about our fitness levels and types of workouts we prefer, and then we got to work. With some track in high school, and going to the gym sporadically, I never felt like I knew what I was doing. Aside from being able to complete certain tasks during my workout, my trainer also stresses the importance of stretching, and breathing, which are detrimental to your exercise regime.
