This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a professional company. I placed a custom order for 1000 folders and order a rush delivery of the folders and paid in full up front. This is what happened after that... The rush order did not get put on our order - so they were three days late in getting here. THEN - when the folders got here we discovered the the entire point of the customization (tri-fold folder with certificate holder slits on the center) wasn't done. No certificate holder slits. A little back story - I work at a national non-profit that awards talented high school students in the arts. Each year we send the winners a certificate. This year we took that money and developed the idea of an award packet that would hold their certificate. This is where folderprinters.com came in with the best quote. Now we have folders that don't hold certificates. When I call - the best they will do is send a label so we can ship them back and then fix them and then resend them. We're already days behind schedule and going to miss our drop date. They also suggest that we get photo corners and use those to hold the certificates - they say they will only cost $30. So I go buy the photo holders. Yah, the ones that cost $30 don't work. So it's really $278 worth of extra supplies that I paid for in this customization turned into improvised solutions. They should have put a new order in and cut their loss. I wouldn't have even asked for a discount on that. Get me what I need ASAP on your dime. No waiting for things to be shipped back?!?! I have lost time, money (had temps here to build these things - have to pay their contracted rate whether the thing is here to build or not), hours of my evening driving around looking for supplies, and been totally stressed out. All this on top of the fact that we are going to miss our ship date and notifications for all of our winners will be delayed which domino effects all of our preparations for programming. Somehow after all of this their owners thought a 20% discount would be appropriate! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! This is like your ruined everything you buy the dinner. Nope - they have only upped it just under a 35% discount. I don't think it's out of line to expect at least 50% back - but really?! Especially since I had to spend almost $300 in additional supplies because of their error AND will now spend more in labor to catch up!! This company sucks. And the nonchalance that management has taken is disgusting. Check me here - I don't just yelp when things are bad. I'm not one of those people ... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered 250 MATTE folders and they can't glossy. When calling to tell them the guy that answered said "let me pull a sample and call you back." Upon his return phone call he stated that matte is glossy. In my 21 years experience with printers I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF MATTE HAVING A GLOSS FINISH. He basically treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Then proceeded to tell me an uncoated finish is $200 more. WHAT!?!? They need to explain on their website that matte is in fact glossy. I will never do business with them again and I do a lot of business with printers. Decided to give them a chance and it backfired on me. Basically my clients have wasted $600 on GLOSSY "matte" folders. Ridiculous. read more

This company is ok. They have some good prices, however from last year to this year they seemed to have upped their prices, even if it's for a re-order of the same thing. It is a decent product, even if they do get the colors somewhat wrong, which was our whole last order of 2k folders. I made sure that they didn't touch anything this time and used my own design files. The pricing was different- over $150 different than last time and I was curious as to why this was, and why they decided to charge me tax this time and split shipping when they didn't do any of this last time. I needed these answers for my boss and the person handling my order was incredibly rude about the whole thing- obviously just wanting the money and to be done with me. Seriously, just let me know the break down and the reason why everything is so much more expensive and I'll pass the info along, it's not my call, so don't be bitchy to me, someone who has spent thousands with your company. The first round was so much more pleasant. Not sure if quality has gone down or what, but yeesh. I think I might find someone else the next time around. read more

I'm still surprised how smooth the process was. Being old school this is the first time I've actually ordered folders online. I usually meet the printers face to face to go over the details. But with Folderprinters, they posted very detailed specs and prices on the website, and sent a sample when I requested for one. When I had questions Michael got back to me pretty promptly. They also sent the pdf proof the same day I uploaded the files. They promise a 5-day turnaround and by the 5th day I was expecting it might be late. But no, they shipped it out on time and I got the folders the next day. The nice part is I can order a small quantity to test out their quality. read more
