They used up all my dental coverage for the first year with no consideration if I legitimately need dental work and when I did need dental work and was in pain I had no coverage let because they used it all based on greed and no consideration for the customer. I was rushed through my x-rays as if I was not paying for the service. After my x-rays and exam, the dental hygienist rushed through my gum measurements making sure to be forceful enough to make my gums bleed. In the end, I was not allowed to get a cleaning. Instead I was told that I needed invisalign (I am blessed with some of the straightest teeth possible), a replacement for a tooth far back in my mouth and root planing and scaling. I told them I only wanted root planing and scaling and they told me it would be $3,000+ for the service and maintenance. They then tried to pressure me to schedule the service. When asked why I couldn't just get a cleaning, they stated "it would be unethical" to clean my teeth without completing the root planing and scaling prior. I asked for a print out of the services they said I needed and promptly left. I had insurance so I was wondering why it only covered $50. Three months later, I started a new job and therefore started a new dental policy. This time I went to Park Dental in Coon Rapids and received a much better service overall. Not only was the facility immaculately clean, but after thorough, unrushed x-ray and exams, they cleaned my teeth without hesitation. No other service was recommended but regular cleanings. ASPEN IS A SCAM! I should have ran when I heard other customers complaining about their bill in the lobby before my appointment. BUYER BEWARE, and get a second opinion on anything they recommend.

The cons, however, are... - They wrote down my birthday incorrectly, which at first was hilarious because I was flattered that they thought I was 18 yo. But then I was concerned that they wrote down the month, day AND year incorrectly. - After receiving my Novocain injection before applying my new crown, the Dr. left the room to let it set in. Several minutes later, I got up and looked around to give the hint like "hey, I'm still in here, let's get this show on the road". FFwd to 40+ freakin minutes later! The Dr. returned and said there was an emergency, which is understandable, but someone could have told me while I waited impatiently, instead of just blinking at me when I poked me head out of the room. - After paying, I asked the receptionist if I could have a toothbrush... and she said no! Even though they just got hundreds of dollars out of my new crown, they couldn't spare a toothbrush (only after I got a cleaning, she said). Jeez. - When I still did end up coming back for a cleaning (and finally my toothbrush hehe), the dental assistant scraped my teeth SO aggressively that I asked her to stop. Oof. TL;DR My teeth are clean and my crown is holding up, but I experienced some really bizarre service!

Dr. Chang has been so kind and considerate, compassionate, and accommodating to me ever since I had baby teeth. I had called to ask them to refund my over pay. Dr. Dan Lam refused to refund and offer me to come back to redo it with the silver ( the material they should used in the first time ). "I must be out of my mind if I take his offer" I told the front desk lady name Amira . I had report this to MN Attorney General Office and MN Board Of Dentistry and file a complaint to my Delta Dental Insurance. As a result the Insurance had instructed Dr. Dan Lam refund my over pay. It is included MN Care tax and extra cost for expensive material that they made me pay.

I always feel comfortable and in "good hands" here. 10/12/ 2022 - came in again, to have my implant checked. Dr Weimar and Lara were professional and reassuring again ! 06/02/2021 - again the staff and Dr Weimar gave me a pleasant experience. I can't remember my mouth feeling this good. 09/24/2020 - update Came in for a root canal and the experience was more pleasurable than I expected. Dr Weimar is a true expect and professional.
