During my dog's first grooming appointment, I was charged an amount that I later learned I was overcharged. When I raised the issue during a subsequent visit, I was initially told that no one knew what I was talking about. To the company's credit, the matter was eventually addressed, and I was provided with a gift card to compensate for the overcharge. However, what concerns me most is what happened afterward. I continued bringing my dogs to the groomer and completed multiple appointments without being informed of any problems or concerns. Then, when I called to schedule another appointment, I was suddenly told that the groomer was no longer "comfortable" servicing my dogs and that the grooming manager or owner would need to explain the situation. I was never informed of any issues during prior visits, nor was I given any opportunity to address concerns before being effectively turned away. The lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism left me confused and disappointed. However clearly I can find other services. I believe customers deserve clear communication, consistency, and honest explanations when service decisions are made. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Beware.

I witnessed a dog on a short leash that jumped on the bench and had no way to get back down. My dog was perfectly fine when I took him in and now he is in extreme pain. Vet thinks they dropped him or mishandled him. All his assistant could say is that my dog peed a lot and he may have a UTI. BS! The first time I went in there my dog was tied up and his legs were wrapped around the leash. I got upset about it and begged them to make sure not to let that happen again. Safety of the animals is not their best interest.

It will change your perspective 180 degrees - And the last after the training itself she came to see how the dog is doing after we received him came back. They gladly try to fix him while I wait but I usually just give up and leave somewhat unhappy. On my last visit, the owner came out with him for the second time and told me i needed to communicate better and that's why his haircut is not done satisfactory. Then she said that he was severely overweight and that's why his cut can't be done like I wanted. BTW, he's not overweight. He weighs 10 lbs. Also, each time I pick up my pup, his inner ear is bleeding and they never take the blame. Hmm.... The front staff is super friendly, but the owner is very rude. Rude enough that I will not be going back. After talking to several friends of mine, they have had the same issues with this spa (rude owner, owner showing favoritism, injured pets, etc.) So, if you live in Madison do not use Blue Pet Spa.

They have over clipped my dog's nails on the last two visits to the point of bleeding. Our dog comes home and drinks an entire bowl of water. Are they not providing water there? They also don't follow directions given to them to clip our dog the way the breed should be clipped. Too many other groomers who pay closer attention to detail and treat dogs the way a customer should expect. Stay away.
