Rude owner. I walked in and he starts insulting me accusing me of being homeless because I have a backpack on. I've talked with the guy a handful of times and spend about 50 bucks a month here, until today. No hot water. Almost no machines working. Puddles of water in machines some with suds because machines don't spin. I put on my clothing just washed and within 30 minutes I'm itching head to toe because of soap left on clothing. I used a third of soap recommended. Clothes finish wash soaking wet. Staff says that's normal because cotten and their hands are tied. Never again. I'm going to try Pundry laundry today. Folsom laundry other location in South Boulder, Table Mesa is not much better. Kiss my 600.00 a year goodbye Folsom. They only have Tide boxes because they want the bulk discount but advertise other brands in machines that are free of fragrance. Pet hair in machines and dryers smell like cat piss. Don't support a business that cheats poor people because owner is too cheap to turn on hot water or properly maintain his machines. Also almost no water is used in washing and rinsing, regardless of setting. Containers that soap goes in are gross and cakes in soap. Water runs through these containers so soap always gets into rinse. read more

Hadn't been to a traditional laundromat for years, so I needed lots of help. The staff was super-friendly and helpful! The only downside was that some kind of higher-up came in and was very rude to the staff :( It got pretty busy in the afternoon - try to come in the morning. read more

I have never left a Yelp review before and I do not plan on leaving one in the future but I felt the need to say something about Folsom Street Laundry. Today, I have had one of the most stressful days of my entire career. On top of that, my laundry machine broke half way through my wash leaving me with soaked clothes. I went to Folsom Street Laundry as a last resort and because it was the only laundromat near me open at 10pm. Alejandra helped me spin my clothes and get everything dry on her own time and I have never appreciated anything gesture more than this. I think we often overlook how much a seemly small gesture can mean to others. This interaction made my day and saved me from an imminent breakdown. Not only was the service amazing but the facilities were clean and extremely efficient. I could not recommend this place enough. It's not expensive for self-service laundry, but there are some drawbacks. There's a resident racist. Beer cans in the trash. The attendants watch movies while they work (which isn't bad, per se, just extra noise), but they WORK. The floors are gross. The gaskets in the machines are filled with detritus. A lot of machines are out of order. BUT There are quite a few contactless payment machines and that's a huge plus for people who don't want to handle money. Parking is plentiful. I got in and out with two loads in under 2 hours. Not bad. read more

No. Just no. The facility is very unclean- the floor especially. The whole place is run down and in disrepair. Hair balls were on the washer gaskets. 80% of the washers and about 25% of the dryers were not in working order. The two usable large capacity washers were being used by the employee doing laundry service. Prices were reasonable. I think it was $3.25 for a load and $.25 for every 5 minutes of drying. There is a change machine that takes $1, $5, and $10. Some machines have credit card scanners but they were nonfunctional. The only good part was that the employee was very polite and did provide us a refund when a nonfunctioning machine ate the coins. Would not use this place again. read more

I looked up "laundry pickup and delivery" in Google, and this place was one of the first to come up. So I took a look at their website, and continued to enter my credit card information, address, and all that for them to not come and pick up my laundry. Their website advertises having a pickup/delivery service, and I even got an email confirmation saying "Folsom Street Laundry Pickup Reminder Hello Alyssa, This is a friendly reminder that your order, 60, is scheduled to be picked up tomorrow, 2/28/2022 between 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. We appreciate your business!" My order was supposed to be picked up 2/28 at that time and then dropped back off 3/1 around 2pm. So I called the next day to figure out why they did not show up; Maybe they couldn't find it? The lady on the phone told me they have never done pickup or delivery... Okay, then why is it advertised on your website and why did you let me enter all my personal information including credit card into your website? I manage a pet care business and we rely on having clean laundry; with our washer and dryer breaking on the same exact day, we relied on Folsom St Laundry to help us out with this inconvenience. I decided to call again and ask for the manager, who was not on site--how convenient. I left my name and phone number with the woman on the phone, and still haven't heard anything 6 days later.. Wash-and-fold is amazing. Really great front desk staff. They do a great job with all my laundry. Really appreciate this service and the price is really fair. Compared to hours of doing my own laundry and soap and time sitting at a laundromat, for us bachelors without a washer/dryer in the home, this is a life-saver. This laundromat should be a commercial business. Restaurants and schools drop off laundry "wash and fold." I've tried twice now and every washer was in use 25 minutes after they opened. All had receipt tags on them or were out of order. EVERY WASHER!!! How is that not a commercial laundry? Don't bother trying to use it. Staff comes in earlier than opening and load up the machines. I come here to wash clothes occasionally. I would recommend they clean their washers and dryers more often. If you don't do it before you put your clothes in, you may end up with someone's hair in your clothes. read more

I am a frequent at this place and I have been extremely dissatisfied lately. Came in 2 weeks ago to find out a white shirt had brown/black stains and tears in it after just a gentle wash. Called and no one returned my call. I go in today and she just adds some bleach, but that doesn't help the tear (pictured below). As I return home again I see ANOTHER tear and brown/black stains on a pair of pants I washed today. Different washer, always check if they are clean. These are also two different fabrics. I wont do my laundry anywhere else. Theyre machines never let me down, I always leave happy. Super clean and normal enviroment.

It is reasonable to expect that a laundromat does not ruin your clothes. I washed and dried a custom made white men's dress shirt only to have it speckled with black spots. I doubt it I will be able to clean it when I get back home to North Carolina. The manager was in the laundromat and he took no responsibility for the condition of his equipment. I would look elsewhere to get your clothes cleaned or washed. read more

I cannot believe how amazing this place is. I recently decided to use their Wash, Dry, Fold service, and I am beyond impressed. I called to get more information about pricing and details, and the guy I spoke to was very helpful and thorough. I knew exactly what to expect when I dropped off my laundry. Dropping off the laundry took less than 2 minutes, and the girl I dropped it off with was awesome. I picked up my laundry today after work, and it looks great. The whole team was courteous, and the transaction was quick and inexpensive. I will be returning to Folsom Laundry again. read more

My roommate and I just took a bunch of our laundry here and it came out perfectly! We didn't want to have to deal with getting coins and the hassle of doing it ourselves, and it was well worth the few extra bucks to have them wash and fold our clothes! Thank you FSL...we'll be back! read more

I like this place because there's always staff on site to support if there's an issues with a machine, if I need change or otherwise. Because there is staff on site, it mostly stays clean as well which is important if you want to avoid messing up your clothes due to someone leaving bleach behind on a washer for you. They have soap for purchase on site which I don't usually use but forgot my soap the other day so their soap was helpful in that moment. They could use a few more of their mammoth sized dryer machines. They seem to dry the best and yet their are often more full and unavailable while many of the smaller dryers are often empty....oh...and they have wifi too! 5 stars if they add a couple more of the large dryers. read more

Lots of machines to choose from and it seems nicely staffed in case anything goes wrong. Plenty of seating and parking, free wifi, quarter machines, they accept credit cards and apple pay! A pretty convenient place to do your laundry, even if you don't live nearby. read more

Great clean, bright place that has staff in the facility for questions or problems.

A little pricey but worth it for the convenience of the credit card readers on the machines. The readers themselves are a little spotty but the staff was super helpful in getting them to work. Using a card is especially annoying with the dryers - you have to swipe and wait for your card to be processed for every 25 cents (for 5 minutes) you wish to spend. Fortunately my clothes were almost completely dry in about 20 minutes so I didn't have to mess with it too much. There are also tables to sit and wait for your clothes and vending machines w food and laundry detergent/softener/etc. Pretty good place. read more
