Bought two bottles of wine - each over $50. One bottle the cork crumbled. The other bottle was not stored properly and it was oxidized so the wine had gone sharp wand was undrinkable. I should know better than to buy wine from a place that stores their wine standing on shelves standing straight up. I'd save your money and go to a better place unless you are in college. read more

This guy at this place on April 10, 7:40 PM. I went in here to get quarters so we could take a shower at the campsite we were at. I bought some things so we could get quarters in this guy made me pay for a slushy my five-year-old boy into a cup. He demanded that I pay and I gave him two dollars for a slushy. He didn't even drink because we didn't take it. I understand supply and demand but have a little heart. I told him I'm not paying for that and he said well take control of your kid. Do not order from their website. Advertise items that are not in stock that they will not fill. 45 days to partially fill an order. After I placed the order, I gave them some grace and waited 20 days to email them for an update. No response. After another 10 days, I called the store. The guy who answered acknowledged the order as (paraphrasing) 'something that's on the list to order in'. When I asked for more information, he had none and told me to email the boss. I sent an email. 7 days after that, I received a shipping email for one item and a refund for the other. No explanation, no apology. If I didn't call and email, these guys would do nothing. These people are liars and theives. I have shopped here for 10 years. I knew the owners well in their early days. But in April 2024, their elderly employee "accidentally " (?) charged me $78.94 instead of $7.89 for a pint of vodka. He said he couldn't reverse it and I had to go to ny bank. Turns out, he could have, but didn't know how because he is 85 years old. Ok, fine. Go to bank. No proof other than that employee admitting he stole 70 dollars from me. Nope. So I go to the owners. They have Me work around their schedule. Drive an hour round trip for a "refund " that never showed up on my card. The owners wife, Remy, kept telling me her husband would call me. Id get my money. Etc. Never heard from him and now that woman will not text me back either. Do not shop here. You will be robbed. If you must, then use cash. Because they clearly have no problem stealing from even loyal customers. They are bad people amd I hope they lose their business. read more

Tequila selection is great, plenty of additive free selections. El Tesoro, Fortaleza, Tapatio, Ocho, etc etc. Pricing is competitive for the common bottles but my only issue is the price gouging for Fortaleza. I get it, EVERYONE is doing it but the bottles MSRP are between $65-100 and they charge $185-$600 depending on blanco, repo, anejo, etc. read more

I moved from Folsom to the Memphis area in TN a year ago. As a bourbon lover, I was excited about being closer to the source of my favorite Kentucky bourbons. Turns out, my favorite store in Folsom is still the best place I've come across for hard-to-find bottles. PJ regularly gets amazing bottles and sells them at great prices. I fly back regularly now and stock up every time I'm in California. Love this place! And as an afterthought, anyone who would leave any bottle shop a negative review because they don't sell Orphan Barrel bourbon at retail is living in fantasy land. The rare bourbon market is what it is. Accept that or find a new hobby. read more

Came here this weekend for liquor and was one of the nicest liquor stores I've seen. Really nice décor and all super modern - they have a large monitor that faces you at checkout showing you the total and items. They had stone (maybe granite?) countertops and upgraded shelving - not your typical liquor store. The guy behind the counter was cool too. Favorite liquor store in town, hands down. They know their wine and are happy to help you pick some out to complement your meal. Also, their beer selection is decent, and often a few bucks cheaper than at the nearby drugstores/grocery stores. They have plenty of high (and low) end liquor as well. Under New Ownership!! I went here a few months ago and walked in looked around and walked out. It was very basic and not much selection. Being a craft beer hophead I was very disappointed with most of the beer/liquor stores in the Folsom-Orangevale area. Well after heading home from a brewery I just needed an extra beer for the night and thought I could find a basic IPA here. I walked in and was completely impressed. They had all the beers I wanted to try, but can't find. They have Sour beers and The Brewery barrel aged bottles cold. All the new releases from Stone, Knee Deep, and many local brews. They even carry PTE 2 bottle max, sells out quick so ask often. They remodeled the inside and updated the coolers so there's lots of fresh cold beers to chose from. Glad I made it back to this new hidden bottle shop. If you haven't been in here for a while, check them out. Best bottle shop I've found in the area. read more
