Hi to who ever is looking to see if you wanted to try a new place, we'll don't bother coming here, poor customer service(Edgar) we were the only people there and felt pressured and disrespected,food was whatever, besides the fact that I asked for limes and they gave me a already bitten lime... I am leaving a review because I am fed up, I have given this place a chance time after time, and this is my 5th time coming here. Just don't feel welcomed, sad to say I lost a place I thought I could eat at, than the usual food that we all know we always eat. Hope this helps you, I know it would help me. The vibe is very homey, the food was delicious. I got huevos a la Mexicana and they reminded me of my moms cooking so definitely authentic. My friend got the enchiladas and they warned her they were spicy but she was fine with it. When she got her plate she couldn't eat the enchiladas because they were soooo spicy lol so if you like spicy spicy food this is definitely the spot for you. Chilaquiles were spicy af ! My boyfriend had to swap me because he couldn't handle . Lol we had a slice of frozen cake, PASS we got cat fished by the picture. I finally decided to try this place and I was greatly disappointed. My husband and 2 friends came in on a Sunday morning and ordered menudo. It was the worst menudo I've ever had. It was bland and tasted like NOTHING. Boiled water is the best description. To top it off, they forgot what 3 out of 4 of us ordered. Horrible service. Never again. read more

I went with my husband and daughters, they looked at the place and said I don't know it doesn't look good I went by the reviews on yelp which now I doubt all the time looking at reviews because you see things that look good from other customer reviews but I wonder if it's family and friends that put in those reviews for them I would not give it any stars service was bad the food did not taste good I only was giving the waiter a couple of dollars for the tip. Horrible service, found this place on Yelp, took a lot of time to get the food, very slow service. Food was not that great, the beans taste was strange. If i could give it one star i would, the food was absolutely ugh i dont know how else to describe it. First when i asked for my plate they didnt know what i was talking about then they asked for my phone to take to the kitchen so the cook can see what i wanted wait time was expected but when i got my food the costillas were tasting a bit weird so i stopped eatin it because i thought maybe it was bad. The calabasa was all old and black i literally left most my food, i ordered molletes for my kids and the bread was burnt my baby kept trying to eat it but spit it out so she ate the beans. So, let me start off by saying that I'm very particular about Mexican food. With that said, I love the food at this restaurant! Unfortunately for me, I'm not big on spice but I just couldn't stop eating the chicharrones in chile... the beans were outstanding and the chilaquiles were delicious! It's a small business and so seating is limited for parties over 4 people but I would wait nonetheless. Did I mention their amazing cafe de olla?! I highly recommend you try this restaurant... if I must mention something negative is that the orchata was missing cinnamon and or taste and the service was a bit slow but manageable. What a beautiful space! I placed a catering order for chilaquiles and they were delicious. Everything was packaged up nicely. I ordered it with eggs and they even made some that were over medium and over hard to accommodate for picky eaters. The owner (I think) was a super nice lady. Even though the restaurant didn't open until 8 am, they made my order early for pick up. I will be going back to try more items on their menu! read more

Family owned restaurant with great personal hospitality and great service. Prompt seating with no waiting in line. Menu has lots of choices of food and drinks. If I could this place would get a 0! My wife and I ordered dinner but our kids wanted a burrito from next door. So they went and ordered. My kids got their food and started eating, almost half way into their food and an empty restaurant the only worker asked the kids to leave because they couldn't eat their food there. Mind me, this had been 30 minutes into our order and no food yet, no other customers either. These guys are busier looking around at whose eating what out in the patio instead of attending their own clientele. It's no wonder they don't have customers. Horrible customer service! Everything about this restaurant is authentic. From the food, the music and of course, great hospitality. The food transported me into that Mexican "sazón" I grew up with in Mexico. I haven't tasted something like this in the US as long as I can remember. I would highly recommend the chilaquiles con carne or enfrijoladas choriceras but to be honest, everything else in the menu looked amazing. Don't get me started with the cafe de olla. Service was good (cashier was friendly) but the agua frescas were not very good. I got two, a pineapple agua fresca and a cucumber one. The cucumber one was alright but the pineapple was terrible, it mostly tasted like sugar water. The woman who made the drink also had to make more of the pineapple one because what was left was not enough to fill my cup. When she made the fresh one she mixed it with the old one and served it to me. In my opinion you should never mix the freshly made into the old! read more

I used to come here all the time because I genuinely like the food, but the service is what stops me from coming anymore. When you dine-in, it takes 40 mins to get your meal and then another 20-30 mins to pay. You always have to remind the waiters to refill your drinks. I recently placed a pickup order. I ordered six meals. I called at 10 am and the woman on the phone told me it would be 25-30 mins. I arrived at the restaurant at 10:30 and was told they needed another 20 mins. I came back at 11 am and they needed another 10mins. I finally got my food at 11:20. While the food is good it's not worth the crappy service and the wait. read more
