I'm hard pressed to review anything bad about the place and the owner because truth be told, I've yet to have a "bad" dish in the last 2-3 years of going there for take-out. The only "complaint" I have would be the predicted "pick up" time he tells you when you place an order to pick up as it's usually off by a good 15-20 minutes. Oh, and they use too much filler (Cabbage/Carrots) but otherwise amazing! However, it's hard to be annoyed with the Chef because he truly is a passionate Chef, humble, polite, and personable even though the language barrier is present. Strange, a Chinese restaurant in these parts. Let's give it a try! 3 out of the 4 of us opted for the buffet. Not surprisingly, the menu was more American...errr...Canadian-Chinese food. Surprisingly everything was good and fresh! I particularly loved the chicken wings which were perfectly seasoned and deep fried with a light batter. Service was A+++. The owner came out to our table and said if we wanted any more particular buffet items, they'd make more on request. How nice considering it was almost closing time! The one person who opted not to do the buffet, ordered sweet & sour chicken off the menu. The waitress noticed she hadn't made much of a dent in the dish and asked if anything was wrong. She said it was too sweet for her liking. The waitress came back and said the owner didn't want her to leave hungry so she can grab whatever she wanted from the buffet!
