The owner arrived on time, was polite and personable, and explained what would be done. I have had similar tree work completed a number of times over the years, but never had such an amazing experience for all 3 tasks. First of all, the price for everything was lower compared to other companies. The men who removed the tree were respectful, very skilled, extremely careful, and thorough in prepping my neighbor's driveway in addition to when they lifted the branches and trunk over the roof of my house and into the grinding machine and/or truck. A while later, a man returned with the stump grinding machine. He worked slowly and precisely to fit the machine through my gate with only a few inches of room on each side. I was thrilled with his cautious manner. And he spent a long time going over the stump until it was completely ground up. He told me that he tried to follow the roots so he could get everything and he did succeed. The next day two workers came to remove the wood chips so the area would be ready to receive the loam and seed/fertilizer. They filled a large plastic trash barrel over 10 times, lifted it onto their shoulders, and dumped them into their truck. When they were done, one man asked if it was satisfactory. I was thrilled because there was not one speck of wood chips left on the ground. I would highly recommend Amazon Tree Services for your next job. The work ethic is excellent, they do a commendable job, and the price is very reasonable and better than other companies.

He showed up for one day of work, during which his machine broke down, and he completed only about 25% of the removal job(have not started on stump grinding yet). He then pressured my elderly parents, who are both in their eighties and suffer from Alzheimer's, into paying him $2,000. They are not in a condition to handle high-pressure situations, and I was not present at the time. Given that $2,000 significantly exceeded the value of the work completed, the contractor happily chose not to return and instead began making a series of excuses. At one point, he offered to refund $1,000, but when I tried to collect the refund, he changed his story again saying he will come back to finish but stopped responding to me. It appears he does not keep his words, lie consistently, and is willing to take advantage of vulnerable people whenever the opportunity arises.

My experience with this company wasn't fantastic. They did a residential job for me in May, but…read morefailed to complete the work. It took another 6 months for them to finalize the job. Over that 6 months I received 8 calls from the office staff asking for final payment (very 1900's, they seem allergic to text or email). In each case I would tell them that I was waiting for them to finish the job and would send them photos detailing the remaining work. Then I wouldn't hear from them for weeks, until they called yet again to ask for payment, always surprised that the job hadn't been completed, and again asking for more photos. So all-in-all it wasn't a positive experience. I would say that the guys who did the actual tree work were very easy to work with, I found them to be both professional and friendly! The office staff wasn't easy to deal with; their sole focus seemed to be on pestering me for final payment with little interest in actually completing the job.
