He was searching for water near the water fountain. They have a water fountain near the bottom for dogs to drink from

Very beautiful park! There are 2 separate dog areas, 1 large and 1 small. Both areas are very well taken care of. Both areas have water fountains with spouts near the ground for smaller dogs to drink water from. 2 separate security gates are in place to safely enter and exit without any hassle as well as bags for scooping up after your dog.

This is a decent dog park with two separate areas (Big dogs / Small Dogs). however, just like any other dog park, some of the people there have no clue when it comes to proper etiquette with their animals. I. e. Allowing their large dogs to pretty much maul the smaller ones. Personally, (and Im sure some would disagree), I don't feel that some of the more aggressive dog breeds should be allowed there (for obvious reasons). Also, I'm writing this review as of July 8, 2023 and the dog park has been "temporarily closed" for the better part of a month now. it appears that the reason was so that they could replant grass. From what I can tell, the grass has pretty much filled in as of the last week or so. I'm not quite sure what they are waiting on at this point. Also, the section I use (for smaller dogs), doesn't even have grass (all dirt) so I'm a bit perplexed as to why this section was closed in the first place. The reason that I gave the park 4 stars vs 3, is because of its location and close proximity to my humble abode.

Not a fan. There is so much room for a quality dog park, yet it's just a fenced in tiny portion.

This is a dog park? Very small... Smaller than my own backyard, and no shade. I prefer the Etiwanda dog park. Clean, but that's it.

Very clean park. Nice area, never have any trouble. Yes it's not near anything and there's no shade but my dog loves it. Always come here.

Paddle boarding More challenging than it looks, especially when you're trying to keep your balance, but so much fun once you get the hang of it. Duffy boat Definitely the relaxing part of the day! Cruising around the lake, enjoying the scenery, and taking in the beautiful Mountain View's Inflatable water park: The kids had a blast! Adults be prepared to work for it because the climbing and balancing are no joke! Overall, such a fun family day at Lake Gregory. Definitely recommend trying all three if you're visiting!

Unfortunately, this visit was incredibly disappointing. We reserved a cabana and arrived as soon as the lake opened, only to find guests setting up pop-up tents directly in front of the cabanas, completely obstructing our view of the lake. During our previous visits, tents were not permitted in this area--which is part of what made paying extra for a cabana worthwhile. I brought the issue to both the cabana hostess and the office. I explained that had we known pop-up tents would be allowed directly in front of us, we would have brought our own instead of spending the additional money on a cabana. The only solutions offered were to move or leave. I wasn't asking for a full refund--just a reasonable discount because the experience we paid for was clearly compromised--but the manager refused. To make matters worse, the wind later picked up and the tents began blowing around, creating the exact type of safety concern this policy should prevent. We've enjoyed this lake in the past, but the manager's poor handling of the situation and complete lack of customer service left us extremely disappointed. If you're considering paying extra for a cabana, I recommend confirming beforehand whether tents will be allowed to set up directly in front of it. Otherwise, the cabana may not be worth the additional cost.

We have showed up to reserve grass space for Easter in the past, once the grass was insanely wet and puddled in some areas but other than that it was really nice. Our most recent experience was renting the space for an event and that was the first huge disappointment. When we arrived for set up on a Sunday, the floor was absolutely filthy from the prior days event, there was food sitting and smeared on the ground, what looked like juice spilled so some areas were sticky, baby shower toys/trinkets and other small trash all over the place. One of the employees showed up to put out a sign that the space was reserved for us so that was nice and at that point we inquired about the cleaning and he said he would call to have someone come out. The person that came mentioned that did come and clear out trash and replenish the restrooms b it when we mentioned the floor they said that's not something they wash off for Sundays after a Saturday party (which is surprising if true but very disappointing g and gross). We asked if we could at least have a broom or if they had a leaf blower to at least get some of the food and trash blown off and he did. It was just unfortunate because we had already started set up by the time he showed up and started blowing the trash off. So just a heads up to inquire for your events about the cleaning of the floors and arrive early enough to find out if it needs cleaning because there was pasta and other food being stepped in and spread around during set up so that was a huge let down.
