Great park! Kind of in the middle of nowhere but it's big, it's separated into two large and long runs (one for big dogs and one for small) and it's CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! There are great views of the Jurupa Valley, shade, water, trash cans and poop bags every couple of hundred yards and it's just a really nice dog park, one of the best I've seen! The people are nice and appear to actually clean up after their dogs! Some are talkative, others keep to themselves but the majority of people at least speak! It's such a nice atmosphere versus other parks that aren't well maintained! I'm so happy to have found a dog park where I don't have to worry about anything and can just sit and watch the dogs play! This park is extremely dangerous at night. Their lights are on timers and turn off on you with zero notice. There are many huge holes here. Because it was dark, I fell into one of these holes and hurt my knee. Whoever owns this park must make changes to the lights to provide clear safe lighting, especially now that it gets dark well before the park closes. This dog park is so pretty. I take my dog to the larger dog section and there are so many trees and ample lawn for dogs to run around and relax in the shade. There are 5 cement tables spread out through the park where friends and families congregate. The scenery is very lush and the park is located high enough to views of Mount Rubidoux, and the Santa Ana River basin. The people that I've encountered are very sweet. read more

What an awesome dog park! My family and I took our dog to the Inland Empire Pug Meetup and we were pleasantly surprised at how big the park was. Even for the small dog section there's a huge grassy area with picnic tables and benches, water fountains for humans and doggos, pooper scoopers, poop bags, and restrooms. Parking is along the street and we didn't have any problem finding a space. The people and pugs at the Meetup were all nice and friendly. Looking forward to the next one! read more

I'm not sure how common big dog parks are around these parts but this is way smaller than the parks I'm used to taking my dog to. They have two sections designated for small dogs and one for big dogs. The small dog section had big dogs in there so just know people don't follow the posted guidelines here. Also, no one seems to pick up after there dog since there is waste all over the grass. Water fountains are off right now and didn't even have the dog fountain on for them. Bring your own water. The lack of space could make your dog more defensive towards other dogs who tend to have an unrelaxed vibe so just be wary of that. read more

I used to go to this park regularly - even tho it is over a 5 mile drive from my house.. My little dogs really enjoyed the play time. What made me stop was the occurance of a couple of dog "incidents" where a small dog was injured. Some folks go to the park, turn their dog loose and then proceed to go visit and forget about WATCHING their dog...unfortunate, as one injury was VERY severe-thank God it wasn't my dog--as I have seen the offender on previous visits. As far as a dog park goes -this IS a 5 star park - but it is SOOO huge that folks who don't want to be responsible for their dogs--can do that quite easily. This still still my and my dog's favorite dog park =). One thing I've been noticing.. Once the sun is set this place is empty. Especially the section for dogs 18' or smaller. I used to go to the dog park below Mt. Rubidoux until my boyfriend decided to explore Riverside and found this park literally another 5 minutes away! Since that day, Serena (my copper Siberian husky) has been forcing me out the door every day at 5 p.m. on the dot! This park is a lot grassier than the other park! Granted, in the last month that I have been here I do not believe I have seen maintenance come by to clean up the place. However, you have a good amount of people picking up after their furry friends and there used to be some dirt patches that became mud holes. But someone was kind enough to fill it in with wood chips (: the dogs are, of course, working on making a new hole to dirty themselves in. I am happy to say that I have not had any bad encounters with any dogs or dog owners! Most of the dogs here are grazers and prefer to be by their owners side, but don't be scared! There are a handful of puppies and active dogs that come regularly to get the pack going. Most of the owners are pretty responsible, so if a dog was playing too rough you can be sure their owner is on the way to shoo them away. I can not thank the regulars enough for all their welcoming words and tips they have given my boyfriend and I since we started coming to this park. It really feels homey to see familiar faces every time we come to the park and the conversations we have there make 2 hours feel like 20 minutes. You can be sure to see us there about 4-5 times a week (: as I was told: 6 p.m. for the summer and 5 p.m. for the winter! & I am usually there until the lamppost turns on! EDIT: I forgot to add! They have water bowls everywhere along with large jugs of water to refill them. This place is great! HOWEVER!! Look at Luna A.'s review below. Thanks to her warning to watch out for the woman and her dog we kept ours well away from her when she showed up. The dog had a muzzle on this time, but it didn't stop her dog from jumping on two different puppies and trying to bite them. I had let the other dog owners know in advance the lady and her dog were aggressive, so they were quick to leap up as soon as they saw her dog beelining for their puppies. I was taking a video of the puppies when it ran past her dog, and I honestly should have left it on to capture what her dog did next (instead I shoved it in my pocket and ran to go get the little Great Dane puppy). This park is AMAZING, with tons of lovely owners, but that one lady is horrible and tried to pretend her dog had never attacked anyone before and was "just socializing". After I told her she had bewares on Yelp on her she left immediately with muzzled dog in tow. So I give it a 5 stars, but honestly that lady needs to be banned, her dog is incredibly aggressive towards dogs who are just running around minding their own business. If you go please watch out for her. I like this park very much. I have two little dogs and have enjoyed the small dog side as well as the large dog side (when I went with a friend with large dogs). It's fairly clean, no homeless or various sketchy characters (like at Carlson in Riverside). Today, a few people came into the small dog side with huge dogs. My girlfriend and I just got back from taking my dog to this park, and it was great! Its beautifully maintained and the hillside next to Limonite Ave. is covered with flowers. There was even a neighing horse nearby that provided the dogs with a bit of extra excitement. The park is divided into "large" (greater than 18") and "small ( less than 18") areas that are connected by an unfenced central area. The large park has about 4-5 large picnic tables to sit at and trees abound. Unlike other parks I've been to, this one was clean of poo, and it didn't smell bad. One down side is that there are no offerings to keep the dogs busy except for any abandoned toys, and a water dish. But if your dogs likes to run, this is the place! Well, maybe I should temper that last critique some. Based on my dog's behavior, there are plenty of areas in the grass that are great for throwing yourself onto and rolling around. The park has a very nice layout with separate sides for small and large dogs. But keep your eyes out for an old white lady that always takes her LARGE poodle to the small side. This dog took my dogs toy and tore it apart. The old lady didn't apologize or do anything about it. She just had the nerve to tell me that I shouldn't be taking toys to the park! This place has No parking near it. What a joke. Some one didn't plan this well. You have to talk a three to four plus minutes depending on how quickly you walk. Along a road and in the sun. Once inside the small dog park there is standing water in the tree planters. Which who wants there dog to drink that water. Which a dog is a dog. I travel all over with my dog and I would suggest this park. For women it isn't to safe. There is no car to go to. No one around and behind the public activity. It's a nice park. The people here are more of a pack than the dogs! Every time I've come here the people are in "packs", gathered at one table while their dogs are "welcoming" the new comers. Today, it took about 2 minutes before my dog and I could go through the gate while my boyfriend moved each dog aside! Their owners were no help either- didn't call for them or anything. Today was my first time at a dog park with my Great Pyrenees puppy, Bane and he had such a blast. He's only 4 months old but a very big boy so we went to the large dog side. Everyone there was super nice and talkative and their dogs were all sweethearts and very well behaved! A lot of huskys there today, like 7 which was pretty cool. There were a few who got pretty hyper but the owners were great guardians and helped keep the more hyper dogs away till bane got comfortable. He was terrified at first but after 20 mins, he was wanting to run and play. The grass is nice and green, I didn't have to worry about excessive poop on the ground and there's a great water fountain for humans and dogs. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I'll be coming back with Bane so he can get more confident around different dogs read more

I love this dog park. I normally encounter good dog owners and good doggos. Unfortunately, today that was not my experience. This dog attacked my lab/husky three times today. The owners both refused to leave when asked. They blamed my dog's wounds on regular dog play stating that this was simply how dogs played (it is not). They also proceeded to say that I should be the one to leave if I was frightened even though their dog was the aggressive one. I am taking steps to get them both band from the dog park. Meanwhile, I recommend that all dog park goers avoid these owners and this dog. I honestly believe that there is no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad dog owner. These owners seem to have no regard for the safety of their own dog and the other dogs that frequent the dog park. They repeatedly stated that they attend the park regularly which makes me frightened for any future incidents. Please beware. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and a half now with my Husky mix Luna and I love it. Friendly owners and friendly dogs all around. Every dog there has their own personality and it's great. If you come in the mornings on the big dogs side the regulars are super friendly will introduce themselves. In the rare cases that a scuffle does break out, because let's be honest it happens, the owners are quick to break it apart and will check on all the dogs. Plenty of grass all around and the benches are well shaded. One irk is that there are people who do leave their dog's poop the day before but the older folks pick it up in the mornings. read more
