We would've loved to have a birthday party here through the city, but without a working bathroom that has not happened. It was a huge deal before, but now that our oldest is potty trained, having a bathroom for young children is kind of essential. There used to be swings for both babies and older children. A while back however, we noticed that all but ONE baby swing had been taken down. Not sure if it's maintenance, repair, or what but we've been twice now in the last month or two and they've not returned. The park structure itself is accesible, clean, and lots of fun for our kids. There's great tree cover, benches to sit, and lots of room to spread out. But the preteens/teenagers riding motor bikes through the grass and pathways have also soured the park for us.

She hosted it all by herself and decided to hold it at this park. For the event, I give her an A+. She shared information for parents who may not be aware of everything that's available. As for the park itself, when it first opened, it was so beautiful. Unfortunately, it does need a facelift but for the most part it's still a very decent park. This park offers a variety of activities. There's two playgrounds. One for little kids and one for larger kids. There's a huge field in the center of the park with a walking trail. There's also workout equipment along the walking path. There's also two basketball court areas. If you want to host a party, there's large and small reserved areas. As for the cleanliness of the park, it's one of the cleanest and nicest in Rialto. The city does a good job cleaning it but sadly not everyone in the community does the same. If in the area and looking for a park to bring your kiddos or have an event keep this one in mind. One more thing, I'm an Autism Mama and this park offers me peace of mind because it's a gated park. Yes, there are still openings to enter but having a main gate around it is appreciated!

Ed Hales is a very useful and well used park. It functions as a town square and is used for…read moreconcerts, special events such as the Art Walk and Movies in the Park, and other public productions. It's occasionally enclosed to be used as a beer garden during downtown events. It's home to the annual Christmas tree as well as the Sister Cities clock, restored paintings on the brick wall and other public art. It's also a quiet, shady place to sit and eat at the tables or benches. While there's all that good stuff, the real problem with it is that it can get quite filthy; for example, I once encountered an apparent human turd there.

Located downtown is this great little park in the heart of the city. It's very small but it is a…read morenice place to take a break after window shopping downtown State Street or to have a bite under the sun. This park is used for many great activities. During Thursdays Market Night you can always find great entertainment from a local band, or occasionally see a local school perform on the weekend. During the holidays, it is the center of excitement hosting the tree lighting ceremony as well as the New Year's Eve Orange Drop. I highly recommend checking out this little park when looking for a nice place to relax or have a fun activity.

My kids call it the Blue Park because of the blue colors used on the play ground equipment. There is alot of land. So much of the park is not used. I think the playground should be expanded since they have so much room. They have 2 tennis courts. (which is used quite frequently) A baseball diamond which I don't see people on much. And two play areas. One on the west side of the school which consist of a two sections for older kids and younger kids. On the South east side there is another play area. It is further from the parking lot so most people don't use it. I think this section is used more for the school and may have been build by Bryn Mar. The play area uses a rubber mat which is good in case your kids fall. There is no basketball court, which on one hand is usually good because it keeps the knuckle heads away, however, considering the area in Loma Linda there isn't usually that kind of rif raf there anyway. North of here there is a few basketball courts that people frequent at Bryn Mawr Veterans Memorial Park. The neighborhood is nice. I think they should add a little more shade. There is a restroom near the play area which is good, but there is only one table with a canopy for shade. When it is a hot and sunny day it can be a problem. Especially if you don't want to get a tan, or a sun burn, or both!

A good park but it definitely needs some work. There are no swing,but there is a lot of other fun things to do. All 4 of my kids have a good time here. I would say it is aimed more at the 4 to 8 year old group. It has a nice slide and lots of obstacles for kids to climb on. It is pretty clean here. The basketball courts are nice. It is in close proximity to the Sierra Lakes Elementary. At night, this place can be shady. When the sun goes down, we tend to leave with our kids. It is a nice place to visit on cool afternoons/evenings. It lacks a good amount of shade. During our hot summers, the equipment can get very hot and burn skin. Be cautious of that!
