Great experience on Saturday afternoon! Food & service were awesome! Loved the atmosphere too. We ordered an appetizer pretzel, grilled chicken breast w/ fries and a Mushroom Burger w/Cole slaw. They have plenty of TV's to watch sports games. They do have an indoor/outdoor bar. They also have outdoor sitting. There was no wait to be seated even though it is a Friday night. I got the Cubano sandwich. It was okay, not great. I chose chips instead of fries. I was disappointed to learn chips meant tortilla chips, not potato chips and I swear they were out of a bag, not fresh. I wanted the steak 'n cheese sandwich but cheese whiz Instead of melted real cheese. Are you joking? The wait for takeout is twice the time that's given when you place the order. Don't get me started on the noise level. Absolutely not.

Ordered. Steak and cheese with fries. The sandwich was so drenched in cheese iz the steak fell out of the bread. Bread was soggy with cheese. Cheese tasted like it came out of a can. The fries looked over cooked but were also very soggy. Food was aweful. Made me sick to my stomach. read more

I've been to two locations and both were mediocre at best. The vibe is cool, I guess. Typical sports bar where the semi-wealthy can mingle with the less than wealthy; we all get along over a few beers and a game. Staff is typical as well, service industry aficionados that can't meet the expectations of a more upscale establishment and seem annoyed by your presence at times. Throw in a "buddy" or "pal" just to make sure they let you know where you stand: "I'm cooler than you are." Whatever, I'm not expecting great service at a sports bar anyway. Biggest complaint is food cost vs quality. Ordered a grouper sandwich at "market price". I didn't realize grouper was an endangered species. It was decent but NOT worth what they charged. Overall, 1.5 thumbs down. The only saving grace was the bars huge open window and beautiful weather. I will not be returning. Think I'll stick to Bdubs, Chili's and Applebees where the service is better and the prices more reasonable. For a game? I'll hit a hole in the wall. read more

Went for burger Monday, burger AND fries for under $7. It's a bit pricey off deal as the burgers are served without fries and add to the bill. The place was busy and the manager took our drink orders to get things started. The food was great, tasty burger and damn good fries. Super friendly bar staff, GOAT grilled cheese sandwich is excellent, wings were great. French fries were over cooked. Drinks were good. The staff accommodated our request for a specific game on TV. A senior manager cared enough to ask about us as well as our experience. Very friendly. First time! Wife wanted a good burger. So off we went to the Food + Beer on 53rd Ave E. Not knowing what we could get, we were humongously surprised at the tastiest burger we have ever had. i know it's new but service is a little slow and I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and being from Philly you need to get rid of the garlic rolls you served the cheesesteak on totally changed the taste and not for the best I also had their fries very good and I had their Cuban egg rolls which where good but the one thing that got me also was that the sandwich was a la cart and fries you paid for separately most places add fries. i stopped in for lunch last weekend. sat at the bar. service was good at the bar. had a few beers, and ordered a steak and cheese sandwich. was surprised that it did not come with fries had to order separately. that was strange. the steak sub come and was completely covered with cheese wiz. when i picked it up all the steak fell out the bottom, had no onions, peppers. the cheese tasted like it came out of a can, was horrible. the steak had no flavor even after adding salt and pepper. took 2 bites and felt like throwing up. cant say much better about the. fries i had order. they looked way over cooked and they were soggy. almost like they had been recooked. waited a long time for this place to open and i was very disappointed. i will not go back.
