TBH, we came in here after experiencing some good seafood down the street. The games lured us in! I love that this place is welcoming, has plenty of TVs, spots to sit and many games in their other room. I enjoyed racing with Batman and my husband enjoyed shooting some hoops. Our family have become regulars here. It's a great place to grab a tasty bite (especially later at night which is rare to find much of anything open that is worth having). This location has a much more laid back vibe than their Fruitville location. At one point this place was probably a well kept secret, that only locals knew about. It deserves all of the accolades you have read about. The French Fries are fresh cut and never greasy. The cheesesteak sandwich is also delicious, not fatty meat made with onions and cheese. Got to admit I should have asked for extra cheese for I love a gooey sandwich. Service is a hit or miss. That is my only issue with this place. I do appreciate the walking manager who does everything from serving refills to cleaning tables. On this night, the walking manager was more attentive and saved our visit, than our server. So, although I think their food is very good (except the nugs). We had an awful experience. We just started going here to watch the Philadelphia Eagles games last year. It has a ton of Eagles fans and was a good time. Opening game this year we got there early (you have to in order to get a seat for the game) and ate and had drinks. My husband was feeling very good and was talking to lots of other fans and having a good time. They (I think the owner) announced they were pulling raffle numbers and if it was yours you would get an Eagles trivia question and if you were right you got a free drink. He then said no yelling out the answer "and I am talking to you gold chain" he said to my husband. We laughed because it was a legit comment since he was drunk. BUT THEN he pulled my husband's number! Lots of us laughed. He looked at my husband and said he didn't need a drink and he pulled another number. That was so uncalled for! We left immediately. However, to my pleasant surprise, it happened to set my taste buds to the moon! The combination of the sweetness and spice was everything I ever wanted in life. Mixed reviews, I enjoy taking my kids here. The games aren't well maintained which is a huge bummer because they have good games and that's the main reason to come here. The food is spotty. Most of the time it's just acceptable, sometimes it's amazingly good. The amount of times the food is amazingly good has slipped. The young women waitresses often ignore families and cater to single guys their age. Sometimes the cleaning is not that great either. Some of these waitresses are downright rude to families. Instead of their standard mimosa bar, currently, their brunch offers champagne bottle service, which I'm not at all complaining about. You get an entire bottle, your choice of two fruit juices, and fresh fruit to top off the drinks. Their brunch menu items are so hard to choose from. I was torn between the Chicken N' Red Velvet Waffle and the Huge Freakin' Breakfast Burrito, but I decided on the savory of the two. The breakfast burrito was one of the best I had, partly because it featured super juicy shredded chicken. I returned a second time for a late lunch and had the Malibu Barbie Lettuce Wraps, which were tasty and refreshing, but a little hard to eat due to the really small pieces of bib lettuce. I would only suggest to improve the utility, an easy fix. The Fries Eh!? On the other hand we're perfect. Complete with cheese curds and gravy...yum.
