We really liked this grocery. It has a great selection of fresh veggies & pre-cut veggies for dinners or platters. (Perfect for parties or on the go vacation) They had all variety of meats & cuts. A good bakery/deli selection. Everything you could really need from the grocery or household necessities. It was a perfect stop for our Christmas Vacation in Pigeon Forge. We will be back! read more

We rented a cabin in the mountains so we decided to save some money and eat in a few days. Didn't change anything from our typical grocery list. In New York our same groceries would be around $80 we did get a few extras I'd have to admit. Our totally was $170!! $100 more than normal!!! What the heck! Our cashier was kinda friendly but extremely slow and throwing our food all over the place. Yeah we won't be back. read more

First, both times I have visited a Food City, I have been treated very well. Since I have no FC stores where I live, I asked to use the store card and they did it without hesitation so I was able to get the discounts they were offering. Second, the last time I visited the store(tonight), I ended up leaving my wallet in the basket. Once I realized it, I immediately called the store and a customer service manager named Brittany let me know that I had left it in my cart and a customer returned it. They put it into the store safe in order to secure if for me. I can't say enough good about the associates in this store. I would have been in big trouble if I had not been able to get my wallet back as I did. Hats off to this store! read more

Came down for Christmas, which we rented a cabin about 10 minutes away. The first thing noticed was how clean, bright and neat the store was. The fresh meat department was very in order. Didn't really get to interact with staff because it was very easy to find what I needed. Will shop here again when I come back. read more

My daughter has 3 foster kids and 2 of them had the flu. Being the first time we needed to get prescriptions filled for them we ran into problems because the state apparently hadn't filled out the paperwork properly. The pharmacy manager Stephanie Ellis spent an hour and a half on the phone with doctors, insurance agents and who knows who else and wouldn't give up until she got it straightened out and was able to get them the medicine they needed. She went way beyond what was expected. I highly recommend the food city at 2339 Newport Hwy, in Sevierville, Tn. Great customer service!!!! read more

I'm not in the habit of writing a review of something as frivolous as a grocery store, but we went more than once, and I consider it important to review something people might visit, and since it's a prominent grocery store along the main drag, I imagine quite a few people will be stopping here. It's quite convenient, which is not the case with the Kroger, which I found by accident while driving on a side road in PF. But unfortunately, it's kind of dirty, somewhat overpriced, and not customer-friendly. I needed change, but was asked to go to the customer service window to get it. That's frustrating. It's all right as far as it goes, and it's got all you'd need. But if it were a store where I lived, I wouldn't shop here. read more

we didn't have any issues. It was a much smaller store than I'm used to. The parking lot was small but we were able to get right in the front. As soon as we walked in it was very busy. Maybe it's the holidays or maybe it's always like that. Anyway everyone in the store was courteous for the most part being it was crowded and you did have to move around and wait for people to move from time to time. The lady at the front checkout desk was very nice and informed us we could not get any wine on Sundays but that we could buy beer . Anyway I'm sure we will be back to the store tomorrow or another day. Hopefully we have another cool experience. No issues. read more

The customer service at the Pigeon forge store was exceptional. I was previously in customer service and it is rare today unfortunately to see such considerate employees going on and above their job title. Lovena Lopez is a true treasure. We've visited the store twice, and both times have been impressed. The building itself is older, but appeared to be very fresh and clean. It was organized and neat. We found every item that we came for. The associates spoke to us in a pleasant and friendly manner. I'm not sure who he was from a distance, but he appeared to be someone in management. I noticed him walking throughout the store making sure things were in order, and was a professional with the associates . He appeared to be taking great pride in his work. It's nice to see that there still is a place like this in today's world. It just has a nice, hometown feel about it. I wish we had a place like this back home where I live. The highlight was I asked for a Guest Card at Customer Service and they didn't hesitate to give me one. The manager was nice and all smiles, as well. The store fell short food wise. The prices were insane at this places. From vegetables to deli meat ($8.99/lb), the cost was about 50$ more than Walmart for Walmart quality. The meat (hamburgers) went bad in 3 days and the rolls were gross. The cheesecake didn't taste like cheesecake at all. The main problem with this store is the lack of removal of old or expiring items. read more

Has all the amenities you need from a grocery store. Inventory is all packed in there pretty good but the staff there is friendly enough to show you where to get what you need. I'm used to larger grocery stores, with everything spread out and nicely lit. This place reminds me of the grocery stores growing up. Nothing wrong with that of course ... gives it a nice feel when you are on vacation! read more

A supermarket with convenience store prices and demeanor (except for the cashier who cut me a deal by sliding her value card). Being on the main strip makes this a prime location for campers and visitors to the area. The store felt older and run down, but well stocked. read more

I was really surprised at the quality of the hot deli at this market. The food here is really very good and the prices are excellent. The cold meats and the col slaw and potato salads and regular salads ar just as good as those in the fancy restaurants. read more

This place really isn't any different in products from what you can find from where ever you came from, but it is a bit pricier. Make sure you grab one of their member cards even if you are just visiting. Other than that we had no complaints with this store and we will use them again when back in town. read more

Store is dirty and dingy, and very obviously caters to tourists whom are here for a week or less, and not repeat customers. Prices are WAY above market. I've had the unfortunate experience of having to shop here several times, due to the fact that I live and work here, and my work schedule sometimes gets in the way of going to a better store. The single most horrible thing about this store, and one that stands out in my mind: If you buy fruits or vegetables at this store, they will rot VERY quickly! I suspect they get their stock from other stores that remove stuff from their shelves after so many days. If you buy, say, a mango, or a peach, or a kiwi, or a head of lettuce from this place, eat it fast. Leave it in your fridge for 2 days? Fruit flies are already breeding in it. Even their bananas rot faster. Other than that, expect to slum with the People of Walmart in this place, their demographic customer, once you're in the store and experience this, is not the type of person whom notices mushy kiwis or brown lettuce..... read more
