Im @ an impass of which was better? The service or the beer? So....i decline to choose. We built a four pour flight w a dose of a mad knowledge drop!! There is a display of bottles opposite corner of the restroom. That is representation of their contract brewed offeeings! *Spoiler Alert* The building was built in 1856...for a brewery. Todd, i said: i dont know what style but you should brew a beer named...1856. Sand Creek was previously Pioneer which brewmaster Todd worked at. Oscar's Oatmeal Stout is brewed from a 1995 Pioneer recipe. For GOOD reason, two-fold: deeelicious & its a World Medal winning beer. If you think Oscar's is good? Try the nitro pour! Then....try the 12% Double pour!! Bar? Raised. This brewery was well worth the quick 40 minute drive. I am already anxious to make another stop!! On the flight i didnt much care for the Pierce St Pale Ale. Was by no means a bad beer. More appropriately: brewed true to style. I just dont prefer bitter beers but....still give them a go. The others i had all agreed w my palate; three Oscar's Oatmeal offerings. Bugler brown, Buford-Weiss, & Essers Best PL. Upon arrival Johnathan poured me of a refreshing Groovy Brew. Finally! Stopped in early Friday night to my 384th brewery w friends who are local. I mean I knew…read moreit was also a B&B but.... when you pull up?.... fer cute!! A few little yard arts, chairs, and plants...very welcoming! The B&B is on the left and the tap room is on the right, the garage, where the covered patio is. Co-owner Brenda was behind the bar. They had a good tap list, not overwhelming but enough to quench any palate. There was also a good list of guest taps, all Inbound. When Brenda mentioned she could pour me an "air" I responded... oh Lucid Air! That's one I hadn't heard in a minute! The tap room is very cozy and w Brenda also being a travel agent there is travel destination suggestions on the tap list. Mid visit the Brewer/co-owner, Ford came behind the bar. There was a decent selection of vinyl....not sure if they have a record player or it's just fun "decoration"? My friend gave me the explanation of the names on the shelving behind her. Again....fer cute!! I won't divulge it, go on & ask for yourself, I think it'd be funner hearing it in person from an owner! One friend opted for an Inbound beer. After having Brenda pour me a taste of Chubby Chipmonk Pale Wheat, which was good but better than a standard wheat beer since it's a Pale Wheat, so if you're looking for a muted beer, this isn't it, so go on and taste it. I asked my other friend f I could have a sip of his Bicycle Brown? There it is....that's what my palate is looking for! I opted for a pint of Bicycle Brown Ale... it hit the mark....as I still had a couple hour drive in front of me to the cities. I cannot speak enough of how kind and warm the owner was. She went above and beyond for us and even walked us to our car with umbrellas in the pouring rain. As far as beer, our favorites were the strawberry lemon shandy for a nice fruity summer beer and the Citra/Mosaic IPA. Delicious! We come to Lake Pepin every year and we will definitely be back!

You can tell it's a place where the bartender knows you & your whole family. Beers were cheap. Food was cheap. I was told to get the pretzel with cheese. I saw it come out of the freezer then warmed up in the microwave....expecting the worst- especially for $1.25....but it was amazing. Seriously best soft pretzel I've had in a looooong time. Overall, if you're in Osseo - check out Gail's for a beer or two. Seriously, I think it's the only bar in this Friday Night Lights type town.
