Terrible customer service. Not interested in being helpful or doing anything to make a sale. Wasted an hour drive because they couldn't be bothered to answer the phone to confirm they had the shoe I was looking for and surprise- they didn't, even though the website said they did. Asked if they could order them for me and they said they couldn't. Lots of employees standing around and acting annoyed to answer any questions. It was like they were trying harder to NOT make any sales. 10 out of 10 would not recommend. read more

There's gotta be 200 different types of Nikes (shoes for men, women, and children, and a whole bunch of Air Jordan shoes and gear), Adidas (including a bunch from their Tubular line), Puma, and the rest. The absolute WORST customer service honestly wish I could put 0 stars, for I will no longer be shopping here again. The lady there with dark hair was no help at all at grabbing sizes for us to try, and it's horrible because I'm pretty sure she was a manger. Also disappointing because we were willing to buy quite a few pairs of shoes at over $100 a piece. The most frustrating thing of all was the cashier that was checking us out named Jullian. We were trying to do an exchange and he lead us to believe we were getting the whole value of the shoes back which were $180 (which we were only returning because they broke after only a little bit of wear). And we could only exchange them for equal or more value. So after picking a few things out and checking out he now tells us, the return is only $70. I understand 'policy'... But I wish he would've said something or the manger would have when she came to "help" him. Again very disappointed because our family has had all boys play basketball and always buy very nice shoes there. read more

Tbh the inventory at this place has been lacking compared to how it used to be. I've been in several times the last few months and every time they haven't had my size in the shoe i wanted...which was very unfortunate and annoying. BUT, i am giving this store 5 stars because of the customer service of Zachary. I think he is a manager and he has been in the store every time that i have come in (he must work A LOT) but you can tell he is passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and puts customer service at the top of his priority list. He is always attentive and willing to do whatever he can to make my experience better...including ordering the shoe that i want in the correct size online in a timely manner. He has very rare qualities nowadays in retail stores... but it alone will keep me coming back. @footlocker... Fix the inventory problem and I'd be buying a lot more. read more

Terrible customer service. Never going here again. They had me run my card multiple times thinking there was an issue with the machine and the system was "being slow". After multiple tries I decided to go to the atm to pull cash and to pay with my purchase instead. I noticed my balance was way lower than before. So I went to my bank and questioned my balance and it showed that Footlocker actually did charge my card multiple times. So I went back to the store to show them my statement and asked them to charge back those transactions. All they said was that they couldn't do that and I had to take up the issue with my bank. Now I'm out a couple hundred dollars and have to wait 90 days from my bank to deal with the issue. read more

Solid selection. I do usually find what I'm looking for. I did however, have a negative experience here recently. My mother and I went in and she attempted to return a pair of shoes. The manager was helpful, and granted, the shoes were bought several months before the return, so he didn't have to be accommodating. The issue was with what I assume was an off duty employee. While my mom was trying to return the shoes, he stood off to the side and made obnoxious and rude comments, such as "who does that." Etc. I appreciate the manager's help on the matter. But my mother doesn't need attitude from an employee who speaks with a brutal, fake, what I can only assume as New York accent? If he thinks being rude and talking like a bad stereotype gives him "street cred" at a footlocker so be it, but next time an older woman comes in just professionaly explain the return policy and save the comments for when we leave. read more

Great shoe and apparel shop at City Creek. Have all your basketball needs. Carry all major brands and get all the exclusive Nike Basketball shoe releases. Great staff and very knowledgeable. Only downside is that they are closed on Sundays. Stop by and snag some kicks! read more

Ashley at this location is one of the least helpful people I've ever come across. Asked over the phone if I could exchange a specific size of shoes and she told me to come on down. After a 20 minute drive I was told at the store that they in fact didn't have that size. Don't be like Ashley. read more

Footlocker in City Creek Mall, Salt Lake City is the worst!!! This is the worst Footlocker Store in terms of customer service. Buyers and sneakerheads beware. I won't buy my shoe from this store. I bought an Adidas Crazy BYW from the Footlocker Store in Fashion Place. I realized after I come home that the size I chose was tight for a thick pair of sock so I decided to return it in the this City Creek location. When I showed it to the employee he immediately checked the soles and even consulted with his manager. When he came back to me he accused me of wearing the shoes asking "How many times have you worn this?" not even asking if I have worn it. It was a small dirt on ONE of the shoe and if he's even logical he should have thought that if that was worn the other pair should also be dirty but it's spotless. I told him I never wore it outside. I just tried it and it might have pick up some dust from our carpet knowing that the Crazy BYW easily gathers dust. But he did not believe me and he even emphasized that I did not buy the shoes from their store. Their too picky on the dirt even if it was from their stock and not even noticeable. I did not even notice it when I bought the shoes. I went back to the Fashion Place location and they happily accepted my return. If I were you, I would check other locations first and buy the shoes from other Footlocker stores instead of this one. They will always assume the shoes were worn already when you return them. read more
